24 Brownies (7 - 10 years) visited Kingswood Peak Venture (September 2024) for a weekend and had a wonderful time. The activities were great and the staff had just the right balance of being informative and conveying safety information whilst making everything fun. Happy girls, happy leaders - lots of fantastic memories.

A fantastic weekend for our brownies aged 7-10. The staff and instructors went further to make this soo.

If you search this hotel online it will look like a picturesque old English school. This however was the reception. The building that contains the rooms is a large square concrete building. My room contained stained pillows. There was a dust layer of around half a centimetre inside the radiator. The toilets are shared. Very convenient when travelling with a group of 56. The showers are shared as well with see trough curtains. The room was very small. The food was terrible. The room has very thin walls and you will hear your neighbours. The fire alarm is very sensitive. We figured this out after spraying deodorant once.

The staff are great and as a 10 year old i found that as on of my favorite residential what i think they should work on is a black dog that recently got lose and on the zipline you dont have a choice whether to or not go on it (the instructor will force you )

This awful accommodation is actually terrible it’s the worst place I’ve been in my life the showers are not private and anyone can walk in and STARE at you the toy lets are disgusting there was a pee stain on my bed I’m never going back here again the first time I went to my room it was so awful is started crying and throwing up the food here was also DISGUSTING and rancid I hated it we all started celebrating when we didn’t have to go there again and don’t even get me started on the matress it feels like they bought it on AliExpress the springs are so awful I felt like I was getting sprinkle jet like god damn five nights at Freddy’s if you don’t want food poisoning a TIA or scoliosis don’t come here please

We had the best time at Kingswood. I booked 2 afternoon activities for a group of 15 for a team building day. We did crate stack and buggy building. These were perfect to get the team working together and also we were constantly laughing the whole time. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Retreat
Hosted an event for our charity at GreenPark and had an exceptional time with both kids and the elderly. From the outdoor activities, archery, abseiling to the campfire, there was something for everyone. Special thanks to the team there who were able to accommodate the "extras" we requested

My son, his friends and cousins had a fantastic day at Kingswood. The leaders were amazing. They were kind, helpful, friendly and supportive. They went above and beyond to make our day great. The children had many turns on each activity and want to return another day.

We had a great away day at Inspiring Learning today. Sara, Katie and George were all superb at making sure we had a good time and that everything ran smoothly. A great mix of activities, lots of fun. Thanks so much.

We have just had a family activity session at Dukeshouse Wood and had the best time!

The session was well planned. The timings are perfect to allow for an opportunity for the whole group to try each activity more than once if they choose too. The activities promote independence but also safety and resilience too.

The team were very welcoming and made sure we knew what facilities we could access and they all introduced themselves and remembered everyone’s name in the party too.

Overall a very good day well spent for both the adults and the children and we would love to come back

Today I visited dukeshouse wood with my 4 children, all different ages. What a day weve had! A special mention to Erin, what a fantastic activity leader. She was brilliant with the kids, taught them new skills fire building, encouraging them on the high ropes, understanding their individual limits. Very supportive, friendly, just an amazing person. A huge thanks to Ella, Kieran and Anne. All lovely, thanks for the friendly welcome. Definitely cant wait to go back.

Slop for food, my daughter hardly ate! rooms have mold on the walls, cracks and damage everywhere, showers had one temp "too hot" cant being a cat in a room for 5. 300 per child!.

Had a fantastic experience at Dukes House Wood yesterday with lovely weather to cap off a brilliant day. The staff were very helpful. Top praise to Anne for being so professional and supportive when it got hectic with so many people.

Visited Dukeshouse for 2nd year running. Was expecting a similar experience as last year. However, was expecting a hot lunch but due to other groups having hot food provided, we were provided with a packed lunch which we had to eat outside. There was also genital graffitti on some of the picnic tables that wasnt freshly done. Not ideal to see with younger children in our party.

Activities wise - we were limited to 4 during the day, 3g swing wasnt allowed as our instructor wasnt qualified. The kids were looking forward to this. Shorter times allocated would have allowed more activities to be done. Its doesnt need 1.5 hrs per activity.

What a fantastic site, large, safe and well managed. Great to see young people from all over the country engaged in exciting well organised activities.
