Very helpful first class customer service

We popped into Dale’s after an atrocious experience at Evans cycles, Bath St.

The staff at Dale’s were superb with our 10 year old, and there were a large range of bikes available on shop floor for him to test out. He quickly settled on a new bike, and after riding around the store, the staff member helping us offered him the chance to ride out outside onto the pavement before commiting to the purchase, a helmet was even provided.

We were over the moon with the service, and our son is over the moon with his new bike. All in we spent around £600 between the bike and accessories, money which I am glad we didn’t part with at Evan’s (see my other review on our experience there).

In future, Dale’s in our go to for his bikes! My Dad even got my brothers bikes from here 40 odd years ago!

Good advice from Jim on the phone regarding product suitability. Appreciated the nice touch of looking me up on Dales’ system during the call, to be aware of my e-bike purchase.

My Cube e-bike developed an issue with rear deraileur. I took it in to the shop on a.m. Monday 12-5-25. The front service desk (very friendly gent) explained that they were very busy in the workshop but would try and get it fixed as soon as they could.
I was surprised to receive an email just the day after telling me that the Cube e-bike had been repaired. Collected it this morning.
All I say, is that I am delighted with such a fast turn around to repair my ebike.

Great service. Bought bike online and it was ready for despatch next day. Due to unexpected work commitments I wasn't going to be at home for several days. One quick phone call and they held onto bike until I was ready.

Excellent customer service and knowledge

Jonathan Allen went the extra mile. We were coming into Glasgow on a Sunday and he had the right Giant MTB on the floor for us. Good price and he fitted extra goodies while we saw an exhibition in town.

Reserved a mountain bike for Xmas delivery. Went to collect bike after being “professionally built” the bike had no brake pressure…bike was swiftly took away & brakes swapped over from deeply model. Fast forward a few months brakes terrible squealing brakes identified as callipers leaking fluid, in the end whilst under guarantee it needed new leavers lines discs pads & callipers. I don’t know what they did but made a right mess of it
