Great service with good communication about stock. Delivery was timely but some wood was damaged on arrival. It want make a difference to our project but it's a shame to receive damaged items.

Would be nice if customers could be advised of a morning or afternoon delivery slot. I booked the day off because I was advised that the delivery would be between 8.00am - 4.30pm which I was happy with because you had told me. It would have been better if I only had to book half a day off! Nevertheless great service with very helpful delivery man. Thank you.

Thank you for your review and I’m sorry for the lack of clear updates regarding your delivery.
I appreciate how frustrating it is when you’re waiting on materials and don’t have a confirmed timeline.
Having looked into this, the items did need to be sourced from other depots, which unfortunately caused a delay. The delivery was then completed on Thursday once everything arrived at the branch.
That said, we should have kept you better informed along the way, and I’m sorry that didn’t happen on this occasion. We’re feeding this back to the team to ensure communication is clearer in future.

Called but didn't leave a message at…
Called but didn't leave a message at 8.51 and 8.56. I don't call every missed number back due to scams! Says they tried to deliver twice but this is not true as no further calls and was in from 9am all day! Office called at 11.45am saying can't deliver until Tuesday now which is unacceptable as I have people coming Friday to lay bricks!!!

Having looked into this with the branch, I can see that a delivery was attempted in the morning but unfortunately we were unable to complete it at that time. I understand the delivery was then successfully made to site shortly afterwards.
We always aim to keep customers informed as clearly as possible, so I’m sorry if this didn’t come across on this occasion. Your feedback has been shared with the team to help us improve communication going forward.

Overall very good, but could improve customer service
Delivery drivers were friendly and delivering the items was no problem. However, the company could do better with communication and customer service. On the date of the expected delivery we did receive a call saying only half the products will be delivered that day and the rest will follow a couple of days later. That was ok as the half being delivered would be used first and great they let us know. On the further delivery day, we received no call and only half of the remaining products were delivered. After a couple of days of not hearing anything from Covers I phoned to ask if there is an idea of when the remaining products would be delivered, was told they would look into it and give me a call back with an update. They did not phone back and so I called on another day to be told the remaining products were out for delivery that day. Luckily I was working from home that day so it was fine, just left frustrated at the lack of communication and customer service. But overall I would use Covers again in the future.
