Great customer experience.
I like to use Covers for wood supplies, as traditionally I believe this was at the heart of the business. The staff are always helpful and happy to assist. Today I popped in and Tash was extremely helpful, proactively asking if I needed assistance, sourcing my timber arranging for it to be cut (thanks to Ben & Jack) and then sorting my invoice. Always engaging in happy conversation. A credit to your front of house customer experience. Well done.

I placed my order on a weekend
I placed my order on a weekend, and had a confirmation email on Monday advising the delivery to be on Wed between 8 and 4. I called at 4 to query where it was to be told the delivery was the next day and it must have been an error on the original email.
The price and quality of the materials was fine, its the admin that led to this rating.

We understand how frustrating it must have been to expect your delivery on Wednesday and then be told when you called that it was scheduled for the following day.
Our standard order confirmation advises that the branch will contact customers to arrange delivery, so we’ll investigate the communication around your delivery date to understand what happened and why the information you received was incorrect.

- I’ve since spoken with the branch, and it appears an error was made when the delivery information was sent across. Unfortunately, this was human error, and we can only apologise for the inconvenience and confusion this caused.
Product not Available on site when gone for collection
I went to collect the brick at the Bexley Heath branch after I had been told it was ready to be collected. the brick wasn't there. I went all the way from deep Croydon. An elderly man took my number and told me that he would call the next day. He didn't. I called and there was no answer and I left a message. I have not got a response but I am being sent a review to be completed.

Disappointed
Disappointed, delivery date missed despite my calling and being told it was being loaded or out and that Covers deliver up until 1530. Not a good first impression; delivered the following day and that delivery went well, benefiting from a pleasant and cooperative delivery driver. In addition, my noting that the Welcome10 code had been denied on my first order, no action or feedback!

I highly recommend Covers. They offer quality materials at competitive prices, items are available for collection quickly and efficiently and for a reasonable charge will cut pieces to size. The staff were all friendly and helpful; what's not to like!

Received a phone call after three days to say that order was available and they could deliver the next day.
Arrived with time stated and placed order where I required it.

Delivery driver was great
Delivery driver was great, polite, helpful, efficient. I was rather disappointed that after the order email said I would receive delivery notification there was no notification at all and the guy just turned up. He said if I hadn't been there he'd just have come again, but that's inefficient and not environmentally conscious. Also if I'd been in a meeting if have felt pressured to come out and deal with it. Not ideal. But delivery on time and product fine, so a minor gripe really.
