It’s been some years since ordering from this company but all my transactions went relatively okay. However, there were some customer service issues that put me off from becoming a loyal customer.

1) I have the strong belief that no two ‘identical’ products are exactly the same. When it comes to clothing and accessories, I am rarely proven wrong. In the case of headwear, I’ve always found that one product fits my head better than another identical product in the same size and colour. When I ordered from this company, I ordered two of everything, just to be on the safe side. This is where things got weird...

Every single time, the company phoned me to check that I hadn’t made a mistake with my order! No other company has ever done that with me for online orders. Naturally, I found the experience very annoying, especially when two (seemingly) identical hats can fit very differently on the same head.

2) Unless faulty, returns aren’t free… which makes the previous point even more annoying. If I’m paying for returns, why should it matter if I order multiple items in the same size?

Having to pay for returns is one thing, but the company’s ‘nanny state’ style of its customer service was very off-putting.

I have never bought from this company before and I have a lot of hats! I will definitely be buying from them in the future. They were extremely helpful on the phone and by email, when it was my fault when ordering!! They sorted it out professionally and promptly. My hat arrived very quickly, was well packaged and fits me perfectly. Thank you ☺️

Village Hats which appears to be part of Hats and Caps has a dreadful returns service. Bought a hat for €17.96 with €5.95 for postage. Tried to return the same hat for a bigger size and they quoted me €12.65 to send it! Customer service simply referred me to their Returns policy which basically says that the postage costs are on me. This seems crazy given that the return postage costs are more than double the original postage costs for the same item.

Clear and easy to use website and quick delivery. The hat was received in perfect condition and was excellent quality. Wouldn't hesitate to buy again

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The first time I have ordered from this company, but the hat arrived very quickly, is a beautiful quality and fit - and was in the sale! What more could I ask for?
I would thoroughly recommend them - and I am always a little sceptical about a new company, but no need!

Arrived so quickly! Bought for a gift and I was worried it wouldn't arrive on time. Really well made quality hat, would definitely buy from this company again. If the hat team read this, thank you so much for the great customer service, keep up the good work!

Bought 2 news boy summer caps arrived today. Very fast delivery great service great quality and what I think GREAT price. Must say I favour news boy or peaky blinders style caps and these 2 add to my collection perfectly. Will definitely be coming back for more,

Thier web site is so easy to use and very comprehensive covering a wide range of men's an women's hats . It came through the post in a sturdy box and protected very well . I just purchased Hats and Caps ultra-stylish sur la tête Women's Traveller Packable Sun Hat in shade Natural and paid for next day delivery. Arrived with a courier superbly and carefully packaged, and is a joy to behold and an absolute pleasure to wear. So very flattering, and I didn't actually need to tighten the inner brim ribbon for it to fit perfectly on my head to give brilliant coverage shade, both over my eyes and at the back of my neck (hugely important!). And yes, it does indeed flatten down into sort of tube shape, secured with the straw band that surrounds the crown of this hat. So totally perfect for packing in a suitcase when one is travelling on a plane or just popping in one's overnight bag for a weekender locally.
I can't sing the praises of this hat highly enough, and urge everyone who wants a practical, lightweight and elegant sunhat to buy this item!

This has to be one of the best companies I've ever dealt with, first of all, the hat is so well made, and so comfortable, I ordered a hat that was too big, but the exchange policy is so simple, accompanied by a customer service second to none, I never knew buying a hat could be such a pleasure, but this company made it so, and when I do want or need another hat, there's only one place I'll be buying from, I for one recommend Village Hats

This is a wonderful company.Their hats are so well made and extremely stylish.Their customer service is first class my husband lost the feathers of his favourite Tribly and i sent this company an email to see if I could buy replacement feathers for his hat . This wonderful company are sending replacement feathers to me free of charge. You don’t get customer service from companies like this anymore.

Just received my trilby,,,, it’s absolutely blooming marvellous,,, better than I ever imagined,,, The dispatch time was instant, the service department brilliant, I made a mistake with my email address but sure enough within the hour it was sorted AND delivery time was outstanding considering it was over a Bank holiday weekend,,, I have no problem in recommending and ordering again from this impressive company,,, thank you J&J 👌

The quality, shape, etc. of my hat looked great in the pictures but you never know for sure until it's in your hands. It arrived swiftly (ordered Monday and arrived Wednesday) and I couldn't be more happy. Definitely great quality and it looks great on. Going through a very stressful period, but the hat certainly made me smile.

I placed an order for a hat which unbeknownst to me, my husband already had. I ordered another hat and emailed customer services to cancel my 1st order before it was posted. Customer services were excellent, and responded straight away and confirmed my cancelled order. My second order was posted very efficiently and I received it the next day. I’m extremely happy with the hat and service received. I will be shopping with this company again. Thank you ☺️
