I discourage the use of this company. I am a small business and needed additional capital after experiencing a drop in revenue and I needed to purchase inventory for the upcoming season. I just needed a small loan with simple terms. They approved me for over $50,000 in capital. I was charged a "DRAW" fee, then I was charged APR of 53%. After a several months of regular astronomical payments, I experienced hardship and could not make my payment at the predetermined set date, so I reached out to Headway to try and work out a revision to my payments. I was able to make modified payments for 3 months but then at the end of the 3rd month my accounts was then over $10,000 PAST DUE and they wanted that money NOW... Really, you will agree to work with me and let me make modified payments but then put my account in collections and demand $10,000. Knowing I am in hardship.. I requested a modification in terms to set a more reasonable payment and adjust the APR to a more reasonable amount. I was denied. I pay more in the interest then I do the principle. The manner in which they communicate is very deceiving and you really think they are trying to help, but in the big picture, they are helping themselves. You say you are there for the small business, but when the small business really struggles, you push your terms and refuse to renegotiate. The contract you sign is deceiving and misleads you regarding all the hidden fees and interest. It is outrageous and they prey on the little guy. They are scammers for sure and get you in a position you are trapped in. The APR is obscene and you're making a ton of money while the small business is struggling to stay alive. Shame on you!!!!

Do not do business with this company. They will charge you withdrawal fees, additional interest, and ignore your request for help. I was approved for a business loan and I declined after I learned about the additional withdrawal fees to use the money that you already pay interest on. After I was informed that the fee was waived, I accepted the loan. The withdrawal fee charged even after being informed it was waived. I was finally refunded but it was refunded as an interest payment. It should have been refunded to the principal amount as agreed. Called three times and promised an investigation would be open and a manager would call me. Never happened. Finally after 3 weeks I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. After you get in their program customer service goes to 0.

Grateful for finding Headway Capital through Lendio. The trust in my company and the opportunity for growth is appreciated. The team was easy to deal with and process was simple.
