The whole of the trip with KCC was fantastic! Simon was alway on hand to provide excellent advice before the trip and the team of porters/chefs and guides during the climb were great. In particular Ewaldi (aka Professor), David (Rafiki) and Paul were such a huge support and friendly throughout. The safari after the climb was very rewarding and Ombeni was so impressive with his knowledge of the wildlife and where to get the best views of the most sought after animals. It was all in all, a great trip!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Kilimanjaro Climbing Company. Our guides Prosper & Isaac are total experts. They were kind, fun, and very professional in guiding us up the mountain. We really appreciated their expertise. We hiked the Machame route.

We trekked the Lemosho Route and did a 4 day Safari with KCC.
Throughout booking Simon was really helpful, and gave us lots of info, advice and reassurance. On the trek, the crew were amazing setting up a comfortable camp, food was plentiful and tasty and the guides Prosper and David where patient and set the pace just right. The Safari was excellent, with Ombeni the guide being knowledgable and making sure we got to see as many animals as possible. A really great company which made it a holiday of a lifetime.

We did the Lemosho trek (8 days) and it was an amazing, KCC provided an excellent experience, helping us through the trek to make sure we reached the top.
After this we then did the three night safari which was fantastic, saw the big 5 as well as many other animals.
The whole service was very professional and excellent customer service before, during and after.

Our experience with Kilimanjaro Climbing Company was top notch. The entire trip we couldn't stop commenting on how well planned our itinerary was and how nice everyone was that we dealt with from the company. The climbing team was class from top to bottom, they took great care of us on the mountain. Special shout outs to Chief Prosper, David, Isaac and Chef.

We really appreciated the personal visits to the hotel in between each trip. Joffrey and Prosper genuinely seemed like they cared about us and if we were having a good time.

Finally, thanks to Simon for all the information pre-trip, I chose KCC because of his insight and knowledge about the operation.

While we may not have made the summit due to my altitude sickness we will be back next year (adding an extra day on the mountain and some serious Diamox) and will be using KCC again!

At the end of March, me and my friend decided to climb the Kilimanjaro through KCC. To be honest I think it was he best company (team) we could choose. Simon was super helpful, answering all of our questions, always looking to give us the best possible service. He even helped us to plan our holidays after the 6 days on Kilimanjaro.

The team of 10 porters and 2 guides (Prosper & David) were AMAZING. The team was full of energy always taking care of ourselves, helping us and literally you could see that they really enjoyed what they do. The food was delicious (thank you Chef) and the conditions of the equipment were great.

Climbing Kilimanjaro Mountain is not easy but it’s a fantastic experience. But all this greatness depends on the team of porters & guides that will take care of you. Trust me KCC it’s a very professional company that won’t disappoint you.

After Kilimanjaro, we booked with them 2 days safari. The lodge where we spent the night was absolutely fantastic, Maramboi lodge. Great service, great staff, great view. Our guide was professional and because of him we could spot our favorite animals during this 2 days.

To finish the best trip of my life, we flew to Zanzibar. As soon as we arrived our driver was waiting for us. Everything was booked and organized.

From the moment we arrived in Arusha to the moment we left Zanzibar. KCC took control of absolutely everything. Great logistic, great organization and great service.

A great experience from the moment we arrived at the Kilimanjaro airport until we departed. Our mountain guides John and Isack were absolutely awesome. Our team of porters were also awesome. After our climb we had a wonderful 5 day safari with another awesome guide Abu.

Climbing kilimanjaro with KCC was an excellent experience. We were totally confident they knew exactly what they were doing so we could relax and concentrate on what was already a tough challenge. The food was excellent, having our own toilet was excellent and the guides were top too.

Without question I recommend KCC. The booking process with Simon is friendly and efficient, with Simon answering my endless questions in a friendly manner. The guides and KCC team on the mountain couldn’t be friendlier - they work so hard to give you the best experience and best chance of getting to the top. The food is excellent and compared to the other companies we saw, KCC is miles ahead in their professional approach. I completely endorse KCC!!

The trip of a lifetime. We did the Rongai route and summited Dec 22. Prosper, Amedeus and their crew were amazing. After the trek, Bacari lead us on a 5 day safari. Everyone’s knowledge and professionalism was beyond belief. Yes, at times a trip like this can have challenges but there is no company we would have rather been with than KCC.

Fantastic experience summiting Kilimanjaro with this company. As a vegan, food was a big concern for me, but the chef produced great food and plenty of it, and I had absolutely nothing to worry about. The equipment was very good and in good condition. The guides were keen to share their knowledge of the mountain whilst also making sure we were safe. If I do it again, I will definitely use this company once more.

I was recommended KCC by a friend , who climbed with them last year. I’m really happy I decided to go with KCC. Their organization and attention to detail was outstanding. Even though the weather conditions were pretty bad , the guides kept our spirits high and we all managed to summit. Top food , top crew, top trip.

It had been a dream for about 15 years to go to the highest point of Africa. When I got the opportunity to go I heard good recommendations about KCC from former students at the school I was working at as a teacher (Zanzibar Adventure School). All organisational parts was great. Quick and good response from Simon whenever we had questions or worries. Extremely great team on the mountain - everybody from the chef, to guides, to lifters and all the others was very friendly, in good mood and was taking really good care of us from early morning until bedtime. The food was fantastic. We were a group of 12 and we all made it to the top. When someone needed an ekstra pause or had to walk in a slower pace the guides didn't push unnecessarily - but just enough to go an extra mile and then some. There was good spirit and patience. I felt that we were in very good hands and it was a true pleasure also to get to know the guides. Without them I would probably be stuck up there scared of sliding or walking down from there. It was an amazing, spectacular and a deep-felt beautiful experience. KCC gets my warmest of recommendations. Thank you, guys!

I did not climb Kilimanjaro but spent 6days in Arusha and Zanzibar taking in the local sights arranged by KCC. I found all the arrangements were excellent. We were met at the airport by KCC staff who were efficient, friendly and helpful.
The accommodation in both Arusha and Zanzibar was of a good standard. Very clean and comfortable.
I have no difficulty in recommending KCC
