Very efficient ordering and delivery. The mats and futon are very comfortable.

I was sleeping on a soft mattress on an electric adjustable bed when I got a bulging disc in my lower back. Even with physio I was in pain each morning. The monk roll has allowed me to continue sleep comfortably for the first time since my injury. Highly recommended both the mattress and the futon247. Thanks to Peter for his help.

Sad to write this review. Was very excited to order a mattress from here. The customer service was wonderful and even sorted out room delivery and assembly for me as I live alone and with a pain condition. I was very grateful.

Sadly the mattress was way too soft for me despite labelled medium, but this could be due to it being a different type of mattress to what I am used to. I figured id have it in the spare room. I just flipped it every few weeks. I got it in October and by December the seam had completely ripped despite literally not being used. I messaged and got told id have a response sorting this out after Christmas. Then nothing happened. I emailed another two times and still nothing, 7 months later.

It was nearly 1k and I am on disability and it is now completely useless. Sadly I would advise not to go with this company.

Outstanding. I went for the Monk Futon Roll. Has been over a month now and my sleep is fantastic. It is the comfiest bed I've ever experienced. I sleep on it every night with normal double bedding. It is very firm but soft, and my back has never felt better. I did a lot of research and this seems to be the best quality double futon on the uk market in terms of quality and price. I had some questions when I bought it and I immediately got a call back from someone friendly, who wasn't pushy, with an excellent knowledge of the products. He didn't try and upsell me, he listened to my situation and helped me work out what would work best, and disuaded me from an expensive add-on that would've been unnecessary. Amazing value, I won't often buy a futon, but when I do I'll be returning here. I'll probably never return to a conventional bed.

The quality of the futon mattresses and actual use of natural products (some claim this but arent) and the personal contact with Peter, especially in relation to a postage issue was very reassuring. Prompt reply. Great to be able to support a uk made product and independent company.

I was searching around for where to buy a high qualify futon. When it arrived, it was amazing quality, I was honestly pleasantly surprised.
I was a slight hassle and wanted to swap my futon for a thinner one as I originally ordered the extra layered one (5layers). Peter was amazingly helpful with arranging this for me (Thank you so much). I would absolutely recommend this company, I use my futon every night and sleep soundly on a firmer mattress. It's also honestly great value for money, considering how expensive some mattress can be.

A really great handmade futon mattress made in the UK. They contacted me to arrange a date for delivery and it arrived promptly. I was very happy with the both the futon mattress and customer service. Would recommend to anyone wishing to buy a futon mattress

I ordered a mattress, listed as ‘super king’ size for my super king bed frame.

I browsed several models on their website before picking one. All of their listings on their website used the words ‘standard king’ and ‘super king’ to describe the sizes as standard. I specifically chose a model that had a super king option as not all of them did.

Before ordering I contacted the company stating my intention to order this model in a super king size and asking some questions. I received replies and confirmation of the order, none of which stated that this model was not available in a super king size.

When the mattress arrived, it was not super king size as I was expecting. I immediately contacted them the day of receiving the order to explain that I had received a standard king size mattress not the super king I had ordered. After I alerted them to the problem they updated this specific product listing on their website so that it no longer said ‘super king’ size but ‘standard king’ for the mattress I ordered. They refused to accept any responsibility for their mistake, despite having to correct their own listing!

I have returned the mattress to them, and they have received it back and refunded me, but charged me £40 for the return! I should not be penalised and charged £40 for an error on their website.

This situation has caused me a lot of stress as I had to order a new mattress at very short notice and we actually ended up without one at all for a few days as we’d already waited for this one to be manufactured and delivered and then had a similar wait for our next one (definitely not ideal whilst pregnant with HG). Really disappointed in this company.

I buy all organic mattresses and ordered my sofa futon from another similar company a couple of years ago. Futons 247 have lost a repeat customer over this as I would avoid this company in future. Failure to take accountability for mistakes is a red flag for me and I would be concerned that if I ordered again I would not get what I was expecting.

*edit* the reply below by Peter has been consistent with his previous generic responses to my emails, ignoring the main points and going off on a tangent. The drop down menu clearly stated super king as did my order confirmation and the emails we exchanged before I even made the purchase. He knows what happened and that this is something they have had to correct on their website but refuses to take any responsibility for this. If he’s saying he doesn’t know what else he could have done, let me be clear - the right and fair thing to do in this situation is to take accountability for your mistakes and refund fully.

This company is great. The quality of the products and the assistance that they offer to guarantee you get what you need or what you are looking for. I do gladly recommend the products of this company.
