Quick delivery and everything was as it should be

Good price and quick delivery

This is a first class honest Company and I would recommend them. My Fly Killer arrived with a broken tube so they sent me two tubes which I received next day, Unfortunately there was more damage (caused in Transit) than I had noticed and the new tubes didn't fix it. They sent me a complete new Fly Killer which I got next day and it works perfectly. You could not get better service than this anywhere.

I wish they sold all the things I need !!

I ordered 4 heaters from them. Although not yet tested out due to the heat wave, I am hopeful that they are fine.

Friday 9am Saw an AC unit in stock. Called HSD online and spoke to someone confirming the item was in stock. Placed an order for around £400. At 5pm see I’ve had an email(went to my spam at 2pm) saying order cancelled due to security concern. Refund held by bank over the weekend until Wed morning. Lines closed wasn’t able to contact HSD, they didn’t call me to let me know.

I can now see someone else on here had the same thing happen to them. 1* for a nonsense excuse(have had thousands of online purchases, security concern sounds like absolute made up junk), being told it’s in stock when it isn’t, not given a phone call to tell me order was unsuccessful and being out of pocket £400 for 5 days( 3 working days) during a heat wave when I’d want to use that money to buy an AC.

Will not trust again even though it appears most of their other reviews seem positive.

Even reached out asking for a reasonable explanation other than security concerns and was given the “as previously stated” and told the same nonsense.

EDIT in response to HSD. More nonsense spewed. The padlock you are referring to is the HTTPS? Which refers to the encryption on the website? Or another? Because every single HTTPS protected website(basically all websites out there these days) I’ve ever purchased from have not had this issue you claimed to have had with my order. The padlock has little to do with the processing of my payment.

To repeat. You are the ONLY ONE who has rejected my order on basis of security concerns. My credit score is perfect and my account funded. You lied and made excuses and I see now 2 others on here had the same thing happen. I even called you before ordering to ask? So at least offer a reasonable explanation?

If you refer to the padlock on the payment page, anyone including my 7 year old could make a website and put a padlock icon on the payment page, means F all.

Why accept Debit Card via Apple Pay if you’re going to reject it? Like I said. You are the first out of thousands of retailers I’ve ever used to take my money and then cancel order and make me wait 3 working days for my money for no reason at all! No decency to even give me any sort of reasonable explanation apart from “security concerns.”

Then when I ask to proceed to buy the item you tell me it’s no longer in stock, I even go as far as offering to send ID or paying alternate way a day later. I feel this was the original issue (not in stock) and you didn’t address it correctly at all at the point of taking my money!

You think your customers are stupid?

If I was able to attach screenshots of the emails I received when I questioned the reason for cancelling the order people would be shocked. Rude and dismissive and absolutely little information. Treat the customer like an idiot and anyone who doesn’t understand online purchases would be worried by the whole experience!

Just read their response to my review to see for yourself how pathetic an excuse this is! Just tell the truth, item was never in stock! And pay the extra for CHAPS not BACS. Because you failed online customers by not having stock but showing in stock, for out the extra few quid to get their money back to them within the same day!!

Always provide a top class service but that doesn't stop their courier DHL providing a terrible one. See previous review

I purchased an AC unit and they cancelled due to a ‘security reason’. If my order is cancelled the least they could do is give me a valid reason and not a rubbish excuse. Doing this in a middle of a heatwave is beyond disappointing to be honest. Not to be trusted

I had an item in my basket, went to get my payment card, came back and they had removed it from my basket. The item was then listed as ‘sold out’.

Really poor UX and awful purchasing system if it can’t even reserve an item and give you 2 minutes to make a payment.

Spot on. No issues. Products were delivered on the stated date. Good company to deal with.

Simple: I ordered the products and they did the rest. They informed me of my order and included the date in which it would arrive. Then gave me a way to track my parcel if desired and it arrived just as they stated. A great service.

I found the web site easy to navigate and once I located my product the purchase process was painless. I received clear instructions regarding delivery and the product arrived on the said date and time in good order

Not the sprayer that was advertised sent out, straps far to short. Not enough adjustment.
