A truly wonderful insurance company
Just renewed our policy, which prompted me to review Ecclesiastical again. They are so helpful with providing guides and advice and there is always someone kind and helpful at the end of the phone when we have questions.
Happily, we didn't need to claim this year, but in the past when we have done, they've been incredibly helpful and fair.

Easy to renew with a choice of…
Easy to renew with a choice of different means- online, phone etc. Employees are always helpful on the phone. Feel comfortable with a company I've used for some time and would recommend you to new clergy.

Ignorant and unresponsive.

My policy was transferred by my landlord to this group.
The policy cost tripled and insured amount fell. As a result, I called to cancel the policy immediately.
Lady I spoke to assured me it was closed down and I would receive a letter in the post confirming this. I asked for an email confirmation but was told this was not their policy.
Again, I was reassured it was closed and to await letter confirmation.
This did not happen.
I phoned selecting option 2 for customer services but got passed to the claim department which is option 3. Had to go through the automated message again for the same problem to happen again.
Decided to email instead and again got no response.
I am now trying to phone for a 4th time and they are refusing to answer the call (42 mins). Dreadful company who cannot be trusted to protect your assets.
Avoid this company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We have contacted URIS, the administrator of tenants' contents insurance and they have confirmed to us your policy was cancelled/lapsed on 11/03/2026. A letter was sent to you confirming this on the same day, we're sorry you didn't receive this.
The URIS Team have tried to contact you by phone over the last few days but unfortunately have not been able to reach you. They have sent an email which includes more details, please check your inbox. If you haven’t seen it yet, it might be worth checking your spam or junk folder too.
