I’m on the train ride home from my reveal session and damn do I feel a rush of confidence. I can’t wait to get my images out again and look at them. I need to create a shrine for them at home. Ange made me feel so comfortable at the consultation, she helped me to consolidate my ideas with excitement and direction. The makeup artist was talented and professional I felt at ease and as someone with sensitive skin all the products were hypoallergenic. Jo is so incredible at directing you into flattering and powerful poses. You can put your full trust in her to push you and make you look your best. The overall experience was comfortable and enjoyable. And I’m happy with how my pictures turned out and how empowered and sexy I feel! Jo and I worked together to create some more editorial looks with the Assistance of props. I would definitely recommend this to personalise your shoot. Her adaptability and knowledge of her craft is apparent. All the ladies at Johanna Elizabeth come across as authentic , genuine and professional.Thank you!

I don't think anything I can say will fully do the team justice because they are simply phenomenal!
From the first moment I went in for the consultation appointment Ange's bubbly personality made me feel at ease. I am plus sized and have quite a few concerns when it comes to my body however she was very understanding and settled a lot of the issues I was having.
When it came to the shoot day I was a ball of nerves but once again Ange and Jo made me feel so comfortable and with their excitable energy it was hard not to be excited too. Throughout the whole shoot Jo was encouraging and friendly and I quickly found my confidence. We were constantly talking for the whole session and it made everything feel a lot less daunting than I initially thought it would be.
The final photos almost made me cry because they were unbelievable and I couldn't believe it was actually me in the photos. It has made me appreciate my body more for what it is and I regularly look at the photos, especially when I need that confidence boost. And I've been showing off the photos to friends whenever I get the chance and their reactions are amazing.
I cannot recommend this team and experience enough! Jo, Ange and Rachel aren't just a photography team, they are also magic workers and your own personal hype team all rolled into one and I can't thank them enough for everything they've done.

All the ladies were phenomenal at making sure I was comfortable and reassured.

Ange was amazing at making me feel confident whilst posing. I had such a laugh with her and the ladies, it was a truly worthwhile experience and I highly recommend any woman that feels low with their self confidence, to visit these lovely ladies.

Just phenomenal. Jo and Ange are fantastic ladies who instantly make you feel comfortable and safe, to maybe take a step out of your comfort zone. Jo knows her skill inside and out and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Hoping I get back to the studio soon!

Amazing experience.. helped me see me through different eyes, my distorted view of myself has been completely turned around. I was made to feel amazing from my make up to the pictures being taken. I was ashamed of my body but Jo celebrated who I was, I saw my flaws but she made them look beautiful without covering the flaws up with props. Would definitely recommend women to go to Johanna Elizabeth to show you you are a strong confident woman and should be proud of yourself. You are worth it!!

I had the pleasure of having a boudoir shoot worth £250 gifted! It was amazing! I highly recommend if you want to leave feeling amazing about yourself! The photos cost extra at the end but totally worth it as you’ll never get pictures of such a high quality again! 10/10 experience I felt so comfortable and loved every second! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

was lucky enough to win a compliment shoot with these amazing women and from the get go, they were so easy to talk to and eased any anxieties over the shoot. I’m definitely not the most camera confident; try to avoid being in group photos with my drop dead gorgeous friends or hiding my body at the back of photos but these girls really helped bring some of that confidence with my photos! I am so pleased with how they turned out and I can’t stop looking them and still can’t believe that they’re me! These group of ladies are phenomenal and anyone doubting to do their own needs to just dive right in cause you won’t regret it x

I entered a competition to win a free photoshoot and was so nervous as have always had such low confidence but the whole process I was made to feel special and relaxed. On the day of the shoot I was so nervous I don't like looking at myself fully clothed in a mirror let alone going bare in front of a stranger but Jo made the whole experience amazing I was laughing and smiling and just having fun. on the day of the reveal I was a mess, Angela took me in to see my pictures and I actually broke down in tears I couldn't believe the woman in those photos was actually me. You guys are truly amazing and have made me start to love who I am. thank you for everything.

I was lucky to win an empowerment shoot with this amazing team of ladies. When I first filled the form in, I had thoughts of ‘what am I doing?’, ‘I hate my photo being taken’ but from the reviews I had read about boudoir shoots in general, I thought it would be good for my confidence. From the initial phone call, to the design consultation, the actual shoot and finally the reveal, Angie and Jo were so warm and welcoming, they made me feel so at ease. I felt so comfortable and happy while I was having the shoot, which was so weird for me but I enjoyed the feeling so much. Jo is such a lovely, funny and bubbly person and honestly, I don’t think I could have asked for a better photographer to have taken my photos! The reveal session was spectacular, it was emotional and so difficult to choose my favourites but I narrowed it down to a few and I’m so happy I did the shoot and bought the proof that I did do it. If anyone is thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, I could not recommend Joanna Elizabeth enough, such a professional and sensational team. This was just what I needed at just the right time!!
Having been through a rough separation and losing my self confidence over the last decade, I knew I needed something to bring me out of my shell…. in steps Jo & Ange!! I was lucky to win a competition through social media and I felt loved, cared for and believed in from the minute I was was contacted. My nerves melted away after my first meeting with Ange and then excitement took over. Jo is such a professional and made me feel like an absolute beauty.
The pictures…..I have no words. They were simply beautiful. I now have stunning pictures to show my daughter just how fearce I am!!!

Oh my goodness... Where to begin. I'm not body confident, and I have very limited experience in front of a camera, so I was kind of jumping in at the deep end! Ange really put me at ease on the phone and at my consultation, and Jo was so amazing on the day. I had so much fun and felt SO good about myself afterwards, and that was without even seeing the photos! That said, I may have taken about 12-15 photos of my make-up because I'm not sure I'll ever look that good again... It really felt like spending time with friends you've known for years. Jo made sure we got everything I wanted, and on my reveal day I was so surprised at which ones I chose to take home, but they were all gorgeous. I couldn't recommend doing this enough; it's good for the soul! Thank you so much x

They say things happen for a reason, the right place at the right time! I did a thing :), it was for me and for me alone.

My content and consistent life as I knew it was over in a blink of an eye and then suddenly in the center of my hurricane was this team of outstanding women to help pick me up.
As part of my healing process and quest to rediscover "who am I" I went on a journey with Jo, Ange and Rachel. One that will forever form the foundations of my rebuilding.

Together they helped turn a negative life experience in to the most positive, exhilarating and empowering one. Tears were shed, lips and eyes smiled, and my heart stopped for a beat "is this really me?" For the first time I was able to see myself through my own eyes and not through the eyes of a man that was intent on crushing me.

I walked in to the studio a heartbroken women with clipped wiling, I walked out no longer falling and feeling stronger than ever.

Ange took away my vulnerabilities and wrapped me in a bubble of supportive comfort, encouraging me to believe in myself.
Rachel made me feel beautiful and at ease, I appreciate you sharing some great beauty tips.
Jo captured my organic truth and honesty in every image, each one having reason and meaning for me.

I was lucky enough to win a complimentary shoot after, something I was not expecting, but I was made to feel at ease throughout the whole process, from the initial call, right the way through to seeing the final results. What can I say - the most empowering experience. There wasn’t time to be nervous, Jo and the team put you totally at ease and everyday I look at my photos and they make me smile. These were for me, to help me feel good about my post cancer body and to celebrate the changes I have been through over the past year.

I had such a good experience with Jo she was amazing and fun and made all my nerves go away. She made me feel 100% comfortable and I would recommend her to anyone. The whole team made sure that this was about me and what I wanted and saw. Seeing my final photos made me cry and it was an emotional experience but so worth it. I think everyone should get this experience once in their life, because we are all worth it and deserve to see ourselves in all our beauty.

From the first email and phone call, I felt as though I was chatting to old friends and so it was easy to share the reasons behind why I wanted this shoot and what I wanted to get out of it. We had a long consultation on plans for the shoot and I knew exactly what to expect on the day. I had the absolutely best day when the shoot came around and any nerves quickly disappeared post make-up and we tried all sorts of different poses, playing around and I have never enjoyed a shoot experience more. The photos were all so stunning it was difficult to choose, but I was able to take all the time I needed and wow, am I happy with the set that I chose. I'd recomment Jo and the team to any woman who wants to feel like the absolute Queen they are, even if they've never tried a shoot before - the lovely team will look after you!

The people are super warm, the experience is luxurious and the end result of the pictures is mindblowing. I could not believe my eyes as I had a fairly good idea what the pictures would look like. Even then I was left speechless by the exceptional quality of the photos produced. Had planned to buy 1 picture but ended up going for the full collection.
Definitely an experience worth cherishing!

This photoshoot helped me get what I`ve been craving for a long time -healing, closure, boost of confidence, a new perspective. The pictures are so gorgeous, and the photoshoot itself was such a lifetime experience - it wasn`t just a photoshoot, it`s not just pictures, it was the punch of life telling you just BE.
