Very helpful staff
I was looking for some new waterproof walking boots to replace a pair of Peter Storm boots, one ifcqhich started to disintegrate after only a few months. I was served by Daniel in footwear, who was very well informed and strongly recommended Merrell boots, which I bought. Used for the first time today, I am very pleased with their fit and feel. Thanks Daniel!

I came in to upgrade my walking shoes. Lewi was fantastic; friendly, knowledgable, and ran me through the features of the footwear available. His ability to share the knowledge without being patronising or "sales-like" was great! His passion for offering the correct product - and not necessarily the most expensive product - shone through.

Great place to buy walking boots
Tom is a great ambassador for Go Outdoors, as are those of the team I spoke to over a couple of visits. Knowledgeable and professional. Had a good discussion about the features of different walking boots, keen to know what I was looking for, not pushy at all, but got the sale as we found what I wanted.

Visited Metro Centre Gateshead today and purchased a HIGEAR rechargeable airforce pump - when I got home the 3 nozzles were missing from the box. NOT GOOD ENOUGH STAFF SHOULD
