The policy Hughes found me was the most comprehensive & reasonably priced I could find. I used a cashback site which directed me to Hughes website where I had to provide additional information. My only complaint was that having done that several times (& finding myself back to the cashback site & unable to complete my purchase), I had no choice but to phone the Broker & go through the whole process in detail again before eventually buying. However, I have to say, the young man who dealt with my purchase was very pleasant & friendly, therefore I ultimately was happy to have purchased my policy with them.

After initial quote valid for 15 days…
After initial quote valid for 15 days was told details had changed and new quote was over £200 more, That’s the second time that happened to me with Hughes.
Checked online a day later. Guess what. Hughes’s quote was the same as the original first quote.
Very angry with a local company who praise themselves on their customer support.

One star – Stop bombarding your customers!
The buying process itself was absolutely fine, but the avalanche of follow-up emails afterwards has been intrusive, excessive and thoroughly irritating.
I bought car insurance, not a subscription to an endless stream of emails. The constant follow-ups are bad enough, but then come the emails begging me to leave a review.
Well, you asked, so here it is: ONE STAR.
Your relentless emails have turned an otherwise perfectly acceptable buying experience into an irritating one. Give your customers some breathing room instead of bombarding their inboxes and wasting their time.
Less pestering, fewer emails and a lot more respect for your customers’ time would be a good place to start.
