Terrible company, can't believe such a company exists in Dubai. Expensive, and difficult to contact customer support. If you live out side Dubai you can't do business with them. I will never invest in property that has any thing to do with Empower.
Empower profitable line of business that consists of stealing by system their foreigner customers
Empower has created a miserable line of business, very profitable for them, consisting of stealing the money of the foreign customers that leave UAE, since they only give 3 alternatives of recovering the bail refunds. First one is in cash, the second one through a check, requiring both methods to be obtained the payment in never less than 30 days and in person and the third one to be compensated against the consumption of another Empower service contract, rejecting by system to pay back their debts through a bank transaction like all the rest of utilities in the whole world.
It is the kind of scamming and abusing practice applied that let’s their foreigner customers absolutely unprotected from being abused and unfairly stolen by a scamming organization called Empower.

It’s my mistake that I haven’t checked my billing transaction which was cancelled Aed 1024 and I have login my another email so I didn’t noticed. Suddenly when they disconnected the line I was shocked and came to check my bills. I agreed that it’s my negligence but I paid all the due amount including Oct bills immediately ones I know. They disconnected the AC around 12 pm. They didn’t mentioned any disconnect charges at that time. Till night they didn’t reconnected. I found there is a mgs including charges. I login my account and found 1050 is the disconnect charges. I paid that as well. It’s 12:30 afternoon today almost 24 hrs still they didn’t reconnect. When I call customer care she said it will be connect around 5 pm.
How you can let someone to stay without AC for more than 24 hrs, that also in UAE? Very worst service I had ever experienced. You don’t care about customers all you care is about only your payment. I am using your service and I have to pay my bills on time that’s my responsibility but to provide quality service is your responsibility and you have to closely see to improve your reconnection service ones the payment is done it should be connect within 2 hrs.

I had my supply cut off with no notice ! I was given until 8th November to pay a bill then found out i'd forgotten to pay the previous months bill, which I paid straight away, I called them and it took me 2 hrs until i got through to someone, if I'm allowed to put the agents name it's ilibeth Salvador, she was the person that dealt with me and whilst she was professional her stance was until you pay the outstanding amount and reconnection charge your supply will remain disconnected, which I can understand but they give no warning that this is going to happen, they do it then tell you, which is grossly unprofessional . I sent all the text messages I received from them in a separate email showing that I hadn't received any notification whatsover also demanding that my supply be connected straight away, of course they close at 3.30 conveniently and then they send me an email. Saying they had sent me notices.
As per our company rules, bills must be paid on monthly basis and before the due date mentioned on each bill. Payment delay will lead for service interruption and accordingly disconnection penalty of AED1,050.00 will be charged to the account after serving the account with the disconnection notice.
When was I served the disconnection notice?, on the actual day. I have also asked them 2 months ago to alter my payment date to be in line with my salary date of the beginning of the month to which they have ignored.
I'm sorry but I will be taking this further

The worst ever service! I just didn’t pay 442 AED and that’s why they charged me 1000 AED as charging fees for disconnection even there is deposit as 1000 AED already on my account. I would never ever again rent apartments if provider will be empower

They disconnect the AC even after payment, then 2 hours later add a charge of 1,050AED. Inhumane to disconnect in this heat & humidity, plus their website full of issues so trying to pay can be hard. Customer service extremely unhelpful

Hi guys empower billing is the worst company ever,I am in india since 10th august & my house is locked.
I have received bill of 500 aed & customer service is not giving me information about the same.
I have to pay 160 aed to check meter & need to pay bill full.
Please don’t take any flat which has empower connection.

Had bad experience during AC repair at my apartment. Asked for temp disconnect & reconnect service for repair work: rubbish call-center, no option to speak to anyone, website is totally years behind what we expect from Dubai. Had to use personal connections and requests to get job done. They deserve a ZERO rating

After paying all the reconnection fees and all the amount has been cleared I have waited 1 whole day 24 hours just for them to reconnect the line as they said I made a payment after working hours which is 3:30pm… common Empower , this country is Europe that you can stay without AC , after paying all the dues , reconnection must be automated, which era you are “ in old age ? “ and yet we call Dubai as advanced Country ?
Too expensive
I have 3 bedroom flat, we are using the AC for only 10-12 hours per day , even we tried to save ,my bill still 1,900.. What more if we use for 24 hours, i might pay 3,000 plus.. though it's extremely hot, we can't use the AC for 24 hours...what a shamed!

Empower is the worse scam ever
Empower is the worse scam ever. I am away travelling since 26th of June. And they sent a bill for July which is much higher than June bill when the property is lying vacant. It’s ridiculous. Top of that they are arguing on email saying I need to pay an extra 160 if I want to get meter checked. Robbing without any shame!!!! Disgusting

The worst service ever. I made my application 1 week ago and still I have no cooling system in my house and the call center is always guiding you to the recording system. Nobody replies to my emails.

Worst company ever. They have turned off our air condition in Dubai for five days now in the Dubai summer heat and I have 2 kids. They sent the bill to th wrong email address( our landlord did not receive it either ). Then they delivered a notice on the door after 9 am on Thursday. My husband saw the note at 11 am and paid it 11:18 and Called them( no answer ) and wrote to them telling them not to turn the aircondition off and that the bill was paid. At 3 pm we come home after being out and the aircondition is off. We tried calling but offices closed at 3 pm. Then they wrote an answer to my husbands written request that the payment came in 11:18 and that they turned off the aircon at 10:48 so they gave less than 2 house notice from delivering the unpaid notice to turning it off on a weekday when even most people are at work. I can’t understand that this is allowed in a place like Dubai with the heat in the summer. Friday morning my husband went to empower when they opened at 7:30 to sort it out.Our landlord company also went to get it sorted out. They said the couldn’t turn the aircon on again without an email from the email address the bill was sent to. We tried explaining we don’t know where you sent it cause we didn’t get the bill. They closed their offices at 12 Friday and didn’t open them until Monday again. So we’ve now been without aircon for more than 4 days. Also they want 2000 aed ($600) to turn the aircon back on! Worst company ever.

Very poor service too much bills even this is second time when I tried to cancel the connection last one and half months they told me landlord NOC three time I submitted but again and again they are asking and now they told me send us owner passport copy and signature page we wana match signature tell me this is Bank so you are going to give cash someone even when ever i maked eajari they are not asking this kind of questions why why if connection is under my name and i am resident of Dubai why they are asking owner NOC why they are not asking bigning because that time they earning money on cancellation why ???
