I had a pleasant experience at the HMV…
I had a pleasant experience at the HMV in Stirling. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, going out of their way to assist me with my queries. I appreciated the support in suggesting online options when a specific album wasn't available in-store. While I found that some items could be cheaper elsewhere, the quality of service provided made up for the pricing difference. Additionally, handling a return for a Click and Collect order was seamless, thanks to the brilliant management. My only inconvenience was that I couldn't use a gift card online, which required an extra trip. Overall, I'm impressed with the service and would recommend visiting the store for a personal touch. Four stars!

Cd refund
The staff were great I just felt I could have been refunded on my 1st visit rather than having to wait until my order came. I purchased the cd in store almost 2 weeks ago!

Good selection of stock and good deals…
Good selection of stock and good deals on. I liked fact that a lot of the boutique label blu rays and 4ks were split by label. As a collector I though this was a nice touch. HMV have really upped their game in terms of 4k over the past few months and I’ll try and support a brick and mortars store when I can if they continue to have good stock and deals

Easy returns - helpful staff
Ordered DVD to CnC from Stirling. Then couldn't wait and bought it in store. The return, when the DVD arrived in the shop - not normally done for CnC in store - was handled really well. The manager was brilliant.

My only complaint is I can buy all these movies for cheaper on Amazon. I realise this is a trade off for the price and the staff wages but…..
I don’t offer solutions just criticism.

Gift card problems.
I received a gift card but found I could not use it on the online website.
I had to visit the store. Then identify from the website available items then return to store to place order. Quite a waste of time.
Store staff were very helpful at all times.

A very rare occurrence
The assistant was very, very helpful and couldn't do enough for me. Helped me where to look online for a specific album because HMV didn't stock it. Also got a DVD from the shelves even although I had been looking for it for ages. Hid the DVD as best he could because it was for my husband's birthday, as he was browsing in the shop elsewhere. I wish all shop assistants were as helpful.

Friendly and helpful
Shirley at the Stirling branch was very friendly and helpful, ordering a DVD from another branch for me and made the whole process really easy.

Pre-release vinyl order. Online ordering process easy to follow. Kept up to date online with the order status. Informed when in store and given a good time frame to collect it. Convenient for me as busy flexible work schedule makes it difficult to receive delivery. In store staff friendly/helpful. Vinyl was well packaged.
