I normally do not write reviews but the level of service I have received from Glam Corner was non-existent.
I received an email a few days out from my event saying the dress I ordered was no longer available. I picked another dress and did not hear back from them. I did not receive the dress or any responses to the 5 emails I sent and only received an email the next day after the event saying I could receive a refund. I still haven't received the refund.
Don’t use- order came late, one dress unusable, no customer service at all
Used this service many years ago with good result.
But, I really wish I had of found this site prior to using GlamCorner recently- I would have gone elsewhere.
I ordered a dress and a back up dress for a ball a few days ago.
My order came a day late. One of the two dresses was totally useless- I couldn’t even try it on. The lining was all tangled up inside and I couldn’t untangle it despite spending an hour trying to do so. I picked that particular dress for the event and was so disappointed. Waste of money ordering a second dress that I couldn’t even try on, and so much for a 4 night rental when it was late.
When I tried to follow up the status of my order when order date passed.. there was non existent customer service. I sent an online enquiry with request for help, no response. I tried to use the chat bot- useless. I finally found a phone number for the ‘happiness team’ and no pick up- had to leave a message. Which I did, for urgent help, and… no response. (At a certain point, I was getting concerned I’d been scammed)..
This service isn’t cheap. I chose it, because I thought it would save me stress, time and trips out with my multiple small children to try and buy/rent dresses.
Instead, I experienced more stress and inconvenience.
Not worth the money and stress. Go elsewhere!!

Rapid decline in quality of clothes and service
I am a legacy monthly member of Glamcorner and have been for many years. Today I have once again had to contact GC as I placed an order a week ago.... and still have not even recieved a dispatch notification. I needed these items for this weekend - this is really really poor form on the part of GC as it leaves people without options. These sort of delays are happening more and more often. Items are also very frequently not available even though you chose them on the app and place an order - you very often get an email to say item is not longer available and to choose other replacement styles. This once again causes even more delays with the ordering and delivery process. Hardly any new items are ever added to the membership pool....all designer items(few that there are) are old and have been worn for years - I know this as I have been a member of GC for many years.... the same items are being recycled over and over again regardless of being worn out and often not even good enough to wear. All reviews on membership items on the site are on average 3-4 years old....as that's how long most of these items have been in circulation. No proper designer items such as Camilla have been added to the membership pool in years and even the old items are frequently removed from the pool and sold on ebay by Glamcorner without replacing it with any new items. It is almost like GC does not have any interest in the original members that helped GC get to where it is now. It seems as if it is a conscience effort to try and phase out the original membership plans....sad state of things. The service of GC has declined progressively in the past 18 months, as have the variety & quality of clothes. I loved the concept of sustainable fashion and have been a member of Glamcorner for many many years. Unfortunately though - now it just not worth it by any standards. I am not sure what is happening with the company - but there has been a major negative shift in how this company operates. Another long time member who has no choice but to leave.

Have used GlamCorner for four years, but no more
Have used GlamCorner for four years, hiring 4 dresses every December end of work year event, so I have a choice depending on weather, event theme, etc. Noticed a decline in brands and dresses, but still booked my usual 4 dresses. Then after booking and payment, received an email saying GlamCorner would required further verification, given I was doing a "high value" order and would be sent a text message to verify. Never came, but I questioned this anyway and set a response back to Glam Corner, as I read the T&Cs and saw nothing about this, and also questioned why this wouldn't be a part of the checkout process. A phone call to them resulted in leaving a message, so just decided to cancel. Same name, but not the same company. Long term customer now leaving.

Terrible decline
Customer service and quality of items seriously needs an overhaul.
I have been a Glamcorner member for years. Like many other reviewers on here it used to be amazing. Transported in great boxes, packed with an easy return satchel, styles were always pressed, checked over and in general pretty new. The customer service was also A+ - their app capability, their chat service, you could even call and nothing was ever a hassle.
Over the last 18ish months something has happened, everyone is offshore and every single box there's an issue. I put my membership on and off hold as I am a legacy member so my rate is much better than what they are asking now, and when I return each time I hope the errors will be fixed. It never is. The promise they are taking our feedback into consideration... and Ive see no changes.
Chat is a joke; you sit on queue for hours to no response, or when someone comes online the quickly get off, you cant call or email and get a quick response at all, boxes don't get shipped on time meaning you never get your items for events you need them for, items are incorrect, old and overpriced and the newer range is hardly available.
The concept is amazing, and when it works it's truly phenomenal. But overall the current experience is woeful and completely needs a rehaul.
No dress, no refund and no response from the company
I ordered a dress and paid for it. When the day came for the dress to be delivered it never arrived. No explanation given and no refund received. I tried to contact the company but they have no telephone number, just an email contact which is not responded to. Be very weary of this business

Black tie dress
This was my first time renting and the dress turned out to be amazing. It fit perfectly and was delivered to me a few days in advance. Delivery and return process is super simple as well. Cherry on top is you can get an extra dress for just 15$. I actually did end up wearing the style I didn’t originally intend to wear. Highly recommend them.

Save yourself the drama and do not use!
Love the concept of GlamCorner and thought I would put my trust in it and give it a go.. that was a mistake. My event is tomorrow but my item is tracking for a delivery date in two days time, despite the guarantee that it would be here today. The dress will be of zero use to me when it arrives and I now have nothing to wear to a big work event. GlamCorner, you need to seriously reconsider your customer value proposition and rethink your delivery ‘guarantees’ and partners- but it will be too late for this customer. Terrible first impression / experience that I will be sharing with everyone.

Last Minute Outfit Solve
Very last minute rental of a CUE jumpsuit for a disco event. Suited the occasion perfectly. Arrived on time and a beautiful, comfortable style. Only confusing issue was the returns label was addressed to me and the sender “glamcorner” which caused some issues at the post office but the package did eventually arrive to its destination.

Absolutely DREADFUL
Absolutely DREADFUL! Dress was felted (shrunk) to the point it wouldn't fit a child. Completely misleading images. When a return was requested they refused to refund the postage; apparently it is the buyer's fault if they receive an unwearable item of clothing. Buyer Protection Policy states sellers are required to resolve issues when items arrive damaged by offering a FULL refund or a replacement item. Contact the COO of GlamCorner and David Jones. GlamCorner Ebay customer service is dreadful.
Such a shame
Such a shame, they use to be so good! I’ve been a member for the past 2-3 years and I’ve seen such a decline in their dresses and membership clothes. I saw a couple of pieces from Sussan’s and Portmans and thought omg they reached a new low. Modelled photos are now mannequin? How weird. I cancelled as the quality has declined and the nice premium brands were always booked out or very old and dated. Customer service has always been good to me though and always replied promptly so I’m not sure why everyone complained about it. I hope GlamCorner invests a little more money in to the business products as they are sadly losing a loyal customer. I’ll probably hire a one off dress in the future but I won’t go back to Membership if the clothes are like this.

Do not use this service
Do not use this service. My dresses did not arrive on the scheduled day. When I made an enquiry, they did not respond for 24 hours, then did nothing to fix the situation. Despite the order eventually being cancelled, they have continued to harass me with repeated demands that I return the dresses, then late fee notifications. I have now been told that debt recovery has been initiated. They no longer respond to my messages. I have been treated with complete disrespect.

Great selection and responsive customer service
GlamCorner has such a great selection. I have been a member for years and always get compliments on my outfits. I love the flexibility to try new things e.g. Jumpsuits or coloured blazers that I wouldn't normally buy. I've had occasional delays in postage but the Customer Experience team is always very responsive and helpful.

The quality of this service has really declined.
The quality of this service has really gone down hill.
I rented a dress, and a backup for an event, and purchased cancellation insurance.
I wasn't able to attend, and am now not able to secure a refund because I didn't submit a refund request within 24 hours of receiving the order in the mail.
This feels a bit scammy to me, as the event was 4 days after I received the order, and it was quite difficult to find where I should request the refund. I tried multiple times before the event.
I then shlepped all over existence to try and get to a parcel return location during work hours to get the parcel back to them, because they no longer use Aus Post as a return service.
I returned both pieces with tags still attached, as instructed.
I would say the business is struggling because of all of the things mentioned above.
Unfortunately, this is my last GlamCorner experience.
An easy process - would use again and highly recommend!
I recently tried GlamCorner for the first time. I usually loan event dresses from different rental accounts on Instagram but decided to give GlamCorner a go due to the wide variety of choices on their website and positive word-of-mouth from my girlfriends.
I couldn’t have been happier with my experience!
Firstly, they emailed me a few weeks before the event to apologise as one of my dresses did not pass quality control and could not be sent out. Luckily, this was my Plan B dress and I was able to pick another one out well before time.
Secondly, the dresses arrived early (!!) - well before the rental period - which gave me a lot of time to try them on and to have a feel for how they looked on me and in photos.
The dresses themselves were immaculate and still in great shape - I got lots of compliments about my dress on the day of the event!
Finally, sending back was such an easy process through Sendle - this was a lot easier than normal post as I was able to drop the dresses off even on a public holiday.
I would absolutely not hesitate to use GlamCorner in the future and to recommend this to all my friends. It was such an easy process

Sent the wrong dress and no response from Glam Corner
I was sent the wrong dress (different design and much larger size than what I ordered) and have been trying to get into contact with someone who can assist through their various contact methods but received no response. It has been close to a week now and I don't know what to do since my event is this weekend. Not even sure if I can get a refund since no one has been replying to my messages. The lack of response to customers seems a bit scammy - would definitely avoid in the future
So incredibly disappointing
I signed up to the 4 month special Lite membership which gives you 3 items per month. I spent countless hours searching the ‘wide range’ of dated styles to find items in my size (10 / 12 / S / M) and preferably less than 3-4 years old. It seems Lite gives you access to the oldest styles and limited availability, with multiple items I reserved over 3 months no longer available after I ordered the box. This means hours of my time looking for replacements and weeks without a new box to enjoy. So incredibly disappointing. I have managed to speak to one person who was probably in Manila somewhere after multiple emails, who convinced me to stay another month but I’m so regretting that decision.
I wore about 4 of 9 items I’ve actually received. Now it’s month 4 and the latest box is not being sent because they claim they haven’t received the month 3 box which was delivered to the courier drop off location on 25 Nov (and on the same day GlamCorner sent me a text confirming the box was dropped off). So where is the box 4 weeks later? Who knows.
I’m waiting for a resolution, a refund, a cancellation request to be addressed, and have no items to enjoy for special occasions and the Xmas period which is the very reason I signed up. This company needs a serious overhaul.

Ordered weeks in advance
Ordered weeks in advance, dresses never showed up. Sent many emails and contacts through the website, but no response. Yesterday received an email reminding me that I needed to return the dresses....that I never received. Very concerning, I just want a refund but the absolute lack of response or methods of contact outside of a form on their website has me very concerned they are going to start charging me for not returning dresses I never received in the first place. I'd used this service many times, but this has been a nightmare - I'll avoid them in the future.
