well it seems growell is back to its former self ,letting down its customers. did an order over a week ago a still no sign of me getting what i paid for. had email from dpd a week ago saying we are expecting a parcel from growell. rang this morning ,they have no idea about my parcel . comes to something when every time you order you have to ring to see where it is, this has happen 9 times out of the 10 times ive ordered,even then when it does arrive, its normally wrong products ,absolute joke.for me its the final straw for growell and one stop grow shop this time. ill be ordering from greens holiculture from now on .
GroWell Merton is Brilliant
I went to the GroWell Merton shop to get some advice on what soil etc to buy for my houseplants. Johnny - I believe is the manager was superb with answering all my questions. No question was too ridiculous, he was patient and enthusiastic and I am so grateful I found them. I will be a dedicated customer because of his excellent customer service. Great products too of course!

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. One might think it unusual to rate a…
One might think it unusual to rate a site with a five when something has gone wrong! Unfortunately the wrong item was dispatched by the company. However, the customer service agent (Amy) I talked to was absolutely outstanding. She as asked me to take a photograph of the items that had been delivered to me and send her an email with them attached. Within minutes I had a response from Amy confirming that it was their mistake. Again, within minutes and following a short email exchange Amy had arranged a next day delivery of the items I had originally ordered and also set up a simple return for the items incorrectly dispatched.
GroWell are a very lucky company to have a member of their team, such as Amy, who listened to the customer and took immediate action to solve the issue. Well done Amy, and well done GroWell.

Best grow shop
Amy in customer services is extremely helpful and polite. Legend! Had issues with a product from manufacturer issue. Was sorted the next day swapped with dpd. Unbelievable service and great attitude.
Johnny Merton store also very cery helpful lad. Extremely knowledgeable.
Growell have become the worse hydro…
Growell have become the worse hydro company, I ordered a tent, they sent the wrong tent, I spend 3 weeks ringing and getting told the right orders on its way, after pestering and pestering where is it, I now got told it’s not in stock, absolute scumbag liars, disgusting customer service, they told me it would be sent out on Friday, phoned today and now it’s suddenly not in stock and don’t even bother to let you know, I hope this company dissolves so the people that don’t care are without a job!
The customer service is terrible
The customer service is terrible. I mistakenly ordered the wrong product. Contacted straight away and asked for cancellation. It was shipped the next day anyway.
Since then I have been trying to arrange a return following the advice on the website. All contact has been completely ignored.
If you value customer service for those occasional problems, do not use this company
Ordered an item
Ordered an item, then received email days later saying there's been a delay. When i rang the customer service he advised me that the product was out of stock with no time frame for delivery. The company shouldn't be selling items that are out of stock when i could've ordered from another company and had the item by now. Wont be using this company in future.

I really like visiting my local branch of Growell in Birmingham.
The guys are friendly and knowledgeable. Down to earth and welcoming.
They give out good advice, but don't pressurise you into makingarger spends or buying things you don't need.
I also feel like they've the experience to back up what they sell.
It's a shame not everyone has had the same experience online or elsewhere in the country. As an everyday Joe, it's nice to find an indoor grow centre with friendly, helpful and real people.
Personally I think they're great! Give them a raise ;)
Quickly resolved
Slight problem with the order but it was quickly resolved with no hassle.
Will definitely order from them again.
Exceptional Professionalism and expertise
At every stage of purchase, I was made aware of any and all developments. Dispatch time, courier name, tracking, and a one hour window that I could change to suit me. Seller communications are exemplary, and after sales service excellent. Very happy with purchase and service received.

Good recovery.
Placed my order but there was a delay due to a lack of ballasts. Growell upgraded my balast to a digital one and shipped the product swiftly to my door. Chuffed to bits.

Excellent Customer Service
GroWell really looked after me in all aspects of my purchase.
I ordered a product which was quickly despatched by GroWell. Unfortunately the courier decided to leave my parcel on my parents driveway by a well walked public footpath. The parcel was stolen but the GroWell customer support team were very quick to reply to my emails, deal with the couriers & there lack of sense.
I sent photographic evidence of the place the parcel was left from multiple different angles for customer support to compare to the couriers pictures & it was agreed it wasn’t a great idea by the courier.
A replacement item was sent out immediately & delivered correctly & safely the second time. I can’t ask for anymore & I’m a very happy customer.

What happened??
No longer a good company! I agree with the other reviews - What happened?! I used to love these guys, but... now the website doesn't work, customer service email bounces back, customer service overall is simply non-existent & there's no way to contact ANYONE.. & if you do manage to still get an order completed despite all that - Good Luck! What a shame!
