The items ordered are great
The items ordered are great, good quality. Packaging was more than adequate. Gym Direct tried as hard as they could to get the order to me but the pandemic made this quite difficult. I thought the pricing was reasonable.

No communication
No communication regarding timeframes. Unable to be contacted. Took two months to receive goods. Extremely disappointed.
EDIT: Apologies, it did take 5 weeks.
However, to take 4-5 weeks for an order to be filled is outside of customer's expectations when not advised at purchase, as I'm sure you're aware from the fact your FB & Instagram was filled with comments much the same as mine and your FB reviews were disabled.

Thank you for sharing your unsatisfied experience with Gym Direct.
Order # 41694 was placed on 23rd March, dispatched on 27th April, delivered on 30th April with no items on back order. Time frame on your order was within 4-5 weeks from the date of your order. Not sure what prompted you to say "took 2 months to receive goods". We are unsure as to which order has taken nearly 2 months.
I suggest you to please connect to us via FB messenger and provide more information as this isn't the standard service provided by Gym Direct.
We acknowledge delayed correspondence and delayed communication but cannot accept unreal facts.

EDIT - Emma, we understand that it took nearly 4-5 weeks and the reason is not unknown to anyone in this industry. We as a seller had 1000 orders overnight and with no extra hands and COVID restrictions, it is next to impossible service your order in a day or two from the date of order (which would have been a normal time frame in normal circumstances).
Please accept our sincere apologies and and an assurance that we have improvised at all levels and wish to provide excellent service moving forward.

Worst gym company ever. Stay away.
This was the worst company I’ve ever bought from. Shipping took months. I did not receive a large item that I ordered and when I emailed them they accused me of lying twice. I sent them a photo of the packaging I received to prove that my squat pad could not physically fit inside of the envelopes I received. Without an apology or explanation they then sent out my item and when it arrived it smelled horribly like fish and was very poor quality. Their customer service is appalling- so unprofessional. Steer clear of this company.

Regards your order #51728, we can see that order placed on 15th April. Order got dispatched from our warehouse on 27th April and delivered to you on 29th April. Apologies for the 2 weeks slight delay dispatch due to influx of orders we received but certainly not months past due.
On the other hand, we neither receive refund request from you nor your credit card company. Could you please email us in sales@gymdirect.com.au if you could provide any further relevant information so we can escalate down for you.

DO NOT SHOP HERE
DO NOT SHOP HERE. I am also a victim of the deceptive practices of this terrible company. I purchased dumbbells as ‘in stock’ and after two months of ever changing delivery dates could no longer believe they were acting in good faith and asked for a refund. This too was the subject of many emails but no action and like other reviews I was forced to go down the path of legal action to have my refund finally processed. To top it off I was charged a restocking fee for goods that weren’t even in their warehouse and couldn’t be shipped.

I honestly have no idea why you would actually send this to your customers. You already know your major flaws and your business will no doubtably suffer in the future. You used covid to be greedy and take what you could. In my opinion I plan on setting up a full gym in my garage and my first interactions with you I would have stayed and continued to purchase but you scammed people, your communication is pitiful and worst of all you lie to your customers. My only piece of advice is rename your company cause looking at those reviews and people's social media opinions your business is screwed in the near future.
Actually one more piece of advice, stop making false 5 star reviews they are horrendous, you deserve the one star rating so don't cheat the system unless you are going to change it

I purchased my first order on the 23rd March with "in stock" yet it took over 2 months to be delivered. That is not acceptable. Further to your reply you provided me with an email which actually stated "we are packing your order as I type". Guess how long that delivery took - yep 5 weeks after that email.
And to finish off the last part of your reply, I didn't state you created fake reviews on trustpilot but there is no doubt in my mind you did with your own website!!! I urge customers please read the reviews carefully and you'll see how poor this company really is.

As per your order history #51545, you placed order on 10th April and goods got dispatched from our warehouse on 24th July and delivered on 29th July. Apologies for the long wait and understand 19 days in delivery was not an ideal. However we have done our best to keep up the delivery speed when there were over 10000 orders placed before you.
Further more, we have fulfilled 5 of your 6 orders that placed by you continually between March to April and one refunded. Therefore we are uncertain what caused the misunderstanding of customer being scammed by us. In case you are not aware that we consistently provided update information on website for public awareness. But we thank you for your business and support.
Side note that Trust Pilot is an anti - fraudulent review platform with fraudulent detective function to prevent any fake review posed by third party; Plus we will not and do not have time to do so as we have been concentrated on order dispatching on a daily basis.

We ordered two wall balls on the basis that the site said they were in stock but it took six weeks to get them to us and the communication from Gym Direct was non existent, I am sure you did get a lot of orders but not to respond to my enquiries and shutting the phone off is not the way to deal with it.
When we did get them one wasn't even round!
I now go to TWL and Rogue fitness.

Sorry to hear about delayed communication from Gym Direct in regards to your order and worried that your order wasn't completed to satisfactory "when we did get them one wasn't even round". Many times boxes sent out straight from the shipment container without opening the package as it damages actual packaging from manufacturers and less likely that item comes out dented or chipped. In regards to your order # 46191 there was just 1 component to it and not more than that. Anytime if our clients feel that the item was damaged or faulty there is free replacement policy when communicated with us with evidences. I am not sure if your concern regarding product was communicated to us or not.

Overall pretty happy.
Communication was a bit long, but they did express that in banners and pop-ups on their site. Only complaint I had was that the stock was "in stock" when I ordered it at the time on their web site, but the system must not have been updated or something as my gear got put on back order.
Once gear was delivered the communication was great and the items were great quality. Even the turn around time to replace a dumbbell was really good (had a mismatched dumbbell pair).

Beyond atrocious communication and delivery. I would not recommend this store. If you have an order in limbo it is damn near impossible to directly contact them, let alone their sales staff. I'd give them -10 stars if i could.

No Customer Service
Ordered day gyms closed understanding there would be delays. However after 2 weeks I asked for an ETA and was told 1 to 4 weeks. Well months later still nothing, no communication. Eventually I got email saying it was being prepared. Then no response. I tried email multiple times and nothing. Phone lines and web chat are turned off and they won't reply to emails even after weeks. There no information on website giving timeframes or anything.
I had to go through paypal despite and they still wouldn't reply. Escalated to paypal and got a refund, and they had the hide to say for any questons or enquiries to call them...
Avoid like covid.

Great customer service!
Whilst the order was dispatched timely, it was misplaced by the courier. The Gym Direct team attempted to locate the missing consignment, without success it seems. They then dispatched personally, with a team member, the consignment. Great customer service in this busy time.
