About Littlefair's
Back in 2001, Les G. Littlefair began stocking wood stain products in his Darwen based bric-a-brac shop and soon noticed how well the products sold. As a joiner with an eye for perfection, he believed he could create an even better product that could enhance any untreated wood. After months of perfecting a product that was easy to use, environmentally friendly and beautiful to look at, Les began selling his first range. It wasn’t long until the success of his products enabled him to leave the bric-a-brac trade and concentrate on cultivating his own brand.
Based in Blackburn, Littlefair’s are multi award winning manufacturers of water-based wood dyes, varnishes, finishing oils and wax polishes. In addition to selling online we supply a number of trusted stockists – please look on the ‘find a stockist’ section on our website to locate your nearest stockist!
We were delighted recently to land the 2021 Distinction Award for Customer Service Excellence, awarded by SME News, as our values centre around providing the finest quality products and great customer service. Liked the product but was disappointed in delivery
Liked the product but was disappointed with delivery if I’m to be totally honest. We paid £15 for next day delivery. Ordered on a Thursday evening and understood that the delivery would not arrive until Saturday due to it being an evening when we placed the order but we really hoped the delivery would arrive early Saturday given the order was placed on the Thursday evening not around 5pm on the Saturday by which time it was too late in the day to apply our first coat of stain making it inconvenient and not worth the additional cost

Thank you for your review – we're really pleased to hear you liked the product, though we’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with the delivery timing.
We just wanted to clarify that the £15 shipping fee you selected was for a Saturday delivery rather than a standard next day service. As your order was placed on Thursday evening, the Saturday slot was the next available option – and the parcel was delivered within that timeframe.
Unfortunately, as the service is specifically for delivery on Saturday, we don’t have control over what time DHL will deliver it — they can only guarantee that it will arrive at some point during the day.
That said, we completely understand your frustration that it arrived later than you'd hoped, especially as it affected your plans to apply the first coat.
We hope the product has worked well for you now that you've had the chance to use it. If there's anything else we can assist with, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Good choice of quality products
I needed a robust and eco friendly finishing product for my kitchen table. I’ve used Littlefairs “ Titan Topcoat “ in red past and the results were again excellent . I was very pleased with the ease of ordering and prompt delivery.
