The staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled. Paul in particular spent a lot of time showing us round and making a budget work for our school project. Homebase kindly donated some plants and other items for our Father’s Day event at St Andrews Primary School.

I was helped in store on Saturday 8th April by a lovely lady called Debra and she recommended me some paint which I bought and I’m really happy with it.

Easy to order and quick delivery. However, the lady at click and collect could not have been less interested. Surely a smile and some eye contact is not too much to ask from customer service staff.

We went to exchange a Keter storage box we had bought online for a larger one from the Bishop Auckland branch.We were served by a lady named Deborah who was extremely helpful and friendly who exchanged it with no problems.Would definately recommend this branch :)

Went to homebase to buy indoor plants and yet again the same old story the plants were withering away and when i checked the soil they were all dried out the whole lot of them i took one over to the cashier and told her politely about it when she just nodded and said ok the store was BISHOP AUCKLAND i left without any plants ill go to b&q.

Picked some things up with click and collect from the Bishop Auckland branch last week and they were very helpful. Even put a little not on my items saying they hoped my project as a success. Its these little things that make you want to return, Thank you

I would have bought a lot more things had there been toilet facilities. I think they are essential in a large store like Homebase where you would spend an hour or two maybe more looking around making lots of impulse purchases especially in the gardening department at this time of year. I just had to dash in, get what I’d ordered and leave,

After coming into the store yesterday looking for some garden furniture to purchase, we were told by a member of staff that there weren’t any items available and we need to order online, thankfully a member of staff we caught who’s name is Paul, asked if we needed any help went above and beyond and managed to actually find the stock we needed (sounds like the other gentleman didn’t go to those efforts) brill customer service right through from Paul to even unloading it in the van.

Love this shop. So many great items to choose from all at very good prices, staff are friendly and happy to help. Ordered some cushions on line and they arrived really quickly and in perfect condition!

Quick and efficient. I'm pleased with the terracotta pots I ordered. I'd ordered online on Friday and they were ready to pick up on Saturday! I was only able to pick them up on Monday due to other weekend commitments. Cluck and collect was very quick and despite the store being busy I was only at the counter a few seconds.
