I ordered furniture worth 4 lakh to be transported from Rajasthan to Trivandrum , Kerala. On its arrival the courier service colluded with the Union and I had to pay the Union and they dropped it at the basement. I had to ask for help to carry it to the 4th floor. Finally, I had to pay for assembling it. The wardrobe was cracked, book shelf broken, the ply of the sofa Bed torn and the study table broken. All the furniture was full of scratches. I asked them to replace it or help me for the repair. Numerous calls, Numerous mails and not a reply. To top it all, they have blocked my number at the customer care. Am contemplating whether to go to the consumer court or get legal help. This is how they serve the customers. They caused me financial loss as well as mental trauma. I have all the mails and conversation as proof.
My advice ,Buy from your local area. I was such a fool to buy from these unscrupulous Insaraf furniture.

Utterly disappointing. Do not buy from Saraf at all. I recently booked a solid wood 6 seater dining table from Saraf Furnitures, Thanisandra, Bangalore-560077 on 22nd October 2025, paying 50% advance payment, balance to be paid on delivery, where the manager promised delivery by 15th October. we followed up on call on 10th and 11th October, and were informed the shipments is delayed for some reason, and we will get our order delivered on or before 17th October. However, we followed up for a confirmation again on 12th October, and were informed that due to some quality issue, the shipment will be dispatched after Diwali. However, all the timelines committed to us have been blatantly missed, with no rhyme or reason. There is sheer lack of accessibility and responsiveness from the customer care ID and Number provided on their website. I would give negative stars, if google reviews had a setting for that available.

Saraf Furniture does not live up to their brand name. The quality of product and their service pathetic, especially if the product that is sent across is not satisfactory according to the customer. They just do not care, as a customer you can raise complaints over email, phone call or even at their outlets. It just does not make a difference to them. I would request customers to not order from them, if they send you the incorrect delivery, you are stuck and there is no resolution. They do not accept their mistake, they do not understand customer care. Please avoid buying from this brand. I am still waiting for a resolution to an order I had placed and they sent a product which was not the ideal size and have been waiting for a refund or a replacement for the past 2/3 months. They just don’t care.

My order date was 29.4.25 and my delivery date was 29.8.25. There is a call center and an email id to contact saraf. The process of your order starts from felling the tree to seasoning the wood to, the carpentry to the polishing to, the quality check to, the packing and sending. Further delays will happen if the weather in Rajasthan is bad- sand storms or floods. This is an online ordering platform but will take months to reach you. Don't expect anything quick as with amazon etc. Product is good for its price

⭐ 1-Star Review: My Nightmare Experience with Saraf Furniture (Insaraf.com)
I am writing this review after going through one of the worst e-commerce experiences of my life with Saraf Furniture (Insaraf.com). I strongly believe in e-commerce as a driver of India’s growth and have been shopping online since 2007, buying everything from electronics to furniture. Over the years, I have bought furniture from brands like Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, Amazon, Inamwar, Wooden Street, Creators Handicrafts, and FabIndia — and in all cases, even if they quote 30 days, products are delivered within 2–3 weeks maximum with professional service.
Saraf, despite calling themselves a ₹350 crore company, has failed miserably in execution, customer service, and integrity. Here’s my full story 👇

🚩 1. Order Placement & Initial Commitment
On 10 July 2025, I placed an order (No. INSF650072133) for a solid wood dining table worth ₹12,699/-, fully prepaid via UPI.
The committed delivery date was 07 August 2025.

🚩 2. Endless Delays & False Commitments
From that point, every call to their customer support turned into a joke. Their only job is to extend the delivery by another 7 days every time you call.
They never gave a concrete status, just hollow reassurances.
Actual updates came only when I wrote emails — their phone support is useless and misleading.
The timeline of false commitments looked like this:
07 Aug → 13 Aug → 14 Aug → 23 Aug → 24 Aug → 25 Aug → 17 Aug (arrival at NCR warehouse) → 18 Aug (delivery).
Every date was missed.

🚩 3. The Defective Delivery
Finally, after a month of chasing, the table was delivered on 19 August 2025. What I received was shocking:
1. Wrong dimensions – 31” delivered vs. 33.8” advertised. My existing chairs don’t even fit.
2. Wrong polish finish – I ordered “Honey,” but they delivered “Walnut.” It didn’t match my dining setup.
3. Defective build – Misaligned legs made the table wobbly and unstable. With a glass top, this was a serious safety hazard.
I immediately refused acceptance and returned the table to the courier on the spot, without signing the Proof of Delivery (POD).

Here’s where things got even worse:
Despite their own T&Cs stating refunds are processed within 7 days of return, no refund was initiated.
I had to raise a chargeback dispute with HDFC Bank (Ref. 79373934) under NPCI RC 1064 – Goods/Services Not Provided.
I escalated to NPCI and Razorpay (their payment aggregator).
Saraf kept stalling, finally claiming “refund has been processed through acceptance of chargeback, contact your bank”, but never shared UTR details or proof.
As of writing this review, the matter is still under bank dispute — meaning Saraf has not refunded voluntarily.

🚩 5. Lessons for Future Customers
If you’re considering Saraf, think twice. And if you’ve already placed an order, here’s how you can protect yourself:
1. Start following up aggressively after 3 weeks. Don’t wait passively.
2. Don’t trust their call center. Always email them so you have written proof.
3. Use UPI Chargeback: If paid by UPI, file a dispute with your bank within 45 days (Reason Code RC 1064 – Goods/Services Not Provided).
4. Escalate to NPCI: If your bank delays, NPCI can enforce reversal.
5. At delivery: Inspect thoroughly before signing POD. If wrong or defective, return immediately via courier. Do not sign.
6. Demand refund within 48 hours post-return and keep the chargeback case open until funds reflect.

I am a strong believer in e-commerce’s power to transform India. I’ve bought dozens of furniture pieces online from Urban Ladder, Pepperfry, Inamwar, Creators Handicrafts, Wooden Street, FabIndia, Godrej Interio, and Amazon — and not once did I face such blatant mismanagement, poor quality, and customer harassment.
Saraf Furniture may boast about being a ₹350 crore company, but without fixing execution and service failures, it is only a matter of time before customer trust collapses and their business follows.
For now, my recommendation is simple: Stay away from Saraf Furniture. Don’t risk your money, time, or peace of mind.

I made a terrible mistake of assuming that this online store was reliable and placed an order for 4 bedroom sets. The purchase and initial supply happened in December 2024, after we received all the furniture, their installer came over to install the furnitures, which was when we realized that one of the pieces was broken. Their installer immediately notified his coordinator and I had also informed the company about the damage. I was told by a customer care guy that a replacement would be sent to us, later upon calling, we were told that the broken piece would be picked up and only after that would the replacement arrive. We waited and waited for 6.5 months after which a customer service guy called Ankit Kumar said they would send a carpenter instead to fix it. I have been waiting since a week and now they say they will arrange a carpenter next week. There were 3 guys 1 spoke with in this company, Abhishek, who took the order who had claimed was the manager, was very good while he took the order but vanished after taking the order. Ankit Kumar and Arun Kumar both customer service representatives, who are good only at giving excuses. All together a very bad experience. they do not care about the customers. You can follow up and probably their expectation is that you would loose patience and give up, or you as a client would find an alternate solution as I am going to do. Waited patiently for 7.5 months and have decided to take the loss and learn from my mistake. I would definitely not recommend anyone else to buy from this company, if you have any quality issue, you will fall victim to these crooks.
