Having bought some boots from the chester store back in Jan and have had nothing but fittment issues since. I went into Shrewsbury today and saw John. He couldn’t have been more helpful. Great advise and knowledge of boots, and sizing for all brands. He gave me a couple of options to try on and we settled on a pair of Mammut’s which seemed to fit perfectly in the shop.
The lads on the till’s were also very friendly and helpful. Fantastic service would highly recommend.

Both young men that served me today (Adam and Ewan) couldn't have been more helpful. I am going on my first walking holiday soon and I am anxious to get the correct equipment and they were both very patient and kind.

From an initial telephone enquiry yesterday to see if they had the berghaus 6xl air tent carpet in stock as no other stores locally had. I spoke with the very helpful Ryan who immediately advised yes and he was able to reserve it for me to collect given I was nearly 2 hrs away. Collected today and Ryan was equally helpful today. So much so we also bought more items for my daughters tent. So helpful and thank you Ryan.

Needed guidance on buying walking boots for cold wet Canadian weather. Simon was impressively knowledgeable and the perfect Guide / assistant with past life/work experience that was invaluable. Without his help I feel we would have made a poor decision on this purchase.

We were looking for items in the cycle department. We spoke to a highly knowledgeable polite and helpful member of staff called Phil. We purchased what we needed using the information he gave us and would highly recommend using this store.

Visited Shrewsbury branch of Go Outdoors today to look at a new mountain bike.Very good selection on display,dealt with a guy called Ed. who was brilliant,gave me some great advice and within 2 hours of visiting the store my bike was all built and tested,as well as having a few extra bits fitted.... fantastic service,and a big thank you to Ed. for his help and hard work..... brilliant job, best regards Ian...

John helped me today. I was looking for some advice on walking boots. He was knowledge and, despite being very busy with several customers, he took time to ensure I was satisfied with my options. He even recommended some inserts that might help with some of the problems I have been experiencing.
The person at check out was also very helpful, I think her name was Nancy. All in all I received excellent service today.
