Cuba City Hall delivered my documents just as advertised. I was informed each step of the process and received the documents via DHL.

Obtaining Cuba documents is incredibly difficult but Cuba City Hall got the job done when many other services flat out told me that they couldn't get my documents for me.

Some advice: Know the municipal district in which you're obtaining the document from. The more information you can provide, the easier it makes their job. Also, be patient. Getting any Cuban official to legalize a document is a lengthy effort, and that's definitely true with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX). Lastly, the payment structure might seem weird but it is set up so that that a payment issue doesn't prevent a transaction. The US has a lot more compliance hoops for anything Cuba-related.

I will be using Cuba City Hall in the future for any needed Cuban documents. Thank you!

I requested my mom's birth and marriage certificate through CubaCityHall.com and was skeptical about whether this would work or not. It wasn't cheap and it took almost a year to process and receive the actual documents so it wasn't fast either but it worked and the documents came exactly with the right content and also legalized. Needless to say, we're happy with the outcome and the team there is well-connected to deliver so i recommend using them.

In the beginning, I was cautious about soliciting help from an unfamiliar source, however, I'm glad that I went with my gut. I was kept up-to-date during the entire process (from start to finish). This is a scam. Those reviews listed below are fake. I spent my hard earned money trying to retrieve my mothers birth certificate. I should have known when they made me send money to a sketchy site in the UK. Total scam. Please don’t waste your money or your time

This is a scam. I paid a total of ~$600 for a copy of my husband's birth certificate and it has now been over a year. The person I was corresponding with, Sergio Mencerit, assured me multiple times it was on the way, and yet he claims that he sent it to me, but he put my husband's name and country on the envelope WITH NO ADDRESS. I told him several times that we don't have addresses here in Costa Rica, and that it would have to be sent to DHL. Now he's telling me "just go to any post office" and ask for it???? Or to go to an "American" post office in Costa Rica. THERE IS NO SUCH THING. He refuses to track down the package or refund my money. AVOID THIS SERVICE!!! He will take your money and produce nothing.

The service provided was as advertised. I was in constant communication with a very cordial gentleman, who kept me informed of the process. The process took some time, about 6 months. I am pleased with the service provided and would highly recommend Cubacityhall.

When a relationship breaks and the marriage certificate is needed by the court, Sergio will help to retrieve it and send it to the uk. Expensive but necessary!

Sergio and his team did an excellent job at retrieving and legalising my mother's birth certificate. It was a challenge, as we weren't certain of her exact birth location, as she left as a child circa 1969. The document arrived quickly in London, and the service was reasonably priced (not to mention the customer service was excellent). I highly recommend working with them, as navigating the bureaucracy can be time consuming and complex. They will save you a lot of headaches and expenses versus trying to do this on your own. I woudl give six stars if that were an option. My wife and my 93 year old mother in law have been trying to obtain certified copies of their Cuban birth certificates for several years. They always hit a dead end with several attorneys in Miami. One day while roaming the internet I stumlbed upon CubaCityHall. Although it took several months to identify the documents, they were were MINREX certified and are now in Miami. The shipping from Havana to Miami took exactly one month via DHL. In a previous (April 22, 2021) review, I had praised Cuba City Hall for their work in obtaining my Cuban birth certificate. I should mention the service includes the mandatory signatures, stamps, and endorsements to make it a legal document. This later part played an important role in the Spanish Consulate in La Habana granting me citizenship status. I highly recommend Cuba City Hall. They will do the right thing for you! You can trust them!

Getting your Cuban birth certificate with all necessary legalisations is never an easy task but having to do it from abroad during COVID-19 seemed merely impossible. Thanks to Cuba City Hall it was quite easy all of a sudden. Sergio Mercenit communicates clearly and quickly, is reliable and was flexible and willing to look for solutions whenever a possible issue arised. i tried several agencies to obtain my cuban birth certificate after monies was sent, all my immigration paperwork with dates, names, allien registration all companies stated they could not locate it and that it appeared that i had never lived in cuba. one of those companies are claiming they are still looking for my birth certificate.

upon further research i came across cubacityhall.com and decided to give them a try. i communicated with sergio mercenit and provided all information he asked for which is the same infomation the other companies had asked for.

several months later i received my cuban birth certificate properly registered with the cuban authorities. i checked the mail tracking # from dhl and the tracking # reflected shipment/mail had originiated from cuba.
