No communication skills, won't return calls, won't answer emails. Just want you to make applications with out viewing the property.
Not sure that's even legal with the new renters bill. Looking at other reviews, think I dodged a bullet.
Shame for the landlord though, I expect he could of rented the property 10 times over had someone just picked up the phone.
Ive been using Lime Property to manage a property for me for more than 10 years so i have plenty of experience of dealing with these absolute cowboys... The staff turn over is massive, i must deal with somebody different every time i eventually get through to them......They are lazy, unresponsive, and can actually be argumentative and defensive on the phone.............absolute joke of a company.
Be warned "spoof company" Complete & utterly useless !!
They don't give a s..t about your needs!!
No personal touch whatsoever, they may as well be a BOT....Infact they are!!
*They never answer emails
*They never pick up your calls
*They expect you can decide on a property by simply looking on-line at some ' ENHANCED ' photos which are usually back -dated.
They want you to ' Make an offer' without seeing the property in person .." Saves time" they say !!
How can you take the risk & money by using this method?

Worst agency ever. Do not use them. Untrained staff working remotely without a clue about property. Been accused of damaged in property which they can't proof with any pictures. Worst experience ever. Avoid!
Lime is one of the worse estate agent in the whole United Kingdom, here is my experience, lime advertise property at 26 mallard Road Hull Hu9 4uj, I approached lime for buying the property as a cash buyer, proof of funding was sent to lime, then I received an email discussing the price, so I put straight away to them that I put £10000 more than the asking price and told them that anyone bid more i will go higher, now listen to this lime representative call Kim Matthews sending me an email saying the buyer decided to sell it to someone else despite they offering less than me, hence they are mortgage buyer and I am cash buyer, it's just because I am forginer and not English despite I hold British passport and my wife was white English and my daughter was born here we all English, Kim Matthews some how doesn't like my beautiful forgin name, then I found out that the house still for sale and I still been refused by Kim Matthews, now you are the people of great Britain decide if this is not racism and discrimination by Kim Matthews, I truly believe that the seller knows neither lime management what damage Kim Matthews causing lime company, what Kim Matthews doesn't know that we live closely to the property and nabours told me that the seller not aware of what Kim Matthews doing, so forgin people be aware of lime estate agent when you decide to buy or rent property, they absolute disgrace
My god where do I start, absolute shambles of a company, they never answer calls or queries and the agents that do answer are working remotely and have no purpose other then passing messages, decisions made that affect the tenants without their knowledge.
Spent all morning clearing up a mess they about charging energy supplier without my consent.

I rented a house from Lime Property Hull on 2025 May 12 after viewing it through a video, but the actual condition is nothing like what was shown. I moved in with my 5-months-old baby and my wife.The boiler not working, the house full of dust, and completely unclean. I’m paying £700 a month for a place that’s unsafe and unfit to live in. I contacted the council, and even they said Lime Property has a bad reputation. This has caused me stress and discomfort. I feel completely misled. Please think thousand time before renting from them. They are the wast lettings agents I have ever meat in UK. #terminateLimeproperty
Best property agency in Hull, very nice staff - especially Ms Ilona which stay 15min after closing only to print my tenancy agreement 🥰🥰🥰 thank you and can recommend Lime to everyone:)
