Customer service was excellent, they allowed us enough time to check the vehicle answered all questions we asked, after that we went on test drive. The car drove well as expected to be. Few bodywork issues which you can expect as it old car, with age not a brand new car and for the price we paid. Overall really good experience. Thanks fame cars ltd. Recommended.

I purchased a VW beetle for 7k on March 16th, by the 25th the car had broken down. I got a local mechanic to diagnose the fault and it came back with a throttle body code which the mechanic suggested had already been deleted therefore was a known fault at point of sale. I would like to point out that the car broke down after NINE DAYS. I was still within the standard 30 day warranty etc therefore well within my rights to get it sorted free of charge. I rang the garage and explained the situation and from day dot have had nothing but aggro and the most disgusting customer service I have ever experienced in my life. The garage first tried to charge me £140 to recover the car and said they will repair it for free out of goodwill(!) They claimed that because I am using the car for work I no longer am within my rights, I would like to point out this car was bought in full and nothing was signed to say what the car would be used for. They quickly changed their tune when I mentioned the motor ombudsman and reporting them to yes we will pick the car up for free and fix it free of charge.

The day of repair is Friday after hearing nothing on Thursday. I messaged at 1pm asking for an update and was told I’ll be messaged when the car is sorted. 5:30 came round so I messaged to ask and all of a sudden the car was ready. I asked for a phone call to clarify what had been fixed and I was told by one of their staff members she didn’t know but then all of a sudden she said the rev pedal. I said I thought it was the throttle body, the boss then snatches the phone shouting saying we’ve done this for you for free and you’re still complaining as if they had did me a favour fixing THEIR mistake. He wouldn’t even let me get a word in edge ways. He then said you’re not getting the car and you’re not getting your money back either so you can go to court.

This is a warning to everyone buying a new car AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS. I am now out 7k and I no longer am in possession of the car as they are refusing to give it back despite having the new keeper slip and the receipt. Unless you want to be completely mugged off and disrespected I would avoid these dodgy people at all costs!!!! I will be taking this further and reporting these people to the motor ombudsman but please do not give these people your money unless you want the aggro and stress that I have had to deal with over the last week. They were so quick to take our money but when it came to fixing THEIR problems they did not wanna communicate and the service was absolutely appalling throughout the whole experience. It really has drained me, I’ve had no apology, no offer of a courtesy car and not one bit of help or compassion from these people, they even had the nerve to be so arrogant to say give us the car back and we will resell it! At this moment in time I am 7k out of pocket and I do not have the car, it has been withheld by these people. I will be taking this as high as possible and I would appreciate any advice as this experience has been the worst car experience I have ever had in my life to the point of tears.

Vile Company bought a car from them 21 days later engine has blown up. Dropped car back since then No contact. Now going to small claims.
Keep well away. This company then demanded
£1,000.00 to put the car right. Luckily enough I went to my Bank, as advised by Citizens Advice. They then got my money back.

Please avoid using them , i went in Birmingham to their place i see 2 cars bmw q2 and seat altea . i scan with OBd2 the bmw problem woth PDf , i bought seat altea from them 5 days drive and the car needed clutch. I call them for the car they dont cover that . even if they say you have warranty , they lie , no warranty at all. Scam avoid

Unfortunately after a car fire I was desperate to source another car - otherwise I probably would have walked away mid viewing based on the none existent customer service.
Refused to allow me to test drive more than one - huge inconvenience for them despite me looking at spending £6500+?
Presented me with paperwork saying discs and break pads changed -
I’m just about to fork out on rear brakes that are currently metal on metal…. So definitely we’re not changed.
In addition, following a service at my local garage, they identified car has no prop shaft yet was sold as 4x4…
Still waiting on log book 7 weeks after purchase.

Avoid with all cost. They said you have 3 months warranty when you buy from them but then they said you have to pay extra.

There practices are illegal but when they have your money, you have no choice but to follow what they say. Sold me a car which lost all power on the drive home from the dealer. They diagnosed and fixed the problem but I didn't want the car back. We were stuck in Coventry for the evening and basically stranded with my wife and 4 year old.

Then they have the balls to deduct £200 from my refund because we didn't keep the car. Honestly the worst experience I have had buying anything in life and these are the people that give Birmingham a bad reputation. I am in the process of taking legal action to recoup my £200 plus further compensation for the experience and illegal practices

They are not the best, but they are not the worst. I chose to buy online and have the car delivered. So my fault some bodywork not perfect but the cars 10years and big mileage. But it was delivered quickly and very polite guy. Having to wait for log book but pleased with deal running well. Thanks Ali. John kimber peogout2008

awful. very dodgy. I know it's hard to find any second hand car dealers these days that are honest - but truly avoid these guys, they are cowboys. read the reviews that are already on auto trader - and be warned! they are very cagey about details. soon as you start digging asking questions they will fob you off. they want to be able to FLOG cars, not sell them. they know theyre stuff is overpriced and mostly faulty, but they wont tell you you will have to find out the hard way (after you've driven it away). dont be fooled by the glossy pics. move on - find another garage -DONT use this one. it will hit you in the pocket hard.
