About Littlefair's
Back in 2001, Les G. Littlefair began stocking wood stain products in his Darwen based bric-a-brac shop and soon noticed how well the products sold. As a joiner with an eye for perfection, he believed he could create an even better product that could enhance any untreated wood. After months of perfecting a product that was easy to use, environmentally friendly and beautiful to look at, Les began selling his first range. It wasn’t long until the success of his products enabled him to leave the bric-a-brac trade and concentrate on cultivating his own brand.
Based in Blackburn, Littlefair’s are multi award winning manufacturers of water-based wood dyes, varnishes, finishing oils and wax polishes. In addition to selling online we supply a number of trusted stockists – please look on the ‘find a stockist’ section on our website to locate your nearest stockist!
We were delighted recently to land the 2021 Distinction Award for Customer Service Excellence, awarded by SME News, as our values centre around providing the finest quality products and great customer service. I’ve just gave my acoustic slat wall a coat of Ebony Stain, it has totally revamped it, it looks new, the stain was easy to apply & went on evenly, with no patching, great product.

Good products
Good products, not cheap but reasonable prices. Wood dye did not turn out anything like the darkish grey on the label, even after two coats. Had to buy a black dye and mix it to get near the shade required. Otherwise good company to deal with.
