Pretty much worse domain broker I've ever dealt with. I want to buy a domain, but the price is way too high. Send a couple of offers, and all they do is send me a standard email with the same line, 'I... Ver mais

Straightforward experience with v. good customer service
Although their business model stinks, I wanted to write to say that I needed to purchase a domain, I paid (a lot, seemed ridiculous) for it, and the process was straightforward and very simple. It did come with a lock, which meant I couldn't transfer it to my preferred platform (go daddy) for 60 days, but I emailed them, they were super responsive, requested I send them a pic of driver's license, they released the lock that same day, and I was able to transfer. So, honestly, their customer service was pretty good.
And thanks to what I learned from reading these reviews and understanding the business model of Huge Domains, I prepaid for nine years of hosting with go daddy so I'll never accidentally not renew!
But just wanted to tell anyone who does need to purchase from them that the domain did transfer and that thiswas a straightforward purchase.
Horrendous people who steal your money
Horrendous people who steal your money. You have some weird deal with someone that allows you to control domain names. You are basically robbing people blindly. Shame on you all
Bots
Similar experience as many others. My domain was so random that it would be useless for anyone else. I simply changed the name of my newly established firm and registered a new domain to match. At least I know Huge Domains will continue to register my old domain for a number of years and lose some money because it’s such a unique name that nobody else would want it and be prepared to pay them thousands of dollars.
Redirecting Link in Website leads to HugeDomains.com
Not only do They squat on Domains when it is about to expire... But even worst they are now utilizing Malware to install a piece of "redirecting URL coding" into your template... Lets say you installed a free template on wordpress then delete it... It may inject a code that does the following... When you send a message to someone on Instagram or any social media platform utilizing your own very personal URL... Just like magic the clicking will send that person to ... Yup you guessed it... "Huge Domain .Com"... I don't understand how America allows Scams to go on.. and Unchecked. This company has destroyed thousands of Lives... I hope the FBI raids the CEO Andrew Reberry from colorado and takes even his dog...
Criminal scum
As the other comments say, this company consists of just scummy domain thieves. What they'll do is spend all day scanning the internet for expired domains and swipe it for themselves to sell for thousands of dollars without the owner's knowledge or consent (which is actually illegal). I'm not sure how these people have gotten away with this for so long.
Domain squatters
If any domain happen to expire these guys will snap it up and try to re-sell it back to you for thousands of dollars. Stealing actual registered company domains is probably not legal and we'll take action against this.
bots controlling my password vault??!!!
So I was looking through my password vault for another website and found holife.com. I had no recognition of it or HugeDomains.com. But I had a username and password set up in my vault. How I don’t know! I had no need of the services offered by this website! After reading other reviews I saw the reference to bots being used. Boy am I scared! What else has been done without my knowledge???
evil behind this website,
evil behind this website,
you will agree with me one day
How can they still exist
How can they still exist? this is a scam & fraud. don't buy anything from them
Very horrible company
Very horrible company. In my opinion, their services have not met my expectations, and I am disappointed with their practices, particularly their alleged involvement in domain squatting for extended periods. Just terrible
After many support requests
After many support requests, Leander and the team were able to patiently help me until I solve my payment issues and I was able to purchase my domain. Thank you again.
Also, it seems that most of the negative comments here are about their business model and how are they buying expired domains but I don't think is anything wrong with it. If they didn't, another person or business would have purchased that domain.
Horrible inhumane way to make a buck…
Horrible inhumane way to make a buck exploiting the vulnerability of decent people. Avoid this trash.
Horrible company
Bought this domain on the payment plan but then I had to use namebright for managing the domain and it was absolutely horrible. I cant believe anyone is able to use namebright for anything, it doesnt load 80% of the time and the site looks like it hasnt been updated in 20 years. My guess is hugedomains wants it that way so we're forced to pay off the domain in full so we could transfer the domain out. I called hugedomains and the guy on the phone had such a bad attitude, didn’t even care to help. I ended up just paying off the $1800 domain so I could actually start using it. Plus I had to pay an additional $80 hugedomains fee for the payment plan even though I paid off the domain in 1 day. Terrible experience, will never use hugedomains again.
Må de forbydes...
Må de forbydes, at handle i Danmark.
De har opkøbt et domain fra en domain-sælger, og gået fra 150,- årligt - til $3,395 - eller per XE.com, på nuværende tidspunkt, 23:22/23:23 = 23.002 kr.
Hold dig væk, hvis du værner, at få - mest værdig, for færrest penge.
11,500% markup for a domain
Lost a domain bid on godaddy against one of their bots and they now sell it with an 11,500% markup. Better to just get your brand name registered and then get lawyers involved for copyright infringement. WAY cheaper
The world's largest domain extortion…
The world's largest domain extortion operation. My client's credit card expired, and the website manager moved to a different company, but HugeDomains was right there to squat on the domain and then have the gall to put a $5000 price tag on a $20 domain name. IMHO, that is no different than kidnapping and extortion.
Some miserable thieves
Some miserable thieves. They use bots to acquire the domains of those who are not careful with the renewal and take advantage of this vulnerability. No one can do anything! It's incredible!
I hope someone will bring an end to them though. Unbelievable how trash like them survive.
They are basically thieves
They are basically thieves . They buy a domain with the name of your company and they try to sell to you for a big amount of money .
Trying to sell my domain worth £50 back to me for over £5k - scam artists
Bought my domain name when I forgot to renew at less than £50 for the year.
Tried selling back to me for £5k+
Years later still hold the domain and still want £2.5k+ for it. Scam artists.
I bought a domain from them 100% scam & Fraud
I bought a domain from them and paid $2,650 after I finished paying ( i paid in payments) they took back the domain and I lost $2,650 this company is 100% scam and 100% fraud. I wouldn't be surprised if I find a class action lawsuit that is suing their company. they do have crazy terms and conditions so they can scam people but there are laws that protect consumers from unfair terms and conditions so I will definitely be looking into that. i would be more than glad to remove this review if they resolve my problem
