We went to London and we looked online for good places to visit for food, this was amazing and so tasty! I never ate crumble before but now I love it we need this in France!

What a fantastic dessert spot! I stopped by Humble Crumble it came highly recommended on my must-try list, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.

If you're passing through, do yourself a favour and stop in you won't regret it!

Visited the Spitalfield branch. My very first taste of it and last one I'm afraid....tiny portion of mixed berry with very dry crumble on top for £7.15!!! Outrageous and overrated.

Nothing special but the price. Could be better

With reference to Humble Crumble in Bicester. It’s amazing so happy that it has come to Bicester. I asked the young ladies name who served us, Phoebe. She was professional, helpful & had a wonderful happy smile & attitude. Will definitely spread the word and visit again.

Loved it, first experience yesterday @ Camden Market, great banter and service from the assistant who served us and was delicious - had the crumble, with hot custard and meringue pieces, definitely recommended

I was very impressed with all the staff at Camden branch very polite and helpful
My apple/cinnamon was delicious topped with crumble and cream

Absolutely delicious dessert, the marshmellow topping, really was the icing on the cake, as was the excellent service on Sunday 28th April by Jen at Borough. She put a smile on our team walking the Thames Path.

Amazing customer service. The girls I met were so lovely and super welcoming. Had the classic Apple crumble with hot custard and it was wonderful.

Been getting crumble from the Camden store for a while, but something’s changed, it’s had a turnaround and the customer interaction has improved significantly, I was pleasantly impressed and had a delicious crumble too, it also makes a great change when the Manager has interacted with the customers too.

Absolutely awful experience. Camden Store has two doors - no idea which way is in and so public just crowd in. You order via three very closely wired tablets - absolutely no staff interaction with customers at all. Not even a smile or a ‘hey how are you’. Zero. So rude and the tablet asks if you want to tip!? The crumble was fine, big chunks of fruit in the fruit compote, you pay EXTRA for custard which is very vaguely warm. £7. Rip off. Don’t waste your time.

The size of container needs to be looked at,went into the spitafield market yesterday 08/09 and it seems as if everything is crammed into the pot.Custard was also Luke warm to be fair the actual crumble was average I was expecting much better from a shop that just specialises in crumble

This crumble place is amazing! The que is totally worth it and the staff are amazing and friendly. I got my order wrong and they were amazing when I was getting into a mess about it, I always come back here and it’s one of the nicest places in London to visit for a dessert! A que is often a good sign, but it moves quick and I’m never waiting long!

Been waiting to try this place, unfortunately it felt like a real Insta v reality moment. The staff were unfriendly, the apple crumble average if that and the custard was cold. Ended up throwing it away and won’t be going again, gutted it wasn’t as I’d thought. Maybe it was a bad day for them!

A waste of time. Ridiculously inept service: I queued for 45 minutes behind about 30 people during which they served 4 people. This is because they want customers to self order on tablets and 90% stand staring at the options, chatting, asking questions. Friends stayed on but said it was, at best, bang average, with small portions.

We went to Spitalfields market yesterday at around 3pm. We were queuing for over 1 hour as the new iPad ordering system is honestly a joke! This will be the last time I go to Humble Crumble as the long queues and slow ordering process makes the crumble taste sour. Go to the bakery stand nearby and have the Nutella filled doughnuts instead - ask them to microwave them and thank me later!

Went to Humble Crumble at Spitlefield Market 25/03/23 - queue was unbelievable - an hour later reached counter only 1 computer ordering screen working which added to waiting time - then had to wait again for food to be made up. In total 1 1/4 hrs to get a crumble, the wait was definitely not worth it. This is another company grown too quickly that cannot cope. Very Poor.

On our recent visit to London and borough market with our daughter she suggested having a humble crumble experience.

What an experience it was, we stupidly queued like many of the others for over an hour just to place our order. The crumble itself was delivered in only a few minutes.

There is a major flaw in the way the orders are taken and clearly making it all a smart self ordering system doesn’t work.

The crumble was tasty and the bottomless custard offer, great but I will not ever eat here again unless they sort out their ordering system and reduce the queue lengths.

It would have been quicker and cheaper to make our our when we got back home.

Very disappointing.

It’s all for aesthetics. The crumble I believe is just shortbread biscuit blitzed to make a crumble and I don’t believe they make the shortbread I could be wrong but taste like shop bought ones. Ask for a little less crumble and more custard if you don’t want it to be dry. The apples are nice not bitter like most non home made apple crumbles. The queues on the weekends are long. I expected more to be honest. Overall I’d give them a 3.5/10
