A cheerful and efficient service taking our punctured car to Wimborne Tyres. Many thanks for real help for two oldies.

We called GRS out to the hard top roof got stuck in the half open on out Peugeot 307cc with no way electrically closing it. I didn't get the guys name who came out to us this Friday eve but what a star ok it was impossible th fix it electrically but disconnecting the hydrolic rams we were able to get the roof closed and secure and able to use the boot as normal .so well done GRS

After breaking down on my vespa on the Friday afternoon, A35 in middle of no where near Dorchester and RAC not really performing that well .On Saturday afternoon GRS Bournemouth were tasked with my recovery,I was not with my vehicle as i had waited (8hrs) till midnight before RAC sent a taxi to take me to Weymouth .
I was to meet GRS at breakdown location, but RAC apparently sent taxis twice which didn't turn up , so I was an hour late .Emily from GRS called me and arranged for one of the recovery guys, Lee to pick me up then proceed to pick up vehicle and transfer me to a GRS recovery vehicle which had waited for me driven by Porkchop
All the GRS staff I dealt were highly professional friendly and couldn't do enough for me.
But due to RAC not getting me to the pick up at correct time I missed my meet with the next recovery to relay me home.
So GRS I very highly recommend but the RAC not at all.
I finally got home to Banbury at midnight but the vespa never made it, hopefully it will turn up Tuesday.

Friday 17 May at 1600 approx I got a puncture in Bournemouth Hospital car park. My husband was an in-patient) so unable to help. I waited about 90 minutes for a breakdown truck to arrive as GRS were busy and was totally impressed with the service received, which included changing the tyre for the spare in the boot. The driver was kind, friendly and got me and my car home. Well done GRS.

Outstanding customer service both from their office and the driver who recovered the vehicle for me. It's not the first time this i-Pace has broken down (in fact it has been the most unreliable car I have ever owned) but it was the first time it completely died on me.

I hope I don't need the service of a recovery firm again but I wouldn't hesitate to use GRS if I did

I cannot fault the service from start to finish from the speedy response to the recovery itself - jason could not do enough to ensure my car was okay; he was so helpful and polite and couldn’t do enough to make the situation do much easier for me

I’ve given this score a 5 star on the pure basis of your Employee Steve who picked me up when my van had broken down.
I work in customer service and what a joy to see Steve in his role , his customer service was truly fantastic and a real pleasure talking to him on my way back.
My only down side was the wait time, from initially breaking down to me being picked up was just over 4 hours and no calls to say roughly what time anyone would be coming but seeing Steve and his great interaction was a tonic. You have a great Employee in Steve and I hope he gets recognised as I’m sure other members of the public have seen this for themselves . I also rang in to compliment as well just in case you have more than one Steve.

A very fast response to my phone call from Martin who was very knowledgeable about cars. He got the car on the road very quickly and was happy to provide advice I asked for on avoiding the same problem in future. Martin is very pleasant and helpful

Absolutely superb service. James is a magician. With a few clicks of his software programmes, he restarted our brand new Volvo XC60. Other recovery services couldn't do this and were also unable to remove the car due to 'lack of space'. James diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what to do within minutes.

Updated for your silly reply ..... Absolutely diabolical service and staff, motorcycle was taken their under section 59. GRS then decided to lean crashed recovered motorcycles on the newly rebuilt bike damaging the bike and then fail to produce insurance details for the damage. AVOID THIS SCAM COMPANY AT ALL COSTS OR IT WILL COST YOURSELF MORE OVER HASSLE AND MONEY. WORST TOW COMPANY IN THE AREA!!! Photos of the bike in there yard and supposed “care”Update... what a waste of a reply you’ve given,
• there’s no insurance details in the reception!!!
• the bikes kickstand doesn’t exist as it’s a motor-cross bike!!! So you have to properly stand it up either axle stand or paddock stand as professionals would already be aware of this (if you were professionals you’d know this)
•It’s only just been refurbished and rebuilt so theirs absolutely nothing wrong with the vehicle as it’s completely road legal motd, taxed and insured!!!
• I left when asked to immediately also civil offence hence no charges!!! Criminally or civilly!!!
•you’re yard was open with no cars being loaded or offloaded!!! And signs covered when open!!!
•you can reject the review but It 100% still stands as legitimate as theirs proof of everything stated also not disgruntled as ive payed all fines and accepted the points!! Disgruntled haha perturbed yea in a way I suppose with good reason for treatment of the vehicle and myself!!!
• yes the police are involved with yourselves for reckless criminal damage, as far as so called trespassing this would be a civil offence therefore you in properly used an emergency service quite clearly.
•refused to supply the insurance details or staff names to hold them accountable to be entirely honest I’m shocked at your repeated refusals for process and procedures it’s just absolutely diabolical after care just shows how much you couldn’t care!!! Your reply sums yourselves up entirely!!!

It was also not seized for any of those reasons under sec 59!!! not that i think that’s public information!!!
Any other silly comments? As you seem to be grasping for straws trying to condone your appalling treatment of property and people!! I do like how you make it seem like I’m in the wrong for you breaking my bike and making out I was removed which I wasn’t and can’t be as trespassing is a civil offence

Today was the first time getting recovered by GRS. AA had passed the job onto them as they new it needed recovering (clutch had gone). Admittedly we did have to wait 2 hours but I don't believe it to be by fault of anyone at GRS, but rather because it was a busy day. We were recovered by Shaun who I couldn't recommend enough. He was polite, knowledgeable, professional, understanding. I mentioned to him that my toddler wanted to watch the recovery and he was great, waving to her and all round really accommodating. I never want to have to be recovered ever again, but if I do then I hope it's Shaun at GRS.

Thank you to Jason and Sal who picked up my diffcult job this afternoon. Picking up my crippled Tesla with Jason's HIAB and transfering to Sal's low loader.
Difficult job prefessionaly executed. lovely folks.
Jason could have taken it on the HIAB but was worried that low trees on local roads, might damage car.

After returning from holiday to my car and finding the battery flat the breakdown service RAC were about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Having passed the job on to GRS they were amazing, professional, friendly, kept me informed and dealt with the ever useless RAC astonishingly well. They went above and beyond to help retrieve my car even going as far as collecting my keys, picking up the car, getting it going and even parking in my allocated parking spot. Im disabled with mobility issues and I cannot express my gratitude enough for how they dealt with my problem. All I can say is whatever they're paying this team...its not enough! Thank you!!

Thank you so much to Joe the co-ordinator who listened to our requirements and realising that they might be a little challenging, he requested a photo. {We have a large motorhome with a long overhang and had already had 3 attempts that day from other companies to recover it - all unsuccessful!}

Breakdown guy, James,turned up within half an hour,diagnosed problem with earth wire & repaired it. Sorted out resulting computer warning messages. Very pleasant,helpful & competent.5 stars, excellent service. Thank you James

James was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and went out of his way to diagnose and rectify the fault. Pleasing to see genuine people are still around.

Got Potholed yesterday, and could only park in a shops car park with limited access! No problem to MR B of GRS recovery, nothing was a problem, from the difficult parking to my partners claustrophobia (back doors can only open from outside)everything was taken in his stride ! Extremely professional, very safety conscience, excellent demeanour, chatty and amenable, the best recovery we have ever had in the last 20 years, (about 8 recoveries)

Excellent service and attention to detail. Car repaired and am extremely happy with the outcome. I would recommend their service and attention always. Thank you GRS Recovery.

Please avoid this company. Our vehicle was recovered after an accident and the GRS employees stole our money, cd's, jackets, sunglasses, jump leads and iPhone chargers. They are a shameful organisation.
