I have been using Debenhams for a while now and they have really shown that there is no comfort buying from known branded companies. They have a stated a refund has been sent to my PayPal account which it hasn’t.
I have contacted them on numerous occasions via what’s app and email.
Only to be told the same thing.
Only now to be told; It’s over 30 days so they will no longer investigate.
PayPal has said the same.
So they have left me with a PayPal bill for items that have been returned.
What a scam!
Disappointed to say the least.
There is no store to try on items so you have to buy them before you try them. It’s ridiculous that I have to fight for £121.50 when the refund was supposedly sent a month ago.

I paid extra for quick delivery (within 4 working days) and I wasn't even told it had been sent for over a week. The courier are actually saying they're still waiting for it so I don't know if it's even been sent at all yet. It's now late for my niece's birthday

I had a delivery yesterday, and have a couple of problems, and no matter how hard i try i cannot get amy response from their team of so called suport staff, dissapointed and frustrated to say the least.....

My actual rating is NO stars but this site doesn't allow.

I ordered a dress, paid for fast delivery within 2 working days. It arrived 4 working days later. Customer "service" don't respond to emails. I am still awaiting a refund for my return but they won't refund my postage.
DONT buy from them!

Never in my life, I was so disappointed with my purchase. I still cannot believe they sold me used boots with multiple wearing marks, scratches and dirty all around, customer service is extremely poor, absolutely useless and disgusting. Doesn’t take responsibility. Shame on you.

I recently ordered perfume from Debenhams as a present for someone. It was very late in arriving and so I had had to buy something else. When it did arrive, the corners of the box were damaged and so it would have been in a poor condition to give anyway. When I went to return it, I was told it was a non-returnable item. £30 wasted as it’s not something I would wear. Very disappointed in Debenhams.

What a swizz. Getting charged £1.99 for 'delivery protection'. The online selling rules state that the ownership of delivery responsibility rests with the seller until the product corectly delivered. We are paying for their responsibility.

So very, very bad! No chance of getting a refund as the portal doesn’t work and there is no customer service - just an AI bot that is useless. I’m taking the matter up with my credit card provider! Please avoid!

Awful, never use them again. Still waiting for refund after 5weeks. No contact number, only AI and customer service email which don’t reply. Not worth the stress.

Told it was processed on 24th October its now 7th November and ive received nothing this is theft now

Do not order from this company unless you are sure you won’t return .I placed an order and 5 minutes later asked to cancel they said no the item was on its way .I returned straight away on the 23rd of Oct they had refunded me today the 6th November I still have not received a refund and cannot get old of any one to chase up

OMG! Never in all the years that I have been buying online have I came across the worse returns process with this company. This is absolutely horrendous and I will never ever buy again from them . I want to return two items but I can’t it is so difficult. DUX045723065.

Terrible !! Been trying to obtain a returns label for 2 days. Their returns portal does not work. Will not recognise my order number. Chat rooms keep saying someone will contact me. Still waiting !!!

Unfortunately can't give no stars, arranging a return and ticked gift card in error no option to change back to refund to card , tried cancelling return and starting again but no joy, tried emailing and whats app still waiting for a reply 4 days later will return goods feel like Ive been scammed

This company deserve no stars.......After receiving my items- which were not as described I tried to return, but I have no way of doing so, there is no returns form enclosed and try to do it on line, it wont let you as it states to use the forms enclosed in your parcel. their customer service lines are all AI, which come out with the same stuff no matter how you word it. It is clear they are no longer bothered about their brand. I am now stuck with items that are no good. Seriously avoid- this company deserves to go out of business and sooner the better.

if i could give a no stars i would - what a joke! ordered item, they sent it wrong, after literally days of waiting for a reply, which wasn't worth getting ! i was asked to send back.......not collection service available...its 2025 people! come on...tried to get hold 'customer service' that's false advertising ...no service at all, customers they simply don't care about....repeated the same 20 questions before getting the same answer ...i now have to wait a further 3 weeks for either a refund or replacement of the correct item...of which i have absolutely no faith in getting.......debenhams, hold your head in shame!

Placed an order for several items all of which were sent out separately instead of one package , three weeks later I’m still waiting on two of the items being delivered . Will not be using again

This was the last time I'm ordering because the orders come very very late no matter if it's express delivery and you pay more.

Debenhams is being run by cowboys, do not touch it. I have not received a refund for two dresses i returned weeks ago. I keep getting fobbed off. This is not the old Debenhams, customer service is utterly terrible. Do not buy anything from this shop.

I would give no stars if I could. Beware payment protection is automatically added. I didn’t realise and placed the order, they wouldn’t refund it as they said you have to tick the box but this is not true, the box is already ticked. My item was not received then they emailed to say it had been refunded! Despite me never receiving it, they only refunded the item not the delivery even though it was never delivered. Then you can’t get hold of anyone by phone, the chat is via AI which is useless. All round appalling, avoid at all costs
