Despite the typical wet weather, I really enjoyed my recent day trip with Discover Scotland. Chris - our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and I learned all kinds of tidbits of information. Would gladly book with them in the future!

Johnny was excellent. The trip would not have e been the same -at ALL! with a different driver. He was extremely knowledgeable (“some of it might be true”)!! He was helpful, kind, funny & made these two old women feel looked after.

The van was full & it became quite “tight” with all 16 seats filled & hip/knee arthritis but that’s not Discovery Tours fault.

We do wish that the group could have been billeted together to encourage community. We did wish that Discovery had an accompanying attachment explaining some of the sights we were seeing that Johnny did not cover.

My biggest disappointment as a history buff was the exclusion of Culloden. That seems a crime & a sin to not stop there at that Holy Place. Please add that stop for future travelers.

Absolutely cracking tour! Brilliantly organised, spot-on timing and a really good use of every day. Colin was a top guide — knowledgeable, great fun and an excellent driver.

One tiny suggestion: you’re passing right by the legendary (and very haunted 👻) Drovers Inn… surely worth a stop next time!

We had a great tour to Inveraray castle and Loch Lomond with Chris. Highly recommend this tour from the Greenock port

Ron was an amazing guide. We had a problem in a route and he did not hesitate to turn back and take an alternative one. Given that the van was small we could do it without any problem and fast, unlike other tour companies which have big buses. So that was great. The experience of being not too many people also was great, and is the main advantage. And Ron told us many things and stories about scotland and everything we saw. We are very happy!

We enjoyed the adventure, our Driver Johnny was brilliant. The only negative was the seating arrangements at the rear of the bus. The 4 rear seat's should be reduced to accommodating 2 passengers not 4. We felt packed in and views were restricted.

We had an amazing 3 day tour to the Highlands and Isle of Skye. Chris was full of interesting information about the history of Scotland and the landscapes. Isle of Skye is breathtaking! Our accommodation on Kyleakin was perfect and Sam was a wonderful host. I wish there were more places to eat for dinners there. I loved how Chris had bird food to feed the birds at the fairy pools and carrots for the coos on the way back to Edinburgh and also the stop at the bakery and chocolate shop! My husband is not a pastry man but he loved the pastry he got and the hot chocolate was the best I’ve probably ever had. Perfect tour!

What I love about your tours is the attitude of your drivers. Kollin (sorry if I spelled his name incorrectly) was very kind and provided a flexible schedule.

I’m really happy that this time I got to see the Hogwarts train. Moreover, the Fairy Pools were absolutely stunning!

Ron was an outstanding tour guide, very knowledgeable and threw some nice jokes. Great driver as well. Lots of “ comfort “ breaks too.

Great day exploring the highlands. The tour was well organized and efficient. Glencoe and Glenfinnan Viaduct were beautiful. Our guide, Kyle, was knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend.

We had an amazing trip!! The tour guide (Colin) was great, itinerary was perfect, we loved our B&B, and it was overall just an amazing trip. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the Highlands!

Ron Barnes was a fantastic tour guide. He had a great story to tell, full of historic facts and a few corny jokes. His charisma was nothing short of spectacular. His playlists were great! And I am definitely adding it to my collection.

Colin was a wonderful driver and very friendly and knowledgable tour guide during our 3 days on the isle of skye tour with discover scotland tours.

The itinerary was perfect for where we wanted to go. It was good as our guide Billy was flexible and changed our destinations to suit the weather. Our guide Billy was so helpful and knowledgeable with his history, and he was a lot of fun. He made the whole 4 days very entertaining.

This tour was amazing! Very worth the money. Although it is a long ride, our tour guide makes it feel short with his stories and telling of Scotland’s histories. Plenty of bathroom/walking/snacking breaks. The views are beautiful both ways. We would recommend shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty if planning on climbing the hill to see the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Even on a sunny day, it can still be muddy and slippery.

Perfect day trip from Edinburgh and our guide was extremely helpful!

The tour was fabulous, big Al made it fantastic. He was funny, knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on !!!! When I come back I want to request him !!! Thank you Al and discover Scotland for a fabulous day

Late plans were accommodated in a very expedient and satisfactory fashion!

I did the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe and Loch Shiel from Glasgow. Our tour guide was very thoughtful throughout the journey, great banter, very informative and overall an amazing experience. Anytime I’ll be out in Scotland, I’ll make sure to book another tour with Discover Scotland
