InsideJapan Tours Avaliações

We had a wonderful private tour of Japan due to our working with Inside Japan for planning. The activities, tours, hotels, and transportation all went smoothly and without a hitch. The guides were all very pleasant and knowledgeable. The printed itinerary available at our first hotel stay was nice to have in addition to the PDF on our phones. If you are planning a tour of Japan, don't hesitate hiring this company to plan it for you.

My wife and I have been fortunate to enjoy nearly annual trips together to many wonderful, far-flung destinations during 33 years of marriage. We both put our 2026 trip to Japan at the top of our all-time favorite and most memorable trips. Inside Japan did a fabulous job planning and organizing everything for us. The personal Guides and drivers they arranged for us in Tokyo and Kyoto were game changers. We also enjoyed relaxing and touring on our own in and around Hakone. We never expected it would be so fascinating to enjoy a private audience with a charming and fascinating Maiko -- a last-minute addition to our trip, all arranged by Inside Japan's local staff. Don't hesitate to book with them -- you will love what they arrange for you and how easy they make it to enjoy and immerse yourself in many wonderful and memorable experiences you will find only in Japan.

Working with inside Japan was a pleasure and we had an incredible holiday. They showed incredible attention to detail while also listening to the brief and going beyond expectations to fulfill every last element. I would recommend them to anybody.

The traditional Japan tour I booked as a self guided tour was 5* from beginning to end. Incredibly knowledgeable advice by Will and the team. From the moment the A5 "bible" handbook arrived prior to departure any worries I had about booking a self guided tour melted. It was a breeze. All railway and bus tickets and details of seat reservations waited for us on arrival in Tokyo.
The trip was a great mixture of city and beautiful countryside, giving us a great taste of this exciting destination.
All ground arrangements - accommodation and tours - were very good.
Funds permitting I will return and save myself a lot of time as I have no hesitation in using Inside Japan as my trusted, go to tour operator.

We were very impressed with the service offered by Inside Japan tours. Everything went smoothly and we enjoyed all of the destinations, particularly Takayama...thanks so much for the recommendation. Our booking contact was helpful and responsive to our accessibility needs. The guides were all lovely, easy going and informative. The transfers and train trips were seamless. All of the accommodation was comfortable and worked well for us.
We are really happy we used Inside Japan tours as it removed all the stress and indecision.

In addition to a previous review
Inside Japan were with us all the way. It was like having a private guide all the way 24 /7. This included pre abd post trip. Nothing was ever a problem

I booked mine through a independent company, l had 4 different itineraries to choose and you came out on top (thank god). From the first pickup at the airport to arriving in Tokyo and meeting Hanan, and the start of an amazing tour.Trains Buses, Taxi. Everything was spot on, the couture, the Temples, Shines, Castles and not forgetting the amazing Gardens. The food was a struggle on occasion but with a smile from Hanon and explanation we got through. What can l say about Hanon, thoughtful generous, pleased everyone nothing was to much trouble what a asset to the company, especially when you have strong minded people. I Can't pick a ny one thing it was all AMAZING a massive thank you very much for making my Japanese Experience

Excellent company to use, their planning organisation and information provided is exceptional. Very easy to follow in country information for a self guided trip. Wifi provided and all tickets prebooked made travel and directions really straightforwards. We covered the main sights of Japan on our tour and had 2 days with guides in Tokyo and Kyoto which made a change from self guided and gave helpful tips too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company or use them again for further travel in Japan.

I spent a lot of money on this trip and no one spent anytime reviewing it. How is it possible to go to a city and told to go to museums in Tokyo on a Monday that are all closed. This company does not know anything

The trip organized by your agency was truly exceptional. Thanks to you, we had the opportunity to see remarkable places, meet fascinating people, and fall in love with Japan. The itinerary you prepared was engaging and well planned , providing us with many unforgettable experiences and wonderful memories.

An exceptional travel experience; from our first contact with Inside Japan everything slotted into place perfectly. The booking process, all pre-tour information, the transfers, the hotels, the tour leader, the activities were all first class.
Japan itself exceeded our expectations many times over - can't wait to return.
Overall a wonderful adventure

The itinerary was really well planned, executed and captured what we had asked for. Hotels and connections all went to plan and instructions were easy to follow. Beyond the planning and booking stage the support whilst travelling was exceptional with real time responses to any issues including lost passports. Highly recommend

We have several friends who have booked through InsideJapan and have had wonderful experiences.

In our case we wanted to go see cherry blossoms on a delayed honeymoon. (Note that cherry blossoms don't always agree with the travel dates you scheduled in advance, but we got *phenomenally* lucky.) We also wanted to enjoy the food, learn about the culture, spend plenty of time soaking in onsen... so we ended up doing a 3 week trip.

InsideJapan arranged our airport pickup, hotels, private tours and experiences in every city, train travel between destinations, set us up with IC cards and a wifi dingus upon arrival, sent us EXTREMELY comprehensive guides of "How to Japan" and what to do in every destination... they made the trip *so easy*. And the additional (relatively minor) cost of booking through them was well worth it in how much time and frustration it saved us.

Highly recommended for anyone going to Japan who doesn't:
* speak fluent Japanese
* have a Japanese phone number
* have a Japanese bank account
* make phone calls during Japanese business hours
* know about things that aren't on Instagram

The basic process is:
* Contact them and say you want to go to Japan
* Have a call with one of their agents (Juliana S was amazing) to go over when you want to go and what you're interested in
* Review the initial proposal and make adjustments as you'd like
* Pay a deposit to get advance bookings started
* Don't stress out while they make everything happen behind the scenes
* Pay for the rest a couple months before the trip
* Get to your flight in one piece
* Enjoy the trip!

Very efficient planning/ booking. Tour and additional 4 day stopover very well managed. Accommodation v good/ high standard and super organisation and information from our tour leader. 2nd trip with IJ for me and highly likely to use again. Strongly recommended.

Inside Asia provided us a tour that gave us the amount of independence we enjoy. We had a couple of private tours scheduled upon arrival in Tokyo and Kyoto. These helped orient us to the public transport system and provided lessons in history. It was also nice to have a food tour, which showed us how to use the online and kiosk ordering systems. The lodging was a nice blend of western oriented hotels versus Japanese style lodging. We were provided with all of the train/bus tickets at the start of the trip. The directions for transportation were written out explicitly and proceeded flawlessly. Additionally, there was a layer of comfort, knowing that we had resources in country in case of an emergency. The information packet we received provided us with suggested sightseeing for our time in various cities. Of course there were too many choices for so little time! I guess that means we need to return.

We had an awesome time in Japan. Apart from the culture, cleanliness safety and respectful people, Inside Japan organised everything for us and everything went well. There were a couple of things we needed help with but were dealt with efficiently and all the food and day tours were great, with great guides. We would definitely recommend Inside Japan as a partner for your Japan travels.

Variety of experiences, sights, food, Lodging transportation. Excellent guide. Probably need a warning for seniors that trip is very active with lots of walking.

Wonderful guide, food and accommodations were average. Too many places with too little time to enjoy and see things.

Excellent SMALL group tour
Very well organized

Excellent service with “Inside Japan” every little detail was taken care of even to the side of a train you were travelling on to get the best views. We were extremely impressed and would have no hesitation in recommending this company
