I had a very disappointing eDisappointed with Customer Service and Warranty Handlingxperience…

I had a very disappointing experience with Edel-Optics. I purchased a pair of glasses for my child, and the frame broke shortly after purchase. Our certified optometrist confirmed that the breakage was due to a manufacturing defect, not misuse or external force.

Despite providing a confirmation letter from the optometrist, Edel-Optics refused to honor the warranty, claiming without evidence that the defect was caused by mishandling. We have been ignored and treated with a lack of respect even after requesting a prompt resolution.

We plan to contact the Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband and other consumer protection authorities across Europe to defend our rights.

It is unacceptable for a company to treat its customers this way, especially when dealing with essential health products for children. I strongly advise avoiding this retailer until they improve their customer service and warranty practices.

After carefully reviewing your claim with our opticians, we've concluded that the damage to the frame appears to be due to excessive force during handling or adjustment, rather than a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, this type of damage isn't covered under our warranty.
We understand this isn't the resolution you were hoping for, but we must follow our warranty guidelines. We recommend contacting the optician who handled the fitting, as they may have insurance for such situations.

Was realy sceptic , until i got my order...sooner than expected

Was realy sceptic about fraud ,and fake product but my opinion changed after i got my shipment.
I ordered with UPS Express Saver because it was written that i get in 2 days.
I made the order on 22.07.2024 at 15:59 and the processing started instantly, i didnt expected so quick delivery as today i got my shipment 24.07.2024
at 9:29.
So it was extremely fast as it comes from germany to romania.
The product is absolutely genuine and with all the accessories from box with seriall labels and genuine ferrari/rb logo ,made by quality mat. the storing case is also made from soft touch leatherlike material (probably leather) ,with original embossed RB logo on it ,the inside is made from very soft touch smooth fabric like material also didnt leave any debris like fake ones and the leather material is just very soft again in comparation with fake ones are more firm ,sturdy and the rb logo isnt embossed just printed, cleaning cloth with ferrari logo ,cert.of authenticity , user manual . I checked the whole sunglusses but its realy a v.h.quality RayBan product ,Polarized- you can notice it in lightrays , the rayban /ferrari logo on the lenses are genuine ,not like on fake ones, (fake ones can have it quite nice logo too) ,the temples are made from carbonfiber with id numbers of size/model/made by and the rubbered tip with embossed rayban logo,also outside the temples are the separated piece of rayban /ferrari logos sticked.
Its an interesting thing that when you close the temples thay didnt touch with tips the inner side of the lenses , things which is friustrating on fake ones usualy.The frame is made very precise and you can seee the quality of the production its H.Q.
So im happy that i finally decided to try this company . My opinion is a trust to edel-optics.ro (.de). I also contacted 3 times the custommer support by phone before my order for information , and all three times i could talk very quick with an agent , which tells me that even in case of ups express saver order i will probably have delay of about 2 days because of busy period, even that i got less than 2 days in total :).
I could track on website and on ups site the shipment status right after the order and refreshed instantly even after a couple of minutes it was refreshing to new statuses , finally after few hours departed to airplane the shipment ,so everything it was responsive and abowe my expectation .
One scary behaviour it was at the order state when i wanted to choose Paypal payment method it gave me constantly an unexpected error so i was realy aware of a probable fraud , finally i opted for credit card payment which was succeeding at first.
So if someone hasitate to trust or not i can offer my good review.
About the proofness of genuinuty ?
If this product is Fake , then there's no Original one made Yet :D

As telephonically mentioned, the frame can be adjusted with an optician locally at no extra costs, or sent back for replacement. Any issues with the order must be reported right after delivery, by phone or online, so we can gladly take action.

No delivery, no refund, just lies

Insolvency. BEWARE - no refunds

I finaly got my money back, NOT thanks to edel-optics. As someone else suggested, I submitted a chargeback dispute using my bank (revolut), and after some time they managed to have my money returned. I urge anyone in this situation to contact their bank.

ok, let me clarify their answer, which is just as missleading as their whole attitude was since the day I ordered.
Up until recently, no information about getting the refund was available on the link they are mentioning. Also, the email they mention to have sent me was from 2 months ago, when our latest agreed delivery date expired. At that time, there were no information in their help center other that the insolvency proceedings were not over, and nothing could be done until that happened (first half of April, they claimed). Discussed with them again on the 15th of april, the proceedings were still on going. In both of these emails, they mention that when the proceedings are over, they will contact me. They never contacted me, and now, if I want to even have a chance at refund, THEY SAY I HAVE TO PAY 22 EURO because I am apparently too late for the free claim, which expired on the 10th of may.

În ceea ce privește rambursarea, dorim să oferim o actualizare cu privire la situația noastră actuală.

În ciuda poziției noastre puternice pe piață și a unei echipe foarte motivate, în prezent nu avem resursele financiare pentru a construi în mod independent o ofertă modernă Omni-Channel. Prin urmare, am inițiat procedura de insolvență. Ca parte a acestui proces, ne propunem să restructurăm Edel-Optics și să continuăm operațiunile cu asistența unor noi investitori cât mai repede posibil.

Din același motiv, momentan nu putem procesa rambursări pentru plățile efectuate înainte de 23 februarie 2024.*

Numai după deschiderea procedurii de insolvență, la administratorul insolvenței, va fi posibilă înregistrarea creanțelor restante în registrul de insolvență.

Este de așteptat să aibă loc la începutul lunii aprilie, dar este supus aprobării finale și instrucțiunilor instanței.

La finalizarea procedurii de insolvență, te vom contacta și îți vom oferi aici formularul de înregistrare a revendicării rambursului restant.

There is that phrase in the email that clearly states "La finalizarea procedurii de insolvență, te vom contacta....." which translates to "Upon completion of the insolvency procedure, we will contact you....."

That same expression was used in the email dating 15th of April, when no updates where yet available on any of those links. Since then, no communication from them.

If this is not an obviously missleading attitude on their part, I don't know what is.

Please beware and please check their .com trustpilot page where there are a lot of other people who have been robbed of their money.

I have been waiting for 5 months, contacted them multiple times in this span, they always responded promptly but, apparently, not truthfully.
They did offer to give me back the money back in the beggining..the fact that I believed their lies about the manufacturer delaying orders and whatnot and choose to wait longer is on me, but as I come to understand from other reviews I am reading (on their .com trustpilot page), that would not have changed anything since apparently they just delayed reimbursements until insolvency anyway.
The last time I contacted them to ask if they could answer more concretely about when should i expect the delivery, they said 3-5weeks. That was 4 weeks ago, so I suppose they did deliver on that promise. Not the order, but the email (someone pasted its contents further down) basically saying not only the order but also the reimbursement is off the table for now.

At this point, I don't even want eyeglasses anymore, at least i have an excuse to not see manure coming my way. The money back I do need though.

I will return with updates as the situation unfolds.

Am comandat și platit o pereche de rame tocmai din luna decembrie , și după numeroase amânări m am trezit că compania a intrat în insolventa , am rămas și fără bani și fără produs .Voi sesiza protectia consumatorului și voi sesiza toate organele competente și voi contacta și un avocat.Nu se poate așa ceva și nu accept că firma sa fie tot activa și să vândă produse.

No refund received

I have returned a product that they confirmed that they had received and it has been way over a month since they have been promising they will make the refund and still haven’t.
They keep sending the same email and talking to them on the phone is no help either because they keep telling me that management has to make the refund and they can’t do anything about it and I just have to wait and insist with my request. Although it is legally a problem that they do not respect the policies, there is nothing to be done to make sure i will get refunded!

înțelegem cât de dezamăgitoare și frustrantă este această situație.

Deși am încercat din răsputeri să evităm insolvența, din păcate, aceasta nu s-a putut evita, așa cum am fost informați luna aceasta.

Din cauza procesiunilor de insolvență, din păcate, nu putem să rambursam, să retrimitem bunurile returnate sau să oferim articole din stoc ca înlocuire a rambursării. Acestea sunt instrucțiunile administratorului nostru provizoriu de insolvență și nu pot fi făcute excepții.

Suntem în continuarea activi online, deoarece administratorul nostru provizoriu de insolvență se află în prezent în discuții cu potențiale părți interesate care iau în considerare o preluare a companiei. Cu toate acestea, este un proces complex care necesită timp pentru a se finaliza pe deplin.

Pe parcursul acestui proces, scopul nostru este să oferim în continuare servicii de încredere. De la 23 februarie 2024, toate comenzile vor fi procesate și expediate ca de obicei. Asiguram respectarea tuturor regulilor si reglementarilor legale.

Regretăm profund aceste circumstanțe și mulțumim pentru înțelegere în această perioadă dificilă.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever! More than one month away since I my placed my order, the order has not arrived yet and they will not give me my money back. We exchanged more than 20 emails, no solution to the problem. I would never recommend!
