Great customer service from Gaye. Excellent choice in store

Went into homebase for an exact bit of wood to fix the wood that had broken on my bed, got the exact same bit of wood I was looking for at a great price. Cashier was polite and friendly.

Donna was so friendly and helpful. Great staff.

Served by Donna who was great with my little girl.

I went to Homebase Hamilton today with the sole intention of purchasing some storage boxes.

Whilst walking through the store I decided to purchase some screwdrivers which had a security tag on them to stop them being removed from the shelf.

I located a memerber of staff who's name I didn't catch, she was female and asked if she could remove the tag.

The member of staff was very warm and friendly and removed the tag with a smile.

I located the boxes I wanted to buy and took them to the till where I was served by Donna.

Again, she was very friendly and again it was service with a smile!

Overall a very pleasant in-store experience!

Glad I went here today and not the other store with the two letters for it's name! 😂

Ordered laminated flooring from the shop online with 1hr click and collect option. 1hr availability was the main reason why I've chosen Homebase as I organised workers last minute and was really in a rush. After making payment, while on the way to the store (30+ miles) I've got a phone call saying only 13 out of 41 packs are available today, remaining 28 packs the next day!! The next day I wouldn't have a transport or help, but would have paid workers with nothing to do! So we came in 2 cars over 30 miles for 13 packs... The server wasn't even nice to us. Then when we got back home, received a phone call, they manages to organise remaining 28 packs. Ridiculous organisation! so we drove the extra 60 miles both way in 2 cars to pick up something they could have and should have done earlier.

on top of that a few panels were chipped.

Good choice of floorings but the staff makes it I won't be back.

I’m a regular customer to Homebase Hamilton and some of the staff and myself have got to recognise each other and remember each others names. They are all very helpful & knowledgeable whenever I’ve asked for advice or a product. Like that as it’s like being back to my small hometown ironmongers. Star of the day was Donna who took my retuned solar lights ( I’d not read the length of them properly ) and got the money back on my card. I’d then went on to buy over £100.00 of bark, compost , plant supports, plant labels & a waterproof pen. Thanks again Donna for making it such a straightforward and enjoyable experience.

Zi visit hamilton Home base often more so in summer.i always had a very good experience All the staff were always very helpful no hesitation to assist or repair any thing I can not do.In particular Dinna has been very pleasant to all in assisting

Donna makes your day brighter when you can get a lovely helpful conversation a great person and a very good customer service agent I wouldn't visit homebase if Donna wasn't there each morning to make our working day brighter. An absolute Gem of a lady.

I eventually found a member of staff and asked for assistance with buying hinges for a standard internal door. He told me they were up at the other end of the store and I replied yes but I'm looking for help as there are a few different ones, he told me I'd need to know the size of the door, I said again that it was a standard internal door for my living room but I didn't have the exact measurements, he said no he couldn't help me as I didn't have the size of the door. He was quite condescending in his manner & wasn't happy being approached or interested in assisting a customer.
Fortunately the till operator was friendly & polite

Was served by Gaye today in the hamilton store, I'm a regular visitor to homebase and always have a warm welcome and every worker on the tills is super helpful and friendly. Had a great chat with Gaye and left very happy with my homebase trip!
