This business advertises that they have something in stock. When they actually do not. I ordered biofinity toric contact lenses. A few days later I got an email saying that the order was delayed 7-10 business days. 7-10 business days I called them and they said it was going to be 7-10 business days more. No notification, no email, I had to call them. Absolute waste of your time. Do not buy from them.

Even though I receive reminders about 3 weeks in advance to running out of my lenses, I'm the type to do everything last minute. Time and time again, I get the lenses I need from LensDiscounters.com. As a cherry on top, my contact lens purchase included a e-voucher that I redeemed for a free pair of glasses that would normally cost $39.90 with shipping from LensDiscounter's value frame section. I was able to upload my photo and see an accurate size ration of the frames virtually on my face. I love the glasses- they look and feel as though they must have cost you more than $40 to make-- giving them to me as a gift is highly appreciated and the gesture will remain with me forever.

Absolutely awful customer service and cheap product. Stand clear of this organization. They do not stand behind their product and their website is meant to rope you in to having to make purchases with them even though their products are subpar. Save yourself time and energy, do NOT buy from them. There are plenty of other eye glass vendors.

I'm always happy with the speed of service, the friendly emails and the fair prices. Have been every 6 months or so since 2009. All my lens wearing family shops here too now. I did experience a delay once however, this time around. I asked for an agent that I had dealt with before, and she gave me an honest, upfront answer regarding an issue/delay that affected my type of lens. Her attitude was pleasant to say the least and its this type of service that keeps me coming back. The order shipped in 4 days versus the 7 that she quoted from the time I called. I understand that these things happen from time to time, and I am totally fine with it. Thanks

The first order of lenses was completely fine. The second, true to other reviews I 've read, Lensdiscounters charged my credit card and then sent me an email saying my lenses were on backorder. Two weeks later I contact them and the lenses are still on backorder and no indication to the customer service person as to when they would NOT be on backorder. She wanted to contact shipping and then call me back by end of day with the answer from shipping. I lodged a complaint with her that when on backorder my card should not be charged! Other merchants recognize that until the product is available, no sale has occurred. I cancelled my order and will not be a future customer. Oh, and due to NO delivery of my order I have to go buy the lenses elsewhere anyways.

I would recommend this company.

Ordered my Biofinity lens 6/19/15 and was not told until 6/30 that they were on back order and I would be notified when shipped. That was 2 wks after ordering! No notification came and and when I called on 7/1, I was told they were shipping that day. Rec'd notification 7/3 (!) that lens just shipped. Not good PR. Not satisfied w/ service.

I placed my order for contacts ONE MONTH ago and have called them twice over that span of time asking for an update on my order. They say the lenses are on backorder with CooperVision and it is out of their hands. That was two weeks ago. I called a week ago and got the same story. It would be one thing if their website stated that the lenses were on backorder/out of stock, but it didn't and gave every impression they would be able to fulfill my order in a timely manner. Truly awful service and not worth the $5 I saved by not ordering from my usual contact service.

I will never place an order with this company again. After placing my order, I was notified that there was a back order with the manufacturer, and that it would be 5-7 business days before shipment. When I didn't receive my contacts after that time period, I called and was told I'd have to wait another week. I called the manufacturer and was told that there were no issues with their stock of lenses. After calling Lensdiscounters the following week, I was again told they were still waiting for their shipment and they couldn't tell me when I could expect delivery. Then I called 1-800-CONTACTS and gave them my prescription. My lens have gone out and I will get them OVERNIGHT! I don't know why Lensdiscounters was having so much trouble and felt they were very unprofessional in their service.

I Love Lens discounters! I order my contact lenses and I have them within 2 days. I have been ordering here for over 2 years now and was never disappointed. I would highly recommend Lens discounters to everyone in need of good lenses and excellent service.

excellent care and very easy to order

I started ordering from you guys in 2007 and watched you grow. You always shipped my orders in a timely fashion with reasonable shipping fees. 99% of the time they were shipped the same day. Now you you are overcharging for shipping and shipping the following day. I was promised my contacts would be shipped that day but they were not. The 2 day business shipping turned into 3 days. So your company grew and your service is not what it used to be. You may lose some customer because with the new shipping rates and inability or desire to ship out the same day . Good Luck but you are no longer the desired place to order contacts online.

I am so happy with this company! Prices are awesome I saved so much compared to ordering through my eye doctor. Perscription verification and shipping were extremely fast. I will recommend LD to everyone I know!!! Couldn't be happier :)

My eye doctor wanted to charge me double per box (for Air Optix for Astigmatism) compared to the price on lens discounters. I was ecstatic to see that I was able to order a year supply of contacts for 50% off my eye doctors price. I placed the order late on a Friday and I didn't expect it to be processed until Monday and I figured with delivery time I wouldn't see my contacts for another week. Well Monday the 24th came, and I received them Thursday the 27th. That to me is fantastic especially considering I had torn a contact the night before. I will absolutely be ordering from them again
