aftercare is a joke alongside the customer care staff. Had full front of house windows and door installation four weeks ago which was rushed through for installation to take place 1 week after sales person had visited. ,We was told that if we agreed to a quick turn around installation than a discount will be applied. Windows were installed a week later, however once work was completed we noticed that there was problems with x2 windows and a missing panel to top opener. Installation guy acknowledge the issues and said he would put a full report in once in the office and get the issues resolved asap. We are still waiting! Numerous phone calls and empty promises, I am now going further and reporting them to trading standards and financial ombudsman. I would never recommend this company again.

We had all windows changed about 6 years ago and when I look at them now I wonder why. Some windows were fitted inside out. Porch let in so much rain. One repair man came back after complaints and he sorted the leaks in the porch but overall they were not a good company to deal with and their workmanship was below par.

Pretty much the same as others are saying. Quote dropped if we said yes on the day. Worst decision I have ever made. On the day of fitting the front room window had a fault in it. The next day the fan lights wouldn't open on 2 windows. The upstairs window was closed but sounded as if it was open. Since then we have been locked out 3 times and the door has dropped and every window has had a fault on it and won't open. Yet again I am waiting for a service call. Also was told there would be child locks but there aren't so I have to pay extra for each of them. Don't waste your money with Crystal.

Excellent customer service. Had an issue with the door lock that required an emergency locksmith Saturday night. Customer service immediately took ownership of problem and resolved it very much to my satisfaction. Thank you Jo for the great service and for sorting it so quickly.

I went out to purchase some Saturday groceries and was approached by a Crystal representative I did not want to change the windows in our house as I was happy with our original features and did not want to spend money on features I felt did not need to be changed, however as my mother wanted to see how much it would cost I reluctantly agreed to a sales visit

The sales person was brilliant as I did not want to purchase the windows however the sales persons knowledge of crystals products changed mind which is a skill within itself

The only issue I had was dealing with a relatively rude woman in the head office, I called head office as I required some further information but this person was less than receptive and became quite short causing me to almost cancel the contact, however a gentleman named Mark convinced me otherwise and compensated us for the upset so the job went ahead

The surveyor attended our property and was helpful and knew his stuff, he left us feeling like we were in good hands and relaxed

When the contractors came to undertake the work they were respectful fast and efficient, the workmanship is exquisite, I am particularly impressed with my windowsills the are fantastic, the door is beautiful (a little difficult to open at first) but overall I am over joyed with the fantastic work undertaken in my home

We had our windows and doors fitted. They told me there would be safety bars on the windows as I had young children. There wasn’t. They then charged me extra to fit them.
They left a lot of mess, scratches and cracks in my window sills and walls.
Over the years we’ve had to call them out constantly because the windows and doors have jammed and broken. We were left over a weekend with no lock on the back door as no one would come out and fix it until the following week.
Same with the front door.
I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them to anyone else.
We are now out of garuntee and I have another jammed window. I was told it would be £75 for call out and then extra for the part. But they may not stock the part any more so in that instance they won’t repair it. I’ve called someone local who are coming today for much less,
Don’t waste your money.

Bought 9 new windows with them. Quote reduced by almost 50% if I said yes there and then. I did say yes. They said the work would take 3 days. In the end, it took one day. And the work done was very very very poor. They put in windows upside down. They stood on a radiotor so it broke off the wall. They put in the window boards misaligned (a difference of almost 10 cm on one side). And they left the house really dirty.
So I asked for someone to come to review the work. He agreed and we agreed they would come to do the repairs last Saturday. One guy showed up, looked at the work, said that it was too much for one guy and said they were going have to come back... And so the saga continues!
If only they would have taken 3 days to do the work... then perhaps it would have been done properly from the beginning.

Received a quote from Crystal Windows today. Salesman friendly enough, proceeded to berate Everest not as good as they used to be, Anglian, check companies house as they should have been shut down etc. Quote came to £5300 for six windows. The price then got reduced to £4300 if I made a decision by tomorrow 10am. Lucky for me they had availability for the week of the 19 September if I agreed there and then he could then knock off the survey fee, price now dropped to £4000. Said I would need to think about it. Although the window sample was carried in a case I never saw any, and wasn't offered that either. Based upon that I will use a local glazing company. Sales tactic was very poor and have been reading too many that have endured the same experience. No thank you Crystal! Update 12/9/2016 I received a text today from Billy following on from my visit yesterday they have repost my paperwork and have offered a revised price of £3500. How did my original quote now drop by almost £2000.......

Front door is only 3 years old but Spring mechanism has gone and barrel very loose. Crystal have advised next available date for a maintenance visit is 16 Aug (today 18 July) and if the door gets stuck then we can call them and they might be able to come earlier! It's a front door and my mother is very ill with no other access, their guarantee is a waste of time!

The service that we received was superb, firstly the salesman that came was not at all pushy like other companies,good price, and kept us informed every step of the way,
The fitters were punctual, clean tidy and polite and did a first class job of making good etc.
Just waiting to have more done when we have saved up!
Have recommended to friends and family without hesitation.
