As Yorkshiremen often are Phil was an incredibly kind and helpful man. I was on a work trip from Leeds and Phil helped me find a brilliant last minute pair of shoes. He was very attentive and answered every stupid question I had. A great introduction to Shrewsbury.

Holly was absolutely amazing, we walked in looking to kit our child out for his DOE but had no idea where to start. Holly came to the rescue by giving her time and expertise. Thank you so much. I would seek Holly out for any advice needed.

We were looking to replace an outdoor coat which needed to be waterproof and warm. Sharon was absolutely fantastic in giving expert advice and spending time with us while we were choosing. We made a purchase with which we were very pleased but felt under no pressure to buy at any time. The service we received from Sharon was superb and Go outdoors are very lucky to have her. Simon and alex were really helpful in making my experience of choosing the right boots for me effortless. and particularly alex when I had to return a pair of faulty scarpa boots. I would say excellent service.

I was in your Shrewsbury store yesterday looking for Walking boots.
I asked Billy to get me a boot in my size, from then on he gave me his undivided attention. Advising me on the best makes and styles available. Checked availability in other stores, sadly Cheltenham was a bit far to travel
I eventually purchased a pair of…….. that I’m really happy with.

Tried to return a pair of Mammut walking boots which had developed a fault with the stitching after less than two years. Mammut guarantee these boots for 30 months on their website but staff at shop didn't want to know. Wouldn't even help me return them to Mammut or do it themselves. Totally useless - will not shop there again.

We have an amazing experience in Go Outsoors Shrewsbury today shopping for walking boots for our son, for his coming trip to Arthog. Stuart on the shoe department was amazing, his customer service was exceptional, and a example that should be replicated. We'd definitely return just to be served by him.... great job.
