Excellent experiance
Placed my order in early April, but the door was out of stock, Steve, contacted my to explain this and offered me a full refund, as the door would not be in until June. I decided to keep the order open, and await delivery, and I am so glad I did. The door was delivered today and it is outstanding, the quality is second to none, the delivery was excellent, the door is in perfect condition. The whole experience of dealing with Doordeals has been painless, there customer service and prices are both excellent. I will be returning to them for further orders.

Never ever use this company
Never ever use this company! They take your money and fail to deliver on promises dates then try to charge you more for delivery! Go anywhere else than here.
So have now had a reply. Unfortunately they are missing facts and changing the course of events. SO originally when I requested the order be expedited I received an email from "Steve" stating this could be done and for £35. I immediately replied and said yes. I did then not hear anything for 36 hours so when I called to make sure this was happening I was passed to Samuel who said it would now be an additional £105. This got the doors delivered. I then phoned and was told the glass would be dispatched on the 11th and delivered on the 13th of May - great as thats when i had fitters putting the doors in so I had the glass redirected. The glass never arrived and only when another phone call was made the glass was eventually delivered on the 15th too late for the fitters.
Shame they do not highlight all these issues on their very simplified and avoidance reply.

Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I'm sorry to hear you weren't happy with your order experience, I'd like to address the points raised.
Having reviewed the full communication history and order notes, here's my understanding of how things unfolded:
You placed an order with us on 02/05 which included, among other items, two doors with a glazing option. As noted on our website, this glass is made-to-order toughened glass and carries a manufacturing lead time, which in this case also fell over a Bank Holiday.
Following discussions with my colleagues regarding the lead time and your need to have items on site sooner, we arranged as agreed to split the delivery. The majority of the order was sent via expedited palletised delivery on 07/05, arriving on 08/05, there was an additional charge to contribute to the costs of this which was discussed and agreed upon. The glass was then to follow separately via our own vehicles on the standard delivery service. Following a change of delivery address that you requested, these were delivered on 15/05.
From what I can see, we supplied everything as agreed and didn't make any promises that weren't met. That said, I'm more than happy to discuss this further if there are any details or communications that aren't reflected in the order log or indeed to better understand your frustration.

Sam provides excellent customer service every time
Ive been using Doordeals for over15 years now and they've always provide an excellent service, not only are their doors and Joinery always top quality but their staff and customer service makes it a pleasure to do business with them.
Recently I ordered a fair few oak panel doors of various bespoke sizes and Sam completely surpassed my expectations with the amount of help, perseverance and guidance She provided to ensure that my order was exactly what I wanted before placing the order, thanks again Sam and look forward to placing my next order

Wouldn’t recommend if you’re hoping to receive an item sooner than their specified 5-10 working days. It states on site that should an item not be made to measure you’re welcome to call up to ask whether a quicker delivery can be made. After emailing, adding a note to my order & calling a few times and finally being able to get through I was met with a lady who didn’t really want to acknowledge the fact that the order may be delivered sooner, other than asking me to pay more (the delivery was already £45 for a product that’s £99) for next day delivery if I wanted to. Unhelpful and not something I’d say meets the expectations given the website clearly advertises a quicker delivery if possible by contacting the company.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that your experience with us didn't meet your expectations.
Having looked into the order, I can see that you placed this online on 10/05 with a note requesting dispatch and delivery as soon as possible. From the call logs, I can see that you spoke with a colleague of mine approximately 24 hours later regarding this.
Based on the order notes, she advised that the only way to guarantee a faster delivery than our standard lead time at that point would be to expedite via a next-day courier - as logistics had only received the order for routing that morning. She explained this expidited option would carry an additional charge to cover the extra logistics costs.
My colleague also advised that she would prompt the logistics team to come back to you as soon as possible with a delivery date via our standard service. It appears that at this point, you weren't happy to proceed with the third-party next-day option, which of course was entirely your choice.
Via our standard delivery method and at no additional cost, we then contacted you on the morning of 13/05 to confirm delivery for the following day (Thursday 14/05), which was completed as planned - ahead of the lead time originally indicated before your order was placed.
With that in mind, I hope you can appreciate that we feel the 1-star review and recommendation not to use us doesn't fully reflect the service we provided. We did everything we could within the constraints of the situation and delivered ahead of schedule.
We're grateful for your order, and we'd genuinely welcome the opportunity to discuss this further if there's anything you feel we missed. If, on reflection, you felt the experience was better than your review suggests, we'd be grateful if you'd consider updating it.

She went over & above to help me with my Order. [Didnt get a discount tho!!]. To organise easy payment, friendly advice, and options which you don't receive from a computer screen. I could'nt recommend DoorDeals enough for there professionalism and courtesy. Thank you 😁

I’m very happy
I’m very happy with my External Hemlock 3 Panel custom sized door from Doordeals. Ordering was extremely easy on the website, I was kept informed throughout the process regarding timelines and delivery and as delivery is completed by Doordeals themselves it was delivered exactly when they said it would be with the required care. A fabulous service all round and although the door is still to be fitted it looks perfect.

Do not purchase anything from Doordeals!
Do not purchase anything from Doordeals! They take your money and do not care about any issues you may have.
Firstly they delivered my French doors and frame to the wrong address. They tried to call me for ten minutes just as I was briefly indisposed. They then took my delivery back to Chesterfield 230 miles away from my home. They returned the following week but inisted on charging me a re delivery charge.
When my carpenter checked the doors and frame he found the header of the frame terribly bowed. They also did not mention they do not put a draught proof seal on the rebate where the doors meet. I told them I live next to the beach on the Straits of Dover and wind can be brutal.
I told them I am a vulnerable adult with severe complex ptsd and this was taking a toll on my mental health. They don't care and don't care I complain to their CEO Steve Naylor. So I venture to suggest the CEO do not care either. They will not replace the frame header. No idea what I can do now.

Excellent product and service
The website was easy to navigate, full of useful information and with a comprehensive range of competitively priced doors and glazing.
After placing my orderI received emails to let me know how things were progressing but I was not bombarded with unneccesary messages.
I was contacted to arrange delivery - their initial estimate of the time from order to delivery was very accurate. The door arrived on the day arranged within the time slot arranged - the delivery driver was very courteous, friendly and helpful.
The door itself is of excellent quality and finish.
Will certainly re-order with Door Deals in the future and will recommend without reservation.
