We have a family reason to purchase a new sofa, so we brought two visionary 2 seater sofa’s, waited the 3 months it was delivered, by delivery that did not even know how to connect all together to work, I had to teach them, Then only to find out it is not compatible with new Tv systems as the Bluetooth system they have is 7+ years old and times change but to cut costs they opted for the cheep option, then a technician came out and could not, told us 3 to 6 weeks and we would have new center consoles that would work, then 4 weeks later I stoped in store Peterborough where we purchased it and was told it had nothing to do with them it was down to kings Lynn but Peterborough is 15 minutes drive and kings Lynn 45 I struggled to work how they say it’s closest, and to add insult they told us it would not be until end of May 2026, and even then could not promise that the sofa would work with the tv, they sent another technician as our sofas do not sit in line at all, he arrived, manually manipulated the two seats aggressively and then took photos and said they where within DFS tolerance, I have photos, they are not, he told us that it was normal to manipulate them every time you get out of the seat, I have photos of the sofas measured and show that they are between 1 and 1.8cm difference across the front from floor to seat in 4 section of sofas thus it would be impossible for them to be straight, they bow at the back, the sofas look horrible, they don’t work, so after being told choose something else or return them to again leave us without any thing to sit on and a health situation within family this just can not happen again, I was told that if I choose something at a lower price I’d have to go online and choose items to make the difference, or find something more expensive and add more money, the two sofas where £4,000 . So we feel sick, so drove to kings Lynn, and now have to wait 13 more weeks for sofas to work as intended with a TV for the cinema experience for a family member “C” terminal, had to go with a older version without LED screens, heated seats and lumber all things we chose to help the situation we face, at NO point has DFS or anyone offered compensation, a gesture of good will or anything, in fact quite the reverse, made to make us feel as we are wrong. We are returning customers of DFS and I can say after 55 years on this planet I am utterly disgusted with DFS over all of this and the way we have been treated, I therefore have no option other than to write this and warn anyone NOT to purchase

Over the last few weeks I’ve been in several times whilst choosing a new sofa for my new flat. Each time I was met by friendly helpful stuff, willing to go through options and show me a selection of choices. Then finally on Friday Sarah was very patient and made completing all the paperwork relatively pain free!
Really hoping my new sofa and chair last as long as my last DFS suite!

Came in to browse for new sofa . Staff very helpful but not pushy . Left us to make decision but there to ask questions . Ordered easily . Came earlier than expected . Delivered on time . Delivery guys good and took all packaging with them . Love my sofa !!!

Sofas dipped after a year, stains still on from delivery guardsman insurance still not contacted us, store in west London on flyover White City is utterly useless and they talk pure BS nothing gets done ✅ come across as caring but really there aggressive vulchers all in bed with each other litrally. Very poor experience from 2021/2023 - don’t be sucked in. You’re a fool if you do.

After my last 5*review, I noticed my order was incorrect, after getting a phone call to resolve this Faruk was quick to blame me and my partner giving us attitude for not checking the order before confirmation, DFS now order your furniture through a small and crap tablet. Now had to cancel my order and reorder, now with a later delivery date!!! Last time using DFS very disappointing

The faulty furniture was reported on September 21 we are now at the end of Dec 22 over 13 months all I hear is an apology but no action has been taken
DFS falsely claims warranty for 5 years
a warrant is an empty word with no backup

Very comfortable visit to the store not pushy just easy just what we wanted
Faulty furniture. Very poor aftersales customer service. Abrupt store manager at Manchester Depot. Friendly before sale. After sale they do not care. Avoid.
Their poor after care has cost me time and money on a replacement for an item delivered in May 2022 and Sept 2022 still no resolution and being told what my rights are.
They don't care. All about the sale.
Update. September 2022.
I called DFS contact number provided on the response to my initial review. I explained the issues and the customer services person agreed it is unreasonable to be waiting 8+ weeks for a repair which is yet to happen when a new footstool could be delivered in 4 weeks. The customer service agent said he would contact Fabio at the Manchester store to contact me in 72 hours and offer a refund or replacement. This was on 1st Sept. Its the 10th and still no call. DFS is a joke. Do not shop there because if there is an issue with you future getting a resolution be it via their call centre or Manchester depot will cause you alot of stress.
