Took my car to the Coldstream Mercedes dealership and was pleased I had. I needed to solve an issue with the car after both the RAC and another garage were unable to fix the problem. I can't recommend this dealership enough in particular Drew. As soon as I spoke with him I was confident my car is the right place. It was actually because of this experience I decided to purchase our next family car with them. Thanks again Drew

Had a very disappointing experience. We bought our car from Easternwestern and have had it serviced with them for the last 6 years. At our major service recently they quoted us a repair bill that was half the value of the car! I made noises about taking the car elsewhere for the repairs and they immediately were prepared to bring the bill down by 700 pounds! Had the repairs done at a trusted lcoal garage for a quarter of the price! Feel like it was an attempted rip-off. Iwon't be returning.

Ewan from Western Toyota in Stirling sold me a car and I can't thank him enough. I won't hesitate to refer him on to family and friends.

Western Nissan Straiton, 1 Straiton Road, Edinburgh.

I have now had two separate significant issues with this branch relating to my Nissan X-Trail e-POWER, and on both occasions the experience has been deeply disappointing.

For context, my vehicle was subject to a Nissan safety recall in January 2026. The recurring breakdown issues described below began shortly after that recall was completed.

Most recently, my vehicle broke down three times in the space of two weeks. I paid £165 for a diagnostic and was told the battery needed recharging. The car broke down again. I then paid a further £266 for a full battery replacement and was told the car was fixed and safe to drive. It broke down again, on one occasion on a busy roundabout off the A1 with my three children in the vehicle.

I have spent over 10 hours at the roadside across three breakdowns in two weeks, pushing £1,000 in rental vehicles and failed repair costs, and my car remains unresolved on my driveway.

When I called the branch after the most recent breakdown a sales representative told me the workshop would assist with recovery on Monday and that his manager Peter would call me back to confirm. Peter never called. When I followed up on Monday the workshop refused to assist with recovery of a vehicle they had twice failed to fix, told me recovery would be entirely at my expense, and when I raised my dissatisfaction I was told that if I wasn't happy I would need to escalate the matter.

I have escalated formally in writing to director level within Western Nissan, the wider Eastern Western Motor Group, and Nissan Customer Services directly. Not one person across any of those three organisations has acknowledged or responded to my complaint.

This follows a separate issue in 2023 involving unauthorised work carried out on my vehicle by the same branch.

The Newbridge branch has been excellent throughout. Western Nissan Straiton has let us down badly, twice. I have now referred the matter to the Motors Ombudsman.

Visited Barnetts Toyota in Dundee . Used car Manager is a disgrace , openly talking and being derogatory about customers in an open plan office area . He had not realised the music in the showroom had stopped and we heard everything. Employees openly shouting and swearing at each other in front of customers. Go in for a look at a new car leave feeling like a criminal .

Great professional Service from Western Honda. Recent interacted with Joe Singh at this location potentially to purchase a Honda Jazz . Joe the Sales Rep’ was very helpful indeed throughout. Visited the premises in person after a long journey. All staff here were very professional and knowledgeable. Joe Singh in particular.
Unfortunately I did not purchase due to other matters but Customer Service was 5 star and really appreciated the Service. Well done A pleasure to deal with this dealership having experienced some rather terrible service from elsewhere. Thank you Joe Singh . A real pleasure to have met you Sir !!!!

Extremely disappointing experience with Western Volkswagen Edinburgh.

I had one service remaining on my VW van service plan and was advised to book it in before the finance agreement ended. Following that advice, I arranged the service well in advance.

After driving 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Newbridge dealership, I was informed on arrival that the van servicing operation had moved to Broxburn. At no point was I notified of this change before travelling.

To make matters worse, I was then told there was no record of my service plan. Rather than attempting to help resolve the issue, the staff showed very little interest and offered virtually no assistance. The lack of customer care was incredibly frustrating, especially after taking time out of my day and travelling such a distance.

Unfortunately, this is not my first poor experience with Western Volkswagen. On a previous visit, the van had a new headlight fitted, but the bulb had not been connected correctly. A basic quality check should have identified this before the vehicle was returned.

This is now the second time I have experienced poor service and a lack of attention to detail. Based on my experiences, I will not be returning and would not recommend this dealership to others.

Stirling Audi. Had lots of discussion with Ansar Zaman, one of their sales team as considered an Audi SQ5 they had in stock. Provided clear video of car in advance and offered, at my request, various finance options. Came in and met us on his day off when we drove a round trip of over 160 miles to view it. Unfortunately, through no fault of his, we did not progress the final purchase. A professional member of their sales team, honest and open and understood our reasons for not purchasing it. Respectful and polite, a credit to the company. 5 star service from Ansar!

5 stars to the Servicing team at Edinburgh Audi. I want to thank Amy for her help getting my Audi S3 back on the road after a coolant problem. Amy kept me fully updated on my repair which was done promptly and to a reasonable price

I used the Car Deal Warehouse in Perth to purchase my Audi TT. Tara Wilson was so helpful and really easy to deal with from the start. I enquired on the Monday night and had the car delivered by Friday. She kept me updated the whole way through and made everything really straightforward. Would 100% recommend!

bought used car, whilst car is generally ok, the whole purchase experience less than satisfactory.
I should have backed out of the transaction when hit with the previously undisclosed purchase admin fee!
The handover was poor; the car was mis described regarding the service history & future settings.
I should have been less compliant when asked not to complete the Volkswagen satisfaction survey UNLESS I was prepared to give perfect 10 scores in each category!
The general manager delegated (abdicated) responsibility for my complaint to sales manager - his communication skills are restricted to speaking & has no interest in listening or comprehending.
The aftersales staff neglect tasks in services and their computer systems are unable to communicate effectively with the manufacturer, so service histories are not correctly recorded. The Company are fully aware of the issues, but do NOTHING to ensure that corrections are made.
Overall, an unsatisfactory experience ... I would certainly avoid the Volkswagen sites and if this is an indicator of general standards, the whole group.

Bought a car from Barnetts Honda in Dundee. Salesman was a liar and agreed a deal and reneged when it was too late to source a vehicle elsewhere. Basically called me a liar but would not produce the recorded calls that would have made it clear. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a customer. Avoid this group in its entirety at all costs. Zero integrity and everything that is wrong with the motor trade today. I will be lodging complaints with the ICO and FCA regarding their business practices.

Purchased car only to discover the bonnet was a different shade than the rest of the vehicle and the aircon was not working. This despite asking specifically for a video of car and whether there were any paintwork/stone chip issues. Garage accepted it back under 30 day policy but not a sorry nor any compensation for the inconvenience. Until the car was collected I was without a vehicle for over a week and had filled the car with petrol. No compensation for petrol used or left in vehicle. Either incompetence or duplicity on part of dealership. Dealership was Car Deal Warehouse Glasgow/ Lexus Glasgow. Had to harangue them for a refund despite the V5 being back in their possession and the vehicle returned. Over you like a rash prior to purchase, invisible when you try to complain. Wish I had never dealt with them and advise everyone to stay well clear.

Bought a beautiful qashqai from Charlie Sanderson at Dunfermline Nissan who was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Guided me gently through the whole process and was extremely helpful when pressed to give detailed knowledge on the buying of the vehicle. Feel confident that this excellent service will continue. Highly recommend.

Picked up our new 26 Reg Qashqai Tekna today. Thank you to Will MacConnachie at Western Nissan Newbridge for his excellent service and professionalism and making us feel special. Will goes above and beyond in helping us with our new car. His knowledge especially the Qashqai is exceptional and it is a pleasure to do business with him, He is a brilliant asset to Western Nissan Newbridge.

I worked for the Eastern Western Motor Group for just under a year at the Honda dealership in Edinburgh and you should:
1. avoid this Honda dealership at all cost;
2.maybe avoid dealing with any dealership which this com pamny operates; and
3. under no circumstance work for this company.

From working at this company as a sales executive here is what I found:
A. attitude to customer includes: (i) lying to customers with a view to ripping them off to achieve sales targets: (ii) racism and sexist attitudes to customers;
B. extreme bullying in the work place with no set procedures;
C. when the new rules for disclosing commission was intorduced at the end of 2024 they defrauded a whole FCA audit and whe it was reported they did nothing about it; and
D. on a positive note they do have lovely garages and the cars they sell are mostly of a good quality (PITY ABOUT THE ABOVE THOUGH).

As I mention above I worked for this company and you really should avoid the Honda garage at Fort Kinnaird and by no means work for the company as a whole.

I called Mercedes Edinburgh fort Kinnaird as I saw there advertising for a new c class as I have purchased my last two Mercedes from this dealership the deal was £2498 deposit and £399 per month over 48 months when i called I told the salesman to order me one he then and he asked me to send him a email of the deal which i did he then called me back and told me that it was a administrative mistake and they couldn’t do that deal I asked him to get his manager to call me witch he did I asked him if there was any way we could do a deal and he said he would do a extra £250 because I was a existing customer I didn’t think this was good enough as it was costing me £25 a month extra I then asked him to take my name off his companies computer and not to contact me and he told me it would be a pleasure to do that in my opinion very bad attitude and customer service
