I purchased a Sharp's microwave from Curry's over 2 years ago. Last night it began smoking, I knew it couldn't be food as I keep it clean and use a cover so I got a mirror to check the roof of the inside just in case.
I noticed the paint was peeling off in large chunks. I know things don't last forever but, you'd at least hope for more than this.

I contacted their customer service dept and was transferred SIX times, the call took OVER AN HOUR!!

At then end I was told there was nothing they could do as I hadn't taken out a 5 year extended warranty at the time of purchase but finally they could repair it at a starting price of £149.00!!!!

The microwave didn't even cost that much - passed around and messed about only to be told they were not willing to exchange it and that I would have to pay almost double what it cost for them to just look at it for a repair

So no cooker, no great customer service and an hour of my life I can't back.
RUBBISH customer service.

It was my very helpful and patient assistant Ruebar, so was knowledgeable and pleasant.

When we went into Currys at Ashton we were utterly perplexed by the range of T. V. choices. It had been quite a while since we had last chosen a T. V. Julie gave us all the information we needed to be able to see our way through all the various "screen types" and their description codes. Without her help we would still be just as confused now.

The customer service experience made shopping for a gaming laptop easy. The Staff took the time to explain the product, accessories and insurance ... much appreciated.

Great advice on our requirements. They also make sure your getting the best deal from various offers.

Wrong TV supplied had to return to store to exchange for correct item,ordered on line and collected from store,TV was correct make and screen size just wrong model was given to me,partly my fault for not checking till I arrived home,store was very apologetic.

The plug of the dryer , one of the metal was curving and was not able to to plug it but the delivery knows about bit but did not tell us as he was holding the plug till the end and place it on kitchen table. They did put it inside nicely but hiding the dodgy plug but we managed to used a tool to straighten it. That experience was not nice. That is cruelty when you have paid so much money.

Great service from curry’s to the start of ordering my washing machine to the promp delivery ,they offered a service ,and followed it through ,ie the removal of my old washing machine and the quick installation of my new one , thanks again to Josh and Brad .

Got a good laptop at a good price and the in-store team was professional and speedy.

We went into car phone warehouse in Currys yesterday,with a phone issue, which was dealt with and resolved by Jimbo, what a knowledge guy,he needs a pay rise 💰👌👌👌

Curry is the best place to get your items because I had an issue with my item and it was settled well.

Got a salesperson who knew what he was talking about. Listen to what I wanted and budget and showed me reasonable options. I will stick with this branch for always now. It’s not my local but it definitely has staff that do and can help

Shopped at the 2426 Branch Ashton UNDER LYNE, the service as I walked in, started off great with the greeter. Rubab took my initial items and brought them up front for me, while I continued to shop. She was very helpful to find me and take all items upfront for me. When I was ready to checkout, all 5 of my items were already upfront, and she placed them on the counter and rang me up. Rubab made this such an easy and great experience, can’t wait to return to UK, and visit this great location.
