At a time when I was feeling the most self conscious about my body, this photo shoot helped me to feel confident, empowered and most of all in love with my changing figure! Johanna and her team were consummate professionals from start to finish. My experience started with my curiosity and a desire to do something outside my comfort zone to build my confidence. Johanna has an incredible aura and makes you feel totally comfortable and relaxed in a very short space of time. If you are reading reviews on Johanna Elizabeth, don't hesitate. Just book yourself in and do the shoot. You will not regret it because no matter how empowered and how confident you are, doing the shoot and seeing the photos will only make you even more confident in yourself.
When I arrived, I was nervous. It was difficult not to, because you know you will be in front of a few strangers, probably going to wearing very little. But within minutes, the Jo and her crew made me felt comfortable and they were all so warm and friendly. The photoshoot experience was definitely not one you will expect, it was like a work out, it might feel a little uncomfortable but at the same time you realised it is things that you do, just the poses were just a little exaggerated. The props are beautiful, Jo was very experienced in telling you how to pose, and she will help you to make sure you are showing your best. After I finished, I was buzzing - I just want to go out, want to shout and tell people how confident I felt and I want to do it all over again.
When I saw my photos a few weeks later, I was so shocked I didn't know what to say except for 'wow' over and over again until I realised my knees were going a little weak and I sat on the floor staring at photos of myself looking absolutely fabulous, and my head kept saying 'WAS THAT ME? HOW IS THAT ME'. The photos are amazing and it was impossible to choose just one so I got them all in a beautiful box. This is one of the most amazing experience I have ever had. Jo and her team are a wonderful group of amazing, fabulous and positive ladies who are friendly and welcoming. I was very nervous when I arrived, but they they were full of smile and hugs the moment I walked in and within minutes I felt comfortable and completely at ease. The afternoon went smoothly, it felt very personal and I was buzzing when I left, high on adrenaline and I felt like I was on the top of the world. A few weeks later when I went to my photo reveal session, Jo hugged me the moment I walked through, gave me a cup of coffee and covered my eyes. When I saw my photos, all I can say was 'wow' over and over again, and I literally have to sit on the floor because I was shaking - the photos were amazing and I couldn't put into words what I was feeling.

Lovely company with a relaxing atmosphere made me feel confidant enough to enjoy the experience.

This was so it off my comfort zone but I was made to feel amazing and comfortable.
After 2 kids and losing 2 stone I need to feel happy with myself again and after getting my photos I definetly do. Although my husband knew what sort of photos I was having done he saw none of my outfits and I kept it all very quiet until I got the photos. It was lovely seeing his reaction to them and had definetly given me so much confidence back.
I am so happy with them and part of me wants to show them to everyone!
Everyone in the team was so friendly and really made me feel comfortable, I would honestly this to every women I know as we all need that boost at someone and more I will always have some amazing photos to look back on and remind me.

Jo and her team made me feel so comfortable and welcome from the very beginning. I left every meeting with them (whether telephone, virtual or in person) feeling absolutely empowered and inspired.

It’s such a special feeling to be treated so well when doing something completely out of your comfort zone. You feel looked after.

I can’t even explain what they have done for me- my confidence has improved ever since and I am beyond thankful for the experience.

I can not put into words how great my expirence was.
I have struggled with my body image since I have put on weight and have very little body confidence.
I went in very nervous and ange was so reassuring and went through everything with me. I left my first appointment feeling much better about how things would be on the day.
On the day I went in feeling nervous again and again jo and the ladies were amazing. Made me feel so comfortable. After getting in my underwear I felt very exposed but again jo was amazing at making me feel so relaxed. She talked me through everything she wanted me to do. I left the studio feeling so good about myself.
On photo reveal day again I was nervous about seeing myself like that but the pictures were stunning. I was so over whelmed and speechless. I've never seen myself that way and it's made a step to me starting to like myself again. For that I am forever grateful.

Back in December I had a photo shoot with Johanna Elizabeth.
Due to issues in my life last year my self esteem was low. The photo session was part of me rebuilding, finding me again.
Though it does start with Ange first then Rachel and of course Johanna coaxing the best from you !
The reveal and picking those portraits you like the most isnt easy ...picking the one i wanted as a framed portrait was easier. The date to get this one hasnt been made yet ..but it will be over my bed when i bring it home.
I have insecurities about parts of my body Johanna worked with me .

I absolutely loved every second of my experience from start to finish with Johanna and her team. I felt so well looked after and honestly.. I felt like I was spending time with old girlfriends. I felt so comfortable with Johanna and she managed to capture some absolutely stunning photos I'll treasure forever. Wow, what a journey.
Originally I signed up to see what would happen - not thinking it would impact me as deeply as this experience has.

I’ve always struggled with body positivity and this experience has literally blown all of that negative feeling away.

Ange mentioned on my consultation that this experience would be fun and enjoyable. She understood that I would be nervous to begin with but she did also say that I would warm up and begin to enjoy myself.

The day of the shoot Jo was so lovely and warming. I put on my lingerie and felt completely embarrassed but no made me feel completely comfortable and at ease straight away. I never felt awkward during my shoot. Trust me the girls know what they are doing. Jo can see your beauty even when you don’t feel it!

At my reveal session I was incredibly nervous about what my photos would look like and how they had turned out. I honestly was not prepared for what I was about to see. I was lost for words completely and even now I am still wordless.

I will forever cherish these photos of myself and I highly recommend this for any women to feel bold! It’s a truly unforgettable experience!

I’ve never had photos of myself that I could look at with this much joy and be proud of the way that I looked. Now I have 12 gorgeous prints that I’ll never stop wanting to look at!

When Ange says that you will love your photos, BELIEVE HER. She is 100% correct.
I was completely blown away and cried with joy at the reveal session. I knew Jo was talented from her portfolio of photos, but I never dreamed that my photos would turn out so good!

The whole experience was an adventure and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Ange and Jo were wonderful throughout and made me feel so welcome and well looked after. The shoot was so much fun and I felt like I was in very safe hands from the moment I rang the doorbell.

If you are on the fence and not sure, I want this to be your sign to just do it! Ange and Jo will hold your hand and guide you through the process with your best interests in mind throughout. Treat yourself, you won’t regret it.

I am still in awe looking at my portraits! From setting appointments, planning the shoot, make up, photoshoot itself up to the reveal session, this team of amazing women surpassed my expectation! As I browse the portraits by Johanna Elizabeth, it showed me lots of empowered women who inspired me to jump on to this journey of self love.

This year, I decided to give and show myself a little more love and appreciation... so I decided to have the photoshoot with Johanna Elizabeth. I used to be self conscious with how I look in general and that made my confidence so low. At first I was thinking, "how will I look?" "What if I won't look nice on the photos?"... lots of questions but the moment I walk in to the studio... all of my fears and worries were instantly gone! Jo made me comfortable and confident... I can see her passion while taking the photos which made me feel more empowered and positive in doing the poses. After the photoshoot, I can still feel that I'm in cloud nine and couldn't wait for the reveal session!

And the moment of truth came.. Ange showed me my portraits and I don't even know what to say! Everything feels surreal! I think I just gave myself the best birthday and Christmas gift ever... and it is more than just the portraits... it's self love and self value. I wouldn't feel that without the help of Jo and her team. I couldn't thank them enough for making me feel this way. This is truly an amazing experience and I would definitely do it again! Great job ladies! Continue empowering and making women beautiful in their own way!

I honestly can't express enough how wonderful Johanna and her team are!

I was super nervous about doing the shoot but also excited as I have always wanted to try it out. I am a bigger girl (UK 16-18) and of course I was worried, however there was absolutely no need to be. Johanna was an amazing support and encouraged me throughout the whole shoot, I found this confidence that I really enjoyed. She made me feel comfortable and we had a good giggle throughout.
The final images were incredible! Better than I could have ever imagined. Johanna and her team truly understood the assignment.
I would 100% recommend Johanna Elizabeth to anyone who fancies a go at Boudoir because you will walk away with the most stunning images of your life.

This was the most amazing experience, my self confidence is very low and I suffer mildly from body dysmorphia, so this was completely out of my comfort zone.
Johanna and Ange made me feel so welcome, loved and worthy! I then went on holiday and was brave enough to walk round in a bikini!

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Johanna and her team! They all made me feel so welcome and put me right at ease. I had never done anything like this before but had nothing to worry about because Johanna was on hand to pose me for every picture. I really enjoyed the experience and ended up having a really good laugh it was like spending the afternoon with friends! I felt absolutely liberated when I had finished the shoot and was on a high for days! At my reveal session I couldn’t believe the person in the pictures was actually me! Where do I even begin? I was so lucky to of been selected for a complimentary shoot with Johanna Elizabeth. It is definitely not something I would have even dreamt of booking off my own back suffering with severe body insecurities. From start to finish these ladies have been outstanding. From our first zoom call to my reveal. I was made to feel relaxed and at ease through the whole process and the buzz after, WOW!! I have finally seen myself in a different light and have never felt so empowered or sexy in my entire life especially after two children. I had an amazing day here at the studio for my boudoir shoot!
Such a lovely team of professionals right from the start of booking.
They’re extremely well organised, everything is done to the letter T so they know exactly what you’re looking for on the day (even if you don’t know yourself!)
My make up and hair were absolutely stunning, I was made to feel like an absolute queen!
The shoot was fantastic, some of the poses I chose weren’t easy to hold for extended periods so that’s a little thought to bear in mind as we’re all informed of in the very helpful little guide booklets, some were much harder than I thought they would be!
The photos are stunning, I accidentally bought them all and I love them! Not sure what I’m going to do with them… treasure as a memory I guess!
I highly recommend the team here, a huge difference to the boudoir shoot I had many years ago, complete cut above and beyond! This company screams professionalism and will 100% do you proud!
