Bus driver was amazing, and the sites were beautiful

Absolutely nobody can beat BIG AL! We loved every minute, he’s the most amazing tour guide, one of a kind, we have nothing but gratitude how he handled the tour all day. We initially thought 12 hours on the bus would be a long stretch but there were so many stops, such informative, so fun, such a build up , with a surprise at the end, Big Al style, truly grateful for such an experience! Highly recommend to all travelers exploring Scotland!

A truly unforgettable experience and the best tour I’ve ever been on. Our guide Scott, who went above and beyond for all of us, really made this tour extra special. He has such a joyful and fun presence, made sure there was never a dull moment even when there were longer distances between destinations, and told the best stories. The locations we visited were absolutely breathtaking and adventurous. Also could not have had a better bed and breakfast booked for us. We stayed at the Crossroads bed and breakfast and it was perfection. Food, high quality and delicious, hosts, some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, the room, extremely clean and comfortable, I almost couldn’t sleep with how beautiful the view outside our window was. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the highlands and isle of Skye especially if you are lucky enough to have Scott as your guide and stay at the crossroads. My only complaint is that I wish it was longer because i am sad that it’s over. I still think about it every day since I left. P.S. I would like to greatly thank Scott, the Crossroads, and Discover Scotland Tours for making my engagement very special. My girlfriend proposed to me on day 2 at Dunvegan Castle (I chose this specific tour because of Dunvegan being on the itinerary) and he was just so excited for us and really helped us celebrate.

Big Allan drove us to Kilmartin Glen Standing Stones. The route was so beautiful, the scenery astonishing. Allan explained so clearly history, interesting facts and important details about Scotland’s west territories. The Museum is so interesting and children friendly, we liked it so much! I truly recommend this tour, the views and atmosphere are unique.

We really enjoyed a stress-free travel to the fantastic scenery of the rolling hills of Glencoe and the misty lochs. Our exceptional guide, Ciaran, weaved local history, political and social-economic aspects, folklore and humor together, whilst also cared about meeting everyone’s needs. Fully recommended experience!

This tour was everything we were hoping for and more. Our tour guide Allen, or big Al, was thoughtful, funny, and made the experience what is was - truly valued and memorable. So thankful for Discover Scotland and Allen - we will absolutely be booking another tour when we visit again. Cheer!

The coach is very clean, and the tour let us feed the cow and sheep, my child is very happy. The accommodations recommended by the tour is also great. There are loads of animal statues, Both children and adults like them. The room is very clean and the landlord clean the room everyday!

In 12 hours I got to see marvelous prices of the Scottish highlands accompanied by a terrific guide/busdriver ”Steve” who pointed out historical sights accompanied by its story in the Scottish history.

Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable of the tour. He went out of his way to make sure we all had a pleasant trip. Also, the chosen locations were outstanding.

We had Kieran on Wednesday, August 13th, for The Loch Lomond & Stirling Castle tour. It wasn't his usual tour route, but he was very knowledgeable, humorous, and honest with us on the day trip. We didnt do the loch lomond boat tour, and while we waited the boat stop had a great coffee while we waited but else wise noting else to do in the wee village. We really enjoyed the trip. We were a bit delayed arriving back due to heavy traffic, but we didn't mind it at all. We enjoyed the trip overall and would return to do another day trip another time.

It was a great tour - such amazing locations. We stopped for photographs, and enjoyed all of it.

Wonderful tours and great guides. Did my second tour with them last Sunday and it was exceptional. The tour guide was absolutely the best! His commentary and sense of humor was so great. He was informative and it was so good to listen to him on the bus. He was a very good driver and we felt safe on the bus.

The guide/driver Stivie who was with us was kind and hilarious, he also knew many interesting stories about Scotland. It was well organized. The mini bus for the 16 people tour was comfortable. The driving passed rather quickly.

We had an amazing time touring the Scottish Highlands and the Isle of Skye with Discover Scotland Tours. Everything was fantastic, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip.
