Achtung HM ist Betrug :(

Achtung! HM nimmt Buchungen für Hotels an, die gerade renoviert werden! Dann sitzt ihr auf einer Insel fest, ohne Hotel und erhaltet weder per E-Mail noch über Instagram oder andere Kanäle eine Antwort oder Benachrichtigung! Das ist Betrug! Ich warne alle vor HM!

extremer Lärm und respektloses Verhalten

im Zeitraum von 30.12.2025 bis 03.01.2025 war ich Gast in Ihrem Hotel. Was ich während dieses Aufenthalts erlebt habe, ist in dieser Form einzigartig negativ und für ein Hotel dieser Kategorie völlig untragbar.

An jedem einzelnen Morgen wurde bereits um exakt 06:00 Uhr mit dem massiven Verrücken von Sesseln und Tischen begonnen. Direkt unter meinem Zimmer befand sich offensichtlich der Frühstücksbereich. Das dadurch verursachte, ohrenbetäubende Lärmen war derart intensiv, dass selbst mit Ohrenschutz ein Weiter­schlafen unmöglich war. Mir wurde somit an jedem Tag systematisch der Schlaf geraubt.

Selbstverständlich habe ich dieses Problem mehrfach telefonisch bei der Rezeption gemeldet und ausdrücklich darum ersucht, dem Personal mitzuteilen, jene Tätigkeiten zu unterlassen oder zumindest zeitlich zu verschieben, die diese extremen Geräusche verursachen. Die Reaktion darauf war jedoch schockierend: Mir wurde sinngemäß mit den Worten
„Be careful what you say!“ begegnet.

Diese Aussage empfinde ich als klare Drohung und als eine inakzeptable Grenzüberschreitung durch Ihr Personal.

Bereits am Vortag hatte ich mein Anliegen persönlich an der Rezeption vorgebracht. Anstatt ernst genommen zu werden, wurde mein Anliegen belächelt und nicht weiter beachtet. Dieses Verhalten ist respektlos, unprofessionell und in keiner Weise mit einem kundenorientierten Hotelbetrieb vereinbar.

Zusammenfassend war dieser Aufenthalt durchgehend von massiver Lärmbelästigung und erniedrigender Behandlung durch Ihr Personal geprägt. Ein derartiger Umgang mit zahlenden Gästen ist für mich absolut nicht hinnehmbar.

Ich möchte ausdrücklich festhalten, dass ich dieses kundenschädliche Vorgehen auf sämtlichen relevanten Bewertungs- und Reiseplattformen sachlich, aber unmissverständlich darstellen und bewerten werde. Nach diesem Aufenthalt kann ich Ihr Hotel in keiner Weise weiterempfehlen.

Ich bin zutiefst enttäuscht – nicht nur vom mangelhaften Lärmschutz, sondern vor allem vom respektlosen und einschüchternden Verhalten Ihrer Mitarbeiter. So lasse ich mich als Gast mit Sicherheit nicht behandeln.

Amazing time in Paradise at the HM Villas Palapas in Holbox Mexico!

Stayed for 10 nights at the HM Villas Palapas del Mar in Holbox Mexico !!! Amazing stay ... food, room, pools (rooftop pool also) and the location is perfect. Litterally across a sandy road to the breathtaking beach. 15-20 minutes to Mosquito beach, the sand banks are out of this world. Just few minutes away from Paya Coco also, the bioluminescence at night are really nice. Its close to town, loved the restaurants and ambiance. The murals are a must see. A few convenience stores just besides the hotel. The hotel food is just wow !! Everything was excellent !!! Can go anywhere on foot or a short taxi (cart) ride! The staff was absolutely delightful. We took the basic all inclusive and it did not disappoint, if we wanted something off the a lacarte items not in our package you just pay the difference which i loved. The food was delicious at all meals and snacks. Dont miss the BBQ night ! Was amazing! No hassle, quiet and beautifully kept grounds. We had a private pool and we loved that !!! We will be going back for sure !!!

HM Hotels - KATASTROPHE

HM Hotels nie wieder, waren in Magaluf Mallorca im Herbst, ätzend, kaputte Türen, stinkende Rohrleitung im Bad, kleine Tiere im Zimmer, desinteressiertes Personal…. Einfach eine Absteige…. Reklamationen Fehlanzeige, interessieren niemanden….

Never book at HM hotels - Villas HM Paraiso Isla Holbox

We booked a room in Villas HM Paraiso del Mar at Isla Holbox, for 2 adults and 2 kids directly with HM hotels. Arriving there, they told us it was without kids, but we were 100% sure all was booked with kids. Apparently the HM.hotels website let you select and click through, pay for it, but it is not really specified in the final reservation. This leaves room for interpretation and to charge extra costs..which they did..What a scam. We redid the booking to show the journey online and it was obvious. We had to pay more than 300 USD extra though, which is much more than you have to pay online. Then they gave us the worst room you can imagine. Next to the pool bar with incredible loud speaker noise. It was thrilling in the room. We have 2 small kids, so that was not an option. We wanted to cancel the reservation since this was totally off. The booking was expensive, became much more expensive and then we receive this awful room..It was no option to cancel, they did not want to reimburse since it was a non-refundable booking...they forgot they did not deliver on all things promised. They re-booked us to a different HM resort next to this resort which is a lot cheaper, lower profile with a lot less amendities. We stayed there for 1 night and then moved out. We lost all our money. It was horrible...please never book here...

Vor dem Bezahlen der Buchung wurde einem nicht noch einmal eine Übersicht über die ausgewählten Optionen gegeben und bei Kaufabschluss wird man auch noch zeitlich unter Druck gesetzt, innerhalb von 7 Minuten zu bezahlen. Bei unserer Buchung scheint sich die Seite aktualisiert zu haben, sodass wir nun mit falschen Flügen dastehen. Der Anbieter ist nicht bereit uns entgegenzukommen.

They are a Total scam and…

They are a Total scam and moneygrabbers. Booked a junior suite in February for HM Balanguera Beach in playa de Mallorca. When I was looking op restaurants in the neighbourhood, noticed they booked us in HM Balanguera in Palma De Mallorca in thé city.

When contacting them. They just said; "oh yeah, we can transfer your booking to the beach hotel. For a Standard room. If you want to upgrade you have to pay ar least €700 extra. Alsof we won't refund you, you have to come to us or not, but you will pay.

Don't use them they Will scam you with their greed .

Ich soll ein 2. Mal zahlen

Hatte mit Dertour eine Pauschalreise ins HM Playa del Carmen gebucht.
Als ich ankam wurde ich sofort aufgefordert das Zimmer zu bezahlen. Da ich nicht 2x bezahlen wollte habe ich das abgelehnt. Unter Einschüchterung und Drohung habe ich zunächst die 2 ersten Nächte bezahlt um überhaupt ein Zimmer zu haben.
Man verhält sich sehr unfreundlich, hat mir sogar das Wifi gesperrt, obwohl es doch verständlich sein muß, daß ich nicht gerne ein 2. Mal zahle.

Customer Service is extremely bad.
Wee booked the complete package (hotel, flights, transfer) via HM Hotels. Right after booking, flights were changed (ok this is bad, but it can happen). I received this information only from the airlines, not from HM itself. When I told them about it, asking if they can adapt this change in the booking details and if they will inform the transfer agencies, they told me they will request a fee if they do so. Excuse me? For what?? This should be included in the service? Never again I will book anything with them. Custer retention not existing! Really disappointing experience.

Mal servicio al cliente/Bad Customer Service

Es una pena que su gerente o quien dijo que es el gerente del Hotel HM Paraiso del Mar en Holbox mienta y que le diga a uno de sus colabores que me responda para que ya deje de estar Jodiendo. Un servicio al cliente cuenta desde antes, durante y después de una reservación.

HM Casa Del Mar on Isla Holbox is powered by a large generator

HM Casa Del Mar on Isla Holbox looks really nice on the pictures but HM hotels ‘forgets’ to let you know that the house is powered by a large generator. The generator produces a lot of low tone high volume sound which vibrates throughout the house. The generator is installed underneath two sleeping area’s which makes them unable to sleep with the generator on. (See photo’s). You can compare the areas around the house and sleeping area’s with a busy bus station where all busses are run by diesel engines. With the construction of the house it doesnt really matter if you are inside or outside. Nothing else on the island is powered by individual generators, there is normal electricity over the cable however HM said they have an issue with the powersupplier so they installed the generator.

Jedier (the local host) gave us after check-in the following options: switch off the loud generator but you’ll lose all electricity, airconditioning units, running (warm)water, toilet, fridge & freezer et cetera or leave it on and/or basically get used to it on your ‘relaxing’ holiday. After a horrible night and getting really stressed about the continuous sound we asked Jedier to move to another place. HM has multiple hotels on Isla Holbox, but unfortunately they had nothing available. We traveled with three families so we requested 3 separated rooms like the house however he was only willing to offer us two rooms to share. Their cancelation policy was not an option since we already checked in. We felt stuck.

After a lot of e-mails back and forth with the HM team they didn’t leave us satisfied with this issue and didn’t seem to understand that you have to share this crucial information beforehand. Their offer was around 15% compensation for the three nights total. Hopefully with this review you’ll have a better insight in what this villa and HM hotels really has to offer you. Hopefully you are still able to cancel or at least not book this house till this 30kw generator is removed.

Paid Extra for No Reward !!

Paid extra for a premium room to take advantage of the sea view and was given a room on the second floor despite the hotel being half empty.
Other users were given standard rooms with same facilities but much cheaper prices and spectacular views from the 9th floor
The Sky bar and rooftop pool is not open till the summer season, they forgot to mention this !!
