I have used this company twice before, once for an end-of-tenancy clean and once for a start-of-tenancy clean, and was generally happy with the results. Their use of eco-friendly products is also important to me, which is why I contacted them again when my regular cleaner was on holiday.

This time, I booked a deep clean that included the windows, inside and out. When the cleaners arrived, I showed one of them around the property and reiterated exactly what I needed. He assured me that they understood what was required.

I was slightly concerned when he commented in the kitchen that it was already clean and therefore didn't require cleaning, but I left them to get on with the job.

Two cleaners contacted me after just two hours to say they had finished the entire house, including the windows and carpets. I was surprised that so much could supposedly have been completed in that time, but unfortunately I couldn't get back in time to inspect the property before they left.

When I returned, it was immediately clear that a lot of the work had not been done.

The kitchen had barely been touched. The worktops had been wiped, but nothing had been moved and the areas around and underneath the appliances had not been cleaned.

The downstairs bathroom still had black specks around the showers.

The upstairs windows had not been cleaned at all.

When I contacted the company, I was initially told that they would send someone back to finish the job. I was then told they wouldn't because they didn't have anyone tall enough to clean the upstairs windows. Apparently they expected the first floor windows of a house to be at human's height!

Eventually, I was told that I would receive a refund for the work that had not been done.

I'm still waiting for that refund.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. They were happy to take payment for a service that was not adequately provided, and the way the situation has subsequently been handled has been extremely disappointing.

Don't believe anything these people say. They don't mean it.

They are not professional at all. It’s all about the money they didn’t even clean anything as end tenancy I had to pay £450/- for nothing absolutely and he didn’t provide me with the end tenancy checks list that I could show to the tenants complained that house looks very dirty and kitchen bathroom toilet nothings looks clean . Man is fraud his got quite threatening behaviour please do not use this service . I would recommend this to help others and not getting scammed with this people . Horrible nasty attitude.

I recently engaged the services of Green Cleaning Services and, regrettably, my experience was far from satisfactory. Initially, the team arrived two hours late without any prior communication to inform us of the delay. I found myself having to contact the office, where the representative seemed unaware of our booking and merely stated that they would arrive soon—an assurance that proved to be unfounded.

Upon their eventual arrival, the cleaning was subpar at best. The team completed only half of the job and left before we had the opportunity to conduct a thorough inspection. Notably, they neglected to clean essential areas such as the fridge and cupboards, despite our clear explanation that the property was furnished and required comprehensive cleaning.

Furthermore, the floors were not mopped, which is a basic expectation for any cleaning service. We were assured that the best two cleaners would be assigned to our property; however, their performance did not reflect this promise. It felt as though they took our money and left without fulfilling their obligations.

In light of these issues, I requested at least a partial refund for the inadequate service provided but was met with silence. Consequently, I am now seeking legal advice regarding this matter.

I strongly advise potential customers to avoid Green Cleaning Services at all costs. The lack of professionalism and quality in their work is simply unacceptable.

While I never write reviews, I am compelled to write a review this time about Green Cleaning as I have always been very happy with the quality of their work as well as their communication. I have been using Green Cleaning for around 7 years now and they have always been reliable, and thorough. I wanted to extend a special thanks to Kamran and his team partner who really did an excellent job. I have a very high expectation of cleanliness and they delivered and went above and beyond.
Also I havent read the reviews recently since I have had a very good experience every year and I must say I am very surprised at some poor reviews as I have never experienced this in all the years they have carried out work for me. Also I think it is a compliment if they take longer than expected and go the extra mile to provide a perfect clean. Certainly Kamran worked non stop with full dedication to the job which I personally oversaw this. I would rather they spend sufficient time and do a good job rather than other companies who try to rush and do an inadequate job!

If I could give zero stars I would. But will honour one star because they agreed to clean on a Sunday (my checkout was a Monday) and were so lovely on the first enquiry. I hired the services for an end of tenancy clean and was assured that they’ve never had any callbacks! Highly professional service - I landed up paying £420 in total, thinking a whole troop of professional cleaners would come in to do the job. Nope. Two cleaners and one spent the entire day on her mobile phone bouncing on my Pilates ball in the back. Then calling me at around 5pm ready to leave with having not even touched my lounge and dining area and lying to me about it. There were wooden floors. Hard floors to maintain, but needing more than a quick mop which was done begrudgingly but far from up to standard. I paid extra for a deep oven clean - again, reassured they could do it (I would have rather hired a specialised service for this if they couldn’t) but then found an oven tray and grate in the refuse bin as I entered the property! The toilet was badly scratched with what looks like metal to clean the bottom. They also used my cleaning materials left at the house for me to do some last minute cleaning. Honestly. Do not waste your money. My advice - ask the letting agent for their recommendation and use their service.

End of tenancy clean booked and paid for. Whilst the property was better than when they started, it was by no means a thorough clean. They had to come back and clean several areas they had missed / not cleaned. After second visit still a ton of areas not cleaned - marks on floors, cobwebs, shelves not cleaned, etc etc. Company have no interest in putting it right, excuse being I didn't send them the check out report (which they did not ask for)
Not a great experience - and expensive

This company deserves a higher rating. Kim and her team did an excellent job from start to finish. Payment was easy to effect and reasonable. The team arrived to do an end of tenancy deep professional clean on time, and ready to do the job. Pertinent questions were asked at the beginning to prevent any misunderstandings. They worked quietly and efficiently. A walk through at the end was encouraged to ensure satisfaction with the job. I was very satisfied and so was the exit inventory clerk who commented favourably on the job done! I would highly recommend this company. Thank you Green Cleaning Services for a job well done.

The arrangements with the company for an "End of Tenancy Clean" were all fine promising "All our work is fully insured, reliable, and professional" - don't believe a word of it.
Firstly, on the day of the cleaning, the cleaning, the cleaner rang us up in the afternoon claiming it was too big a job, and trying to exhort more money. We told them it was not our problem, we paid the company for the service, and whatever they were paid was between them and their employer. Whilst it was quite a big house, it was exactly the job quoted however for however, and excluding some usual elements (such as carpets).
We then received angry complaints from our Landlords, and a claim for damages to the toilets. Accompanying photos showed lots of grey marks, where apparently a metal implement had been used to scrape away limescale, and scraped off the enamel too, leaving unsightly marks. They had done this not to just one toilet, and stopped realising their mistake, but all three!
We eventually got the cleaning company to re-attend (their policy seems to be to ignore complaints until you chase and re-chase). They were able to ameliorate the damage on one enough the Landlord would accept it but not the other two, which we have been duly charged to replace.
Green Cleaning are insured for this negligence, but refuse to pay for the damages that we have been forced to reimburse, so now we are taking them to court over it! Nightmare company!!!

Do not use this company.
Rude point of contact and virtually every aspect of what I had agreed in writing previously was not upheld.
- Agreed booking time at 8am, but the cleaner showed up at 9:30am.
- Before I paid deposit, the point of contact told me that it takes approx 3h, but it actually took 6h. (Her explanation was that it would be 3h if there were 2 cleaners, but due to shift conflicts only 1 cleaner was available on the date).
- Nearly scammed by them, being asked to pay more money, due to my room size (upon arrival, the cleaner told me that the room is bigger than they expected. I sort of expected such a behavior, and therefore had sent a video of my room before I agreed the service and sent a deposit. I explained it and they agreed not to increase the price in the end, but without the video I would have been charged more unnecessarily)
- The point of contact, Kim, was very rude. I found her manner on the phone to be generally unprofessional, and boarding on rude. This includes misleading price increase (she forgot that she confirmed the cleaning price before by checking the videos), telling me that I shouldn't be surprised that someone arrives to start the job at 09:30am since it’s human being, being dismissive and rude after I questioned the sudden change from 3 hours to 6, saying I should have known that "roughly 3 hours" is in fact actually around 6 hours, and sending me a text with a rude tone followed by calling me 3 times in a single minute in order to demand payment “immediately” while they forced me to wait commencement of the cleaning for 1.5 hour.

Vi bestilte en flytterengøring hos green clean service, og var meget skuffet over slut resultatet. Det var tydeligvis noget som var gjort i hastværk og i tillæg havde de brugt et rengøringsmiddel som gjorde vores sølv armatur brune. Vores udlejer sendte os derfor en regning på polering efterfølgende.

Very professional from the initial phone call to completion. Kim very kind and helpful and answered all our questions. This company also gave us the lowest quote

Carried out an efficient and good end of tenancy deep clean. The tenants had left the place filthy and it was restored to a really clean state and smelt clean again.
The kitchen and bathroom sparkled. Carpets all shampooed. They sent me photos because I could be there when they finished and that was great.
