Hier wird auf Reklamationen nicht einmal reagiert. Es wurde auch im Vorhinein nicht darauf hingewiesen das die Yacht keinen Jahresliegeplatz in der Mariana hat wo wir sie übernommen haben. Erst am letzten Tag bekamen wir überraschend die Kosten der Liegegebühren von über €1100,- präsentiert. Weiters hatten wir einen Frühbucher gemacht und damit geglaubt einen guten Preis bekommen zu haben. Einen Monat vor reiseantritt war die Yacht die Woche vor und nach unserer gebuchten Woche um €750 günstiger. Die Nachfrage auf diesen Preisnachlass wurde abgewiesen. Doe Yacht selber war in einem verherenden Zustand. Verdreckt und viele Mängel. Croatia Yachting und Split Yacht Charter werden wir nie wieder buchen und ich rate auch jedem
davon ab.

Professionell, freundlich und lösungsorientiert
Professionelles Charterunternehmen mit einer großen Auswahl an Booten. Zuverlässig und handlungsfähig auch bei unerwarteten Problemen. Unser unsprünglich gechartertes Schiff kam unmittelbar vor unserer Reise leider beschädigt zurück. Dennoch standen einige Ersatzboote kurzfristig für uns zur Auswahl. Da es etwas kleiner war, haben wir einen ordentlichen Preisnachlass erhalten, der anstandslos erstattet wurde.
Die Übergabe und Abnahme des Bootes war professionell. Die Organisation herum war sehr freundlich und hat sich um unsere Interessen gekümmert.
FAZIT: Professionell, freundlich, zuverlässig - auch in Problemsituationen.

Avoid this company
If the customer service worked as efficiently as the billing department, it would be perfect. We took a cruise with Croatia Yachting and honestly, it’s best to avoid them. The check-in service was terrible — no one to assist you, and no one available for the boat handover. More than half of the extra equipment we had reserved wasn’t available. The skipper had only 14 days of sailing experience and didn’t even know how to install the safety net.
At check-out, we were assured we’d be refunded for the missing equipment within two weeks, but we haven’t heard anything since. No one responds to our refund requests, either by email or by phone. The agents who were so pleasant when it came to billing have now become rude and unhelpful.

As you were part of the same crew as Mr. Fermaux, please note that the response we provided to him applies to your review as well. Still, we would like to take this opportunity to address your comments directly.
Having checked your boarding report, we can confirm that your check-in was fully completed at 18:11 h. Considering that check-in begins after 17:00 h, that a certain amount of time is required to inspect and prepare each vessel, and that you were our guest during the very busy week of August 9th, we do not believe there were any undue delays in the process.
We were sorry to hear that the initial skipper did not meet your expectations. Your comfort and safety are always our top priorities, which is why—despite it being the peak of the high season—we promptly organized a replacement skipper and delivered him to your location as soon as possible.
While we always strive to provide highly experienced crew members, the great demand during summer sometimes means that newer, though still certified and trained, skippers are assigned. Every professional’s career has a beginning, and we appreciate your understanding in that regard.
Regarding your refund for the unavailable extras, we sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your claim. The refund was not processed by the reception at the time of your check-out, but this matter should been resolved by now, and we do regret any inconvenience caused.
We would also like to emphasize that at no point did our team have any intention to behave rudely toward you. On the contrary, their impression of the communication was just the opposite. They feel they were doing their best to provide assistance and support throughout your trip.
Once again, we truly regret any inconvenience you experienced and appreciate your understanding. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again on one of our yachts and provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable charter experience in the future.

Boat was lovely, charter company not so
Boat was lovely, the charter company not so. Took 3 months to respond to complaint, failed to deliver on their own terms and conditions regarding selection of captain and hostess and dismissed our points as if our viewpoint was irrelevant. Compared to previous Croatian charter, this firm was a major let down. Fortunately the country is beautiful and you can charter from others.

So etwas habe ich in 14 Jahren Segeln noch nicht erlebt!
Das Boot war drei Jahre alt und in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Der Rollmechanismus des Vorsegels war nach einmaliger Nutzung defekt und wurde innerhalb von 2,5 Tagen nicht repariert. Weitere Mängel an Hauptsegeln, Anker, etc. haben das Segelerlebnis soweit getrübt, dass wir sogar früher abgereist sind. Auf die nachträgliche Reklamation wurde innerhalb von 2 Wochen bis dato nicht reagiert.

Croatia Yachting is the WORST
UPDATED AFTER COMMENTS FROM CROATIAN YACHTING
They do not maintain their boats as they commented. IF THEY DID, then a door that was opened by a 70 year old, 100 lb. woman would not have fallen off it's hinges. Simple as that. My 3 year old granddaughter would have had the same experience. It was our bad luck to be on the boat that week and suffer this malfunction. And let's be clear: THEY NEVER reached out to us to answer questions, show us a bill, etc. You decide if they are worth the risk.
Our experience with Croatia Yachting was horrible.
Due to not properly maintaining their boats, a hydraulic door cracked two days into our trip. This door was opened by a 100 lb, 70 year old woman.
They consequently charged us $4100 to fix the door.
Whoever had the bad luck to be on this boat, this week, would have experienced the same issue with the door breaking. It's like renting a car and having the door fall off when you go to get in. Not your fault. Croatia Yachting won't return our phone calls, never presented a bill. They just quickly charged by credit card that I left for a security deposit and never tried to understand how or why the door broke. Do not trust them. Look on the internet. They have a ton of very bad reviews.

The damage in question involved the aft cabin door, which was broken due to improper handling during your charter. This was confirmed by our technical team and documented in the official boarding report with photos taken at check-out. All of our yachts undergo regular maintenance and technical inspections before each charter, and the door was fully functional at the start of your trip.
The repair cost was €4,145.55; however, only €3,500 was charged from your security deposit, in accordance with the standard charter agreement that all guests sign prior to departure.
The purpose of the deposit is precisely to cover such instances of damage occurring during use.
We understand your frustration, and that is why we always strive to communicate transparently and handle every situation in line with professional charter practices and legal requirements.

The best crew … from Dubrovnik
The best crew …. anywhere in the world. This is our 3rd sailing trip from Croatia, and this time from Dubrovnik - the captain, management, hostess ….. made our trip truly memorable. Mariana and her team catered us to all our demanding needs, our captain Toni was always paying attention to our requests, and our hostess Martina ….. not only beautiful ….. but a great cook and seamless.

A wonderful charter company. Very good organization and communication. Friendly and efficient service. If there are any problems, they are always helpful and very flexible :). The Hanse 460 yacht is in good condition. I recommend this company for a holiday adventure at sea!

Second time renting an almost new…
Second time renting an almost new sailboat from Croatia Yachting this season. Easy booking - what you see is what you get - and professional handling when on- and offboarding.
They don’t fuss if you make a small scrath but are ofcourse diligent on the material things such as bow thrusters, prop, and rudder.
The boats was nice, clean, and well functioning on both occasions.
They have thousands of visitors but still remembered me with one month between my visits. Martina and Toni in the Baotic Marina office was very helpful in the booking process, when arriving and when checking out. Thank you guys 🙏🏽
One thing I’d mention that is more of a general observation for Croatia than specifilcally to CY, is the hefty uptic in prices over the past years.

Wir hatten eine unvergessliche Zeit auf der Yacht! Das gesamte Team war professionell, herzlich und immer für uns da. Die Organisation lief reibungslos, vom ersten Kontakt bis zur Rückkehr in den Hafen. Die Yacht war top gepflegt, luxuriös ausgestattet und hat wirklich keine Wünsche offengelassen.

There is always something to improve
We had rented a catamaran Bali for one week. The CY services themselves were good, staff people were kind, we were satisfied, thank you.
Recommendations: pay more attention to some details because for that rental price people expect that you check the number of broken wine glasses after each client so that we don't have to drink wine from a cup or check the pans and replace the burnt ones in order (it costs 20-30€), sharpen the knives, towels could be newer and small soap, shower gell and dishwasher tabletes costs nothing. I don't know if it's the responsibility of the charter companies or the marina is in charge, but luggage carts are always a problem (there are 200 boats in the port but only 10-20 carts).
