You order online, the next day the order is confirmed the following day you get a refund for not being in stock, so then you look online and presto is still in stock, reorder and the exact same thing happens. Disgusting way to treat their customer's.

I have been replacing and upgrading my camping equipment and using GO Outdoors has been the place to do so.
Especially the massive savings when using my membership card, thanks.

Rang Go Outdoors at Rossington to secure a Phoxx 2 tent, and Paige kindly saved one behind the counter for me.

We needed new iner tubes for our tent which no longer exists a wonderful man called Chris went to see if they had any and found the last 2 he went above and beyond.

Amazing helpful staff. Clearly enjoying being there and radiating positivity. Honestly this is the first time I've written a review but Emilia and the rest of the Go Outdoors gang were spot on.

Went to get quite a few new and to upgrade a lot of camping gear. Found everything that I needed, and when I couldn't locate a couple of items, the staff where super helpful, and even recommended an alternative item.
With almost over £70 savings through being a member, it would be daft to go elsewhere!

Cristina and Emilia were very helpful in finding the things I needed and made me feel very welcomed and comfortable.

I was looking for sandals, unfortunately my size wasn't in stock for any that I liked. The young man who served us was very helpful, explaining the sandals I wanted might be available to buy online or I could check if any had been delivered to store on their next delivery. The young man was called Sam, excellent customer service

I had a very disappointing experience at Go Outdoors.

I went to the store to return a sleeping bag, but I was told they would not accept the return because it had been used. They said they would only consider it if there was a manufacturing fault. I replied that I would inspect the product myself for any possible defect and return if I found one.

However, without my permission, the female manager opened the sleeping bag and started inspecting it herself. I was uncomfortable with this and began recording the interaction on my phone. She then told me that recording was not allowed because the store was private property and insisted that I delete the video. I felt pressured into deleting it.

Later, another manager, Colin Eyre, came over, but the situation had already left me feeling very uncomfortable.

My main concern is not that the return was refused, as I understand stores have return policies. What disappointed me was the way I was treated. Opening my product without my consent and then pressuring me to delete a recording made me feel that my rights as a customer were not respected.

I hope Go Outdoors reviews how staff handle situations like this and ensures customers are treated with more professionalism and respect.

I called in to the store yesterday and was served by Paige. She was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. A good experience

Paige who was the till operator was very efficient and kindly offered to help me to the car with my purchases.

The camping chairs I bought are of a good quality and reasonably priced.

We have recently visited Go Outdoors Doncaster after deciding to do some camping trips with our 2 year old daughter who loves the outdoors. My self and my husband haven’t camped before and knew the essentials we needed but didn’t know where to start. We where served on both occasions by Mark, Leah and there manager. Leah was absolutely brilliant, she recommended things we could get but also told us things not to buy / didn’t need. Her knowledge was brilliant and she knew exsactly what we needed. We decided on a different visit to swop our tent to a slightly different layout. We were served again this time by mark who again was fantastic as the first time. He was so helpful even though we were being the pain and he had fantastic customer service skills ! We had such a good laugh and got on with all the staff we meet. The store has an extremely friendly vide and the staff are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Go Outdoors Doncaster !!

Staff members Jess and Paige extremely helpful and arranged the return and refund, explaining how the process would work.

I was served by John in the Fishing Republic section. He was pleasant and helpful at a time when he had big queues. How he managed to be so calm when his supervisor was at him via the in store radio demanding he did various other jobs, and despite him repeatedly telling her he had a queue waiting to be served, is beyond me. Well done in the face of adversity.
