Due to temporary health reasons I have had to make many calls on my local Happicabs. They have always managed to provide transport when required and the drivers have always been pleasant and helpful.... Ver mais

Was easy to book the taxi, the driver was friendly and professional, overall a positive experience with no complaints.
Very prompt arrival 5 mins from booking.

Booked taxi for 4pm collection at Stansted, as a lone female traveller at the end of a long business trip. Requested an estate car, as I’d specified I had 3 suitcases, 2 of which were large. Text message received at 15.20 advising the car had been dispatched, and giving tracking link, which gives plenty of time to arrive for 4pm at Stansted. At around 15.45 having cleared passport control and collected baggage, I checked the tracker, which showed the car was around the Little Waltham area, so unlikely to arrive on time and was projecting 16.20 arrival. I rang the driver who was unapologetic, and advised he’d be there around 4.15. Phoned the office, who again did not apologise for being late but were argumentative with me - by this point I was upset, by felt I had no choice but to wait for them as they’d taken credit card details. Car did turn up at 16.07, not an estate as I’d specified. A very frosty journey ensued, admittedly caused by my frustration at this point. Poor communication, poor expectation management, poor attitude and a failure to provide what I’d asked for. Be a little early for airport pickups, track the flight, leave when you say you will, listen to customers and look after lone travellers better. Very expensive for this experience.

Really easy to order, could track taxi and the Man I booked with and the driver were very helpful and friendly, will definitely use again.

My car broke down, I pre-booked a Happicabs taxi for 8:25am to get my son to school (my 3 year old was ill & it was raining heavily so I thought a 5 minute taxi would be better for her than a 30 minute walk (plus back again) in the rain). At 8:30 I rang to check where the taxi was and was told “we’re very busy you will have to wait 15 minutes” even though I had pre-booked. All other taxi companies now busy and can’t help. At 8:55 (my son now late for school) Chelmsford Taxi Cabs 24/7 sent someone in the area to me in 5 minutes as I was desperate (thank you to them!). I got my son to school and back again by 9:05. Happicabs eventually turned up at 9:15! Awful service!
Quick response on the phone. Timely arrival, good knowledge of route and very efficient updates. Highly recommended.

Kept being sent messages saying they'll let us know when it's on its way but it never came.
Called them and they admitted it wouldn't be there for more than 30mins, well after our restaurant booking so we had to cancel. It was a special event
