I bought a manual chain tensioner and it was the wrong one. then they tell me they charge me a restocking fee and I have to pay to ship it out to them and it’s not my fault. This is extremely bad company to buy parts and the customer service sucks.
If I could rate this company a ZERO I absolutely would!!! WORST customer service I have ever received! Ordered a helmet that was TOO small. Did not realize that till we tried it on and my son went snowmobiling 5 minutes around the house to see if it fit and it was too tight. We sent it back and asked to switch it out for a larger size. I got a call from a lady on the other side that was so rude and harsh I could NOT believe how she was talking to me, she should be FIRED! She told us cause we wore it (for 5 mins) we had to pay for half the new one (another $100-$150 bucks). I couldn't believe it!!! I was like what? You have a 100% refund policy how are you NOT standing behind your product and customer service and switching it out?!? I have NEVER had a store NOT do a full refund or switch of product for a different size. To charge us another 50% more for a switch was ridiculous. I will NEVER purchase another item from this horrible store. PLEASE read the reviews before buying from this company! Go to Up North Sports they are AWESOME!!! I have had 2 similar situations happen with this store and they went above and beyond in customer service. Even sent us a $20 credit for the hassle. Dennis Kirk is THE WORST store I have ever dealt with. RUN do not buy from them!
Wish I had seen the other reviews before I purchased something from this company. Their prices may be nice but it's not worth it. I had to make a return... It was sent back EXACTLY how I received it but somehow they said the item came back with scratches. That either means it came to me with those scratches originally or they made it up so they didn't have to give me a full refund. Anyway, when I called customer service the lady was extremely rude and I requested pictures. I never received the photos and never heard back from them, it's been over a week and I just received an email from my PayPal account saying I got a refund (it was 20% short of a full refund!). This is absolutely horrible. You'd think a company that's been around this long wouldn't do stuff like this.
If I could rate this company a zero, I would! My husband purchased handle bars from this company that stated it would fit a 2011 road glide and it did not. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. (Item was purchased on Ebay, however the item was sold by Dennis Kirk). His Ebay claim is coming next! The bars were never mounted because we recognized it by sight. The bars were then wrapped by a professional and sent back. The company refused to give my husband a refund stating it had scratches. We took great of the item in our presence. See photos. After a week of the company having the item, he called to inquire on the refund. Sandra/Sandy stated they didn't have the item, however our tracking notice said it was delivered. She stated she would call back and never did. He spoke to Julie a few days later who stated Sandy was on vacation and needed to call us back. Of course we did not receive a phone call back. Finally, we were told that we would only receive $180 of an item that was $295. We sent photos of the item because when the bars left us, they were brand new. No telling what they did, especially since per Sandy they mixed in with other stuff! We sent them photos and requested from them which were never provided. Over a two week period of trying to get a resolution which we always initiated, a manager decided that it was in the best interest to send us back the item. This company is a total rip off! Social Media HERE WE COME!

Thank you for reaching out to us. After looking into this situation further with our Customer Service Manager, it appears that the bars were sent to you properly packed in a box. When the bars were sent back to us, they weren't properly packaged in a box and were scratched in transit due to the improper packaging of only being packaged in bubble wrap. UPS will not pay a claim on damaged goods being the item wasn't properly packaged in a box when it was sent back. When we receive items, they all come in a semi that is loaded to the top and is mixed in with many other products that we receive daily. We have no control over how items are shipped, which is why we recommend shipping items in a box with another from of protection within the box for the best method for sending and receiving items undamaged. Per your message, you have already spoken to a manager and resolved this situation. There is nothing further that we can do as it appears this situation has already been resolved with a manager.
As I stated before and stand behind my message even more, your company is a straight rip off and now are liars! When we received the item, it was in a brown box with only bubble wrap. The thin brown box was DESTROYED in transit to us. We made sure to send it in better condition than how we received it. We paid $35.00 for a UPS professional to securely bubble wrap and place the item in a custom box. Initially your CSR was going to give us a 100% store credit until he asked for our money back. Then it was stated, it was damaged due to mounting, now you are saying it was damaged due to transit. How does a item fully wrapped in bubble wrap get damage AND why would your store send us the item that way??? Sounds like you just want to steal money from people. Your lies are so conflicting and yet you have failed to address the additional issues. (1) Per your false advertisement stating it would fit my year bike, the item was sold as 1- 1/4 x 1 inch, however it was 1- 1/4 all the way through. (2) Terrible customer service - not one of your CSR agents returned calls to us. Your staff refused to send us photos and no telling what your store did with the item once it arrived as you CSR had no idea that you it! Your "manager" hung up the phone on us and said, we are just going to mail it back. How is mailing back an item that we cannot use per your false advertisement, resolving the matter? Your response alone shows lack of customer skills. Responding to customers 101, you should always take ownership in small portion of a situation to at least sympathize with your customers. Your staff has not once tried to deescalate the issue AT ALL. As a person who has a MBA and MS in Human Resources Management, who trains thousands of people in customer service, I know what I am talking about. It's no wonder why your store employees behave this way. Your store is a scam and a rip off! I will blast this all over your social media pages and I will not let this go!

Bought a pair of Alpinestars boots November 2019 when I received them they were 3 1/2 years old and the padding was starting to fail.
Alpinestars dates there boxes when they were produced so if you bought boots from them they been sitting in the warehouse for 3 1/2 years or longer.

I bought two of they're EPI performance CV boot replacement kits #02130092, 55-2880, WE130072, I wish I had read the reviews, some as old as 2014 telling me the package does NOT COME with 2-Sets of Clamps and a new Snap-ring. Although the picture shows 2 Sets of Clamps AND a Snap-ring, you're not going to get all that. I bought 2-kits. The clamp-bands are commonly called Ear-Type clamps and I used the proper pliers to install them.The rubber-boot is great quality, the grease pack is more than enough for the job, and the band is no different than other ear-type clamps I've used in the past. Four star rating is because of the Customer Service even though their DennisKirk.com product picture FALSELY indicates 2-sets of Clamps and a new Snap-ring.
Placed an order for almost $1,000. Paid via CC. Was having my order shipped to my gf’s house instead of mine.
Got a call from “Joy,” who very rudely told me the order must go to the billing address. Explained that while I understand, never had that issue before. Offered MULTIPLE ways to verify my identification, address, etc.
Not enough for “Joy.” She got even nastier and finally I told her to just cancel the order.
While I can appreciate their position, they did not want to work with me even after I offered multiple remedies. Oh well, their loss. I purchased my items from another vendor who had no problems shipping to my temp address.
Terrible customer service. I will nor be purchasing anything else from Dennis Kirk. They won't back up the parts they send. They just kick the can down the road and blame manufacturers for their mistakes. Sandy is horrible in the customer service department.
Also, reading Dennis Kirk's responses to some of these reviews just confirms that I will not be doing business with them again.
This makes the second time I have ordered parts from denniskirk.com with no errors in the processing of my order. My order went out the same day and was received on the day promised. The prices were comparable, if not lower than most. I will be using denniskirk.com for most of my motorcycle needs in the future.
Very misleading. I purchased a windshield from them via EBay. They love to advertise that they have a 90 day hassle guarantee but that is the catch. They won’t take it back if you lay a finger on the item. The customer service lady was very rude and arrogant. I purchase online all the time and I have never seen anything like this. Very surprised. I would recommend all you guys avoid DennisKirk at all costs and save yourself a headache.
Terrible customer service. Was told by a representative that the part would fit. So I then ordered it. When I received it it would not fit on my bike. So I returned it. They then refunded me less than what I originally paid for the part saying I had to pay return shipping even though it was on them and the description on the part was not accurate. I will never use this company again.

If there was a small nit to pick it would be getting the tracking info.
Otherwise they are very responsive. I ordered some tires that didn't fit and returned them. They shipped the replacements the same day.
They have earned me as a repeat customer.
I’d give this company minus two if it was possible. Horrible customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.

Spent about a half hour on the phone with a Tec. to make sure the LED tail/brake light assembly would fit. I was promised an exact fit. The part arrived and " IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO WHAT I NEEDED". Very disappointed and wasted a lot of time. I am getting a full refund BUT STILL????????
Avoid dealing with this disreputable company.

I returned a tire which is defective. Some areas of the bead were
splitting as I was mounting it.
These were areas the tire spoons never even touched.
Once I got it mounted, I noticed that an area of the bead had folded over and was not seated. I could not get that area seated properly and felt it was unsafe to use the tire. So, I sent it back.
Today, I called Dennis Kirk and was told that they won't do anything "because the Warranty Dept. noticed the bead is damaged".
NO KIDDING!!! That's why it was sent back in the first place!
Then I get, "We can't do anything with it". Well, neither can I. Ripped-off for $85.00!
They are like a bunch of gangsters. I will never order anything from them again.
DO NOT TRUST THESE BUMS!!! They are incompetent and
Dennis Kirk is NOTHING like the company it once was.
It's now staffed by a bunch of incompetents who don't know
how-to handle a simple manufacturer's warranty claim, in-house.
Even though the return form has a checkbox for "defective" and "quality", they will do NOTHING FOR YOU if / when there's a problem. I call that lying to customers.
Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere and avoid them.
This place is horrible and way, way beyond disreputable!
