As a regular customer of Hairplusbase, I tried their feather extensions for the first time, the quality of the hair is still very good, and the interface is very small and comfortable after installation, I highly recommend the feather extensions

I bought a topper from this company. Do not waste your money. They are scammers. I tried to review the product on their website and my review was rejected several times. Once I gave them a 4 star review (with the same negative message) it went through but only to be "moderated". The topper was horrible. Very bad quality hair, impossible to dye. I honestly think it was actually synthetic, although it was supposed to be natural.

The item is not as described. The hair is low quality. I ordered wavy hair, but what I got is very curly hair with not flexibility. The seller claims that it's natural black hair, but this is clearly not true. The hair is very obviously dyed. I tried dyeing it myself, but it is already dyed so darkly that the dye wasn't able to show at all. I would have returned it immediately if they didn't also make the return process very difficult. Don't waste your money or time!!

Following on from my previous review.I returned this awful plastic yellow pony tail by registered post.It is being held in Chinese customs as they refuse to pay the return duty.Apparently I cannot be refunded by PayPal as they have not received the return!!!!A scam from start to finish.

The hair texture is like doll cheap hair, they are located in China so to send the hair back is very costly so u will be stuck with the cheap hair, don’t buy it!

Awful customer service and product. Received a color and business said it was “close enough” for them when it was brassy compared to what the product was shown.

This hair is soooo cheap. It’s like they dehydrated the hair to match what they think black hair is like having never seen a black person one real life or something. I bought the 6D kinky straight hair colored. The color was off but I wasn’t tripping because it was not terrible. However, the hair turned on me one week after the install and never got it wet. I messaged the company and she said it was kinky and needed a lot of moisture!!!! So it did not curl at all! They fell off the hooks leaving me with a head full of beads with no hair. The beads were also smaller than needed to gather enough hair to support the weight of the extensions so that leas to some hair loss. All in all this is a terrible company. I would never buy a pencil from them let alone hair again!!! This half is trash!!!!

I bought a headband wig from this website. DO NOT BUY. The colour of the wig does not match the photos. There is no ombre effect, it's a very harsh transition from black to orange colour. The also smelled bad when it arrived. I sent the wig back after the company agreed to give me a refund. It's been over a month since they received the wig back and they stopped replying to my emails and haven't refunded my money.

The wig came and upon opening the package a God awful odor that came from the wig was indescribable. The wig itself wasn’t as pictured and of low quality.The smell was overwhelming. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed. I paid close to $300.00 and waited such a long length of time to receive something so awful. I will not purchase anything from this company and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I bought human hair loc extensions from this company twice. They are very simple and easy to deal with no texts and marketing nonsense just the facts. Cheap human hair that passes the burn test and I dyed the brown #4 color locs I bought to a dark brown using nice and easy hair dye. If it smokes when it burns and doesn't melt, if you can dye the hair it is human hair. The locs where very well made I soaked them in boiling hot water apple cider vinegar, and they held together completely. They don't unravel. I am so happy I bought from them.

I ordered 360 frontal lace piece, Very poor quality hair, not worth the money. And it's taken 3 weeks to arrive instead of 7days. I will never buy from hair plus base again and never recommend them.

Ordered a weave using the 3-7 day delivery option. It’s been nearly two weeks now and no sign of my order. Have sent numerous emails and messages with no response. This is unacceptable and terrible customer service. Will not be ordering from here again!!

I ordered a ponytail extension from there (and it cost me £156.41) . Received no conformation email or anything. The pony was much shorter and more curly and very thin compared to how they showed it on pictures. I requested a refund form and they ignored. Tried calling them but the uk number is barred. Tried emailing them and facebook messaged them and got ignored. I requested a refund directly to them on PayPal and no response! I returned this item about a month ago and spent £20 on recorded delivery! I paid through paypal and so i will try and get my money back from them as this seems like a scam!

Ordered a topper from the UK online website, Hairplusbase.com. Paid £146 for it. Received order confirmation saying it would be 3-7 days shipping and as my order was over £79, it would have ‘expedited processing’ of 1-3 days and I would receive an email when it has been shipped. 14 days later! No shipment email and no response to my efforts to email company. The company is based in China but carries a GA, United States telephone number and no UK customer service number. The online chat has no one online despite me trying numerous times during office hours. There is not even away to process a refund through the website, you have to actually wait for them to contact you in order to request one!

Luckily I purchased it through PayPal, so hopefully I will get my money back if my last email has no response in 48 hours.

EDIT: Well I certainly did get a very fast response a few hours after the last email and after posting a review on Trust Pilot. Without further communication, Hairplusbase unilaterally has issued a full refund, confirmed by PayPal. I would have preferred the item but if I can’t have that, then I am grateful for a fast refund.

Apparently Covid being blamed for the company not having the raw materials to process toppers/wigs. I find this strange in my case as I ordered an ‘in stock’ item, so not sure what raw materials they were waiting for before they could ship my topper! A cardboard box perhaps? Anyway, you’d think they would have mentioned that it is not possible to process my order before taking my money and confirming the order or at least have notified me soon after, without me having to waste time chasing them or waiting for two weeks for an item that was never going to turn up in the foreseeable future. 🙄

Anyway, can vouch that the company is genuine and customer service email/chat does respond eventually with the right kind of push so 3 stars for that and for the easy refund. But 2 stars deducted for accepting orders they can not reasonably fulfil at this time and for failing to warn of this upon ordering. A simple message on the website warning of long delays, difficulty getting raw materials, customs backlog etc. due to Covid and an estimate of waiting times would have sufficed.

Don't buy from them! Bad wig quality and service. The product looked nothing like photo, it was very damaged and full of split ends. It looked like a bush. It had patches of different textures of hair, it would be impossible to style. It had no tags or a hair etc and came in a dirty box. The returned package was "lost" due to their convoluted return process, so they just ignored the situation. Really bad service.

The quality of extension is amazing... They look super natural and no one could even predict that I have worn an extension. The delivery an d packaging was also good! Super satisfied by their customer dealing services and I'll definitely make another purchase in future! Keep growing hair plus bases, you guys rock!

I had some doubts about using this company but they pulled through. The extensions are human hair. They have a very soft feep to them and the color match and volume is plenty. My only concern was they lasted much shorter than the extensions i got done at a salon

I have bought two clip-ins now in 16 inches. one a chestnut brown and the other in rich mocha. The color and quality is great. They arrived much faster than the expected date. I will definitely be purchasing a third set soon; maybe a ponytail this time to switch things up.

Never received product. No tracking. Nothing except the payment cleared my account. Cannot get anyone to give me a refund or find out what happened with the product.

Terrible never sent anything never ave me a tracking number for a almost $300 single item ordered!!!!

This company sucks. They tell you you will get your hair in a week or 2 and it takes over a month. The hair they say is real---ISNT. Then when you want to return it they wont give you the address until you dispute with your credit card. They send you the address - you return it and they still wont refund your money STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they should be out of business.
